In my experience, using a couple different brands of clay, having some marring is normal and is heavily dependent on two factors: 1) what the clay bar is picking up from the paint and how hard that contaminant is will have an influence as it is then embedded in the clay bar and will then be able to drag across the paint introducing marring 2) frequency of folding the clay bar - want to continually fold the clay to get a "clean" clay surface to use again 3) softness of clear coat - my Mazda6 has a clear coat so soft that is seems to mar if I sneeze or look at it while just holding a towel, hence claying will almost always introduce some marring on this soft clear coat - the Vette with its rock hard clear on the other hand hand doesn't seem to get any noticeable marring from claying Other thoughts not from my experience - since this is a customers car do you know if the marring was already there before you started, maybe just hidden from view by a glaze or filler?

Don't know how bad it is, post some pics if you have them. In my experience usually claying the car with amounts of detail spray for lubrication will remove most overspray. I also need to reapply sealant/wax afterwards. Be sure to capture before and after pics.

LOL Hah! I used to use the right handed placement but changed the placement to be between the right and left handed so that the bottles fit on the shelf better. How OCD is this?!

Hmmm, interesting idea. Thanks for the idea! One part of my driveway tends to get darker in color due to mildew/mold where a gutter downspout drops water on the driveway. Now thinking about trying the UCS in that area to see if it helps after the next time I clean the driveway.

I like some new cars but at heart I really like older cars, have ever since the 70s when I was a kid. Here are a couple of my favorites:

Deep wheel cleaner is a great product, but I still end up using GWC for most situations. More cost effective and also very effective in cleaning. GWC is still my main wheel cleaning product. Love it! After two months of not cleaning the daily driver I snapped a couple before and after to show what GWC can easily clean up. Before: After APC in the fender wells and tires, quick scrub with the fender brush - GWC on the wheels and using the old boars hair wheel brush and the new lug nut brush - 3-4 minutes later... Love this product, great results, low odor, high effectiveness, great value!

Grueling trip! Definitely a memory trip! Very cool to contrast these pics to the Grand Canyon - similar rock colors but here you have more trees. Great adventure!

It will be interesting to see what changes they make to the suspension. That much power without significant suspension changes will just be a recipe for disaster. Will be interesting to see how the competition reacts.

Glass sealant on the glass and the spray sealant on the hood, loader arms and boom to make it easier to wash off.

Until you posted about this I had never heard of it. Looks like it should be fun. Very nice you don't need a schedule to be at specific places on specific days.

Depending on the level of tarnish/oxidation you may need something more aggressive to do the brute work of removing the top layer. I used metal polish on a copper fire pit bowl - obviously being outdoors and being a fire pit it needed some heavy duty work. Used 0000 steel wool under a drill pad (with some metal polish as a lubricant). Then used a 4" green pad with the metal polish to complete the work. Turned out great (besides trashing the green pad)! Be sure to post up pics of your completed work.

Wow, love the courage it takes to be open and humble about the challenges and mistakes and what you are doing to fix it. The honesty, customer service and personal touch of what Adam has created is the reason I am loyal to the company. My vote would be for TN as it would be in a warmer climate for winter shipments to the south. A little less impacted by typical winter weather patterns. If the long range plan is to have both a NE and a SE shipping location then PA would be a better choice now as Atlanta could be added later as a good SE hub. Not sure a hub in PA would serve the Florida area well with 2 day ground service.

Any sealant should be placed under the wax. If the sealant is on top of the wax it will come off as soon as the wax does. Since sealant lasts longer it should be placed directly on the clean paint. On your next wash you could do a strip wash and then apply quick sealant.

Eek! Never thought about having to be concerned about something like that while looking for a safe parking spot. Usually all I think about is door dings, no trees to hold birds above the car or pollen/seeds/needles/sap. This is totally new! I wonder how much exercise some of us get from using safe parking spots?

I really hope this is a new product and is not a change to make SVRT into a glossy product. If SVRT goes glossy, I will have to buy a competing product. I realize there is a market segment for glossy and others on here have asked for it. Just please make it a new product and keep the current finish on SVRT as it is currently.

Love the hex grip tire applicators. Good to know they are gone now, will be sure to keep my existing ones as long as possible since replacing them won't be easy.

I have two machines, the PC and Flex, but when it comes to applying glaze it is always by hand for me. It is therapy time for me.

Glass towels, Waterless Wash towels = 1/2, 1/2 then 1/2 Great White towels = 1/2, 1/2, 1/2 then 1/2 Single Soft towels, double soft towels, utility towels = 1/2 then 1/2
