  1. To the OP, talk to the people who will help support you when you need help. Friends, family, co-workers - these are the opinions that will matter the most as you will want people who know your computer. In my experience with computers every computer brand will have a lemon, every computer brand will have some flaw, every computer brand will have idiosyncrasies in a similar way that cars have. Hence the recommendation that you stick with a brand that your friends tend to have, local friendly support cannot be over rated. :-)
  2. On the rinse less wash, can you change the smell or dial it back a bunch? That smell sticks on my hands for days and it is the one smell that I dislike out of all of Adams products. Figures that the one smell I don't like is the one smell that lingers and won't wash off my hands.
  3. Sad to see it go, will be placing another order to stock up.
  4. Very cool pics! I need to get to this type of show some day. Love the cars from the 20s and 30s.
  5. I haven't tried to remove small burn marks from a carpet in many years, probably been a couple decades. The last time I did this I found that using the rough side of a quarter (25 cent piece) along with your favorite cleaning solution worked well. The rough edge of the quarter is aggressive enough to help tear apart slightly burnt/melted carpet fibers, though the look of the carpet will look slightly different in this spot due to the carpet fibers loosing their twist from the aggressive nature of the quarter edge.
  6. I agree! The paper on those walls will yellow over time and also pick up more dirt. A couple quick coats of paint will help preserve the look and value of the investment you have made. :-)
  7. Any interior shots? The S550 is an awesome car!
  8. I agree, the rinseless product works great! Use it here in florida during the water restriction times.
  9. I haven't used BG on the inside of the car windows (since I have window film on both cars)... but do use it on the sliding glass doors on the house and love how it makes it sooo easy to have super clean and streak free windows. If I didn't have window film I would definitely try using it on the inside of the car windows.
  10. In addition to the above questions, what speed are you running the PC?
  11. Very cool! Love traveling and photographing nature but will probably never have the opportunity to take a pic like that!
  12. A few years ago when I first started detailing I first bought the drill adapter and polishes when I wanted to polish out a long scratch on the side of the car (appeared to be keyed). I was able to dramatically reduce it in the areas where I had enough clear to work with. It is a little challenging using a drill with the pads to polish but is much much easier than working it by hand!!
  13. Yep, I hit them with APC and the fender brush every time. If I try to skip this process the tires will begin to develop the brown tint.
  14. Seems to be working for me. I found this thread using it.
  15. Was researching how to best care for the Vette and stumbled across Adams - loved the instructional videos.
  16. After testing different sealants here in Florida I have found that quick sealant works best as a bug gut repellant. The bugs seem to wash off easiest with quick sealant. Tend to stick a bit more with buttery, Americana or the old super machine Sealant/wax. Have not tested the new paint sealant for bug gut repellant. I will typically use the super machine sealant/wax on the entire car (since it has a longer durability here in the Florida sun) and then add a layer of the quick sealant as a top coat on the nose and side mirrors for bug purposes.
