The last time I was at the dealer was when I bought my car...

I don't know if I would think that they would run the 12 gauge wire and put in a 15amp breaker and plug.  I have seen it where they put the right wire, breaker, but a 15 amp plug.  The plug eventually wears out.  I have had to replace a handful of plugs in my time where this was the case.  And with the OP being a renter I'am sure it wouldn't be a good thing if the landlord caught it or it started a fire. 
 
Nobody should risk just changing their breaker over without having the proper wire, your just asking for trouble.  I'am not a licensed electrician, but know how it works.  Did a power upgrade (new meter outside and inside panel) where the power enters a house with no way to shutoff electrical on old set up and had it pass inspection first try.  None of it is rocket science, just have to pay attention and think.

Found this article to be interesting and thought that I would share with you nuts that enjoy photographing your vehicles.

Our garage has 20 amp circuits and I've never had any problems.  Also remember if you're going to be using an extension cord I wouldn't use anything smaller than 12 AWG.  Go with 10 AWG if you're using a really long cord.

Thanks. They barely fit under the 18" wheels but have a little more room to breathe behind the 19s that I run in the summer.
 

Between my work schedule and the weather, I hadn't been able to wash my car in almost a month.  This meant the wheels were absolutely covered in brake dust and dirt, and although it might not have been as bad as some people's customer's cars might be, it was pretty bad by my standards.  I hit them with some Deep Wheel Cleaner, let it sit for a few minutes, and then with just some light agitation with a brush they were almost good as new.  This stuff has always impressed me, but today I took some quick phone pics to document it.

I can't lie, it DOES feel like home again!  Welcome back buddy.  You were sorely missed.
 
Edit:  I was introduced to Adams by a buddy of mine Eddie. From the very beginning, I was treated warmly, and my questions were answered completely, quickly, and without judgement.  Dylan seemingly took a personal interest in my detailing upbringing/education, and the results have been spectacular ever since.  To me, Dylan and Adam's were synonymous.   When employees buy into your corporate mission statement, its a powerful thing, and it seemed to me that Adam employed people that did just that.  My participation in this forum slowed after Dylan left.  It wasn't because I lost faith in Adam's products as I continued to buy those that consistently impressed me.  It just felt less personable, less grounded.  Dylan's return has restored that, and I've always enjoyed the innovations he's been a part of.  I'm excited for Dylan's return, and the future for the company I've supported for so long.  You guys have a special corporate strategy forming here, and it can't happen without your partnership!

Even greater news than the Dacia Sandero.

When I heard that Dylan was dismissed from SCG, I called him immediately, and invited him to lunch.  We immediately offered to bring him back, as he was a pivotal part of the growth that we experienced while he was on our team.  Let's face it, Dylan rocks, and we would love to have him back!
 
He is looking at several options currently, and will be making a decision that is best for his family, and bank account! SEMA is next week, and he has multiple offers and meetings.
 
We did part ways on good terms, and would love to have Dylan on our team again.......
 
Go Dylan, and no matter what, we support him and his family!
