Chase@InsanePaint got a reaction from THE Mook in Foam Gun Sugestions
Correct....Justin hit my thoughts exactly. Can't really understand the original question....? Steps should be:
-Rinse Car
-Foam gun soak car
-2 bucket wash car
-Rinse car
-Dry car
The ONLY step that could be eliminated is the foam gun soak. The purpose of ADDING that step, is to further reduce the risks of scratches/swirls, due to lifting the dirt off the surface & by adding "slickness" to the paint surface to prep for washing.

This thread will somewhat run in conjunction with my "BEFORE & AFTER PIC THREAD" - but not totally. I just wanted to create one simple place, where the finished detail could be shown off a bit. So in this thread, you'll find the "Facemelting" end result, of some of our favorite details!! Creating a deep, rich, WET shine, is the specialty of the relationship between Adam's Polishes & Insane Paint Auto Detailing. Remember, I'm readily available for product consultation, via PM or phone call/text. AS WELL AS, if you'd like to book a detail with me. So now that the formalities are out of the way.....LET'S SEE SOME SEXY RIDES!!
Here's a 2011 Bentley Mulsanne we completed recently. These first few pics, are from just when we backed it out to rinse off, after polishing. No sealant, no wax. -
Then we pulled it back into the owners garage, applied (secret) - did all the final touches with Adam's SVRT, Detail Spray, Double Soft Microfibers, etc. And here she sits!

I use a Gilmour and love it, but I'm confused by the original question. You asked if you should use microfiber wash pads, or switch to a foam gun. You should use both together in order to provide a safer wash, not just use one or the other. You can use a microfiber wash pad and a Two Bucket method alone, but not a foam gun by itself. I use my foam gun to cover the car in foam, then use a Two Bucket Method to clean the car. Hope that helps

Chase@InsanePaint reacted to 2012CC6.2 in Vintage Baseball Glove, COMPLETE turnaround Leather Cleaner & Conditioner
Well, i dont know what all to say except that Adams Leather Cleaner with the brush, and Conditioner did an amazing job on this late 1940's model baseball glove. I am starting a collection of gloves and wanted to clean this up without worrying about harming it. These two products absolutely floored me in how they performed on such an old piece.

Chase@InsanePaint got a reaction from Periodic in My 1993 Typhoon getting some love
So freakin rad buddy! WICKED rigs. In my opinion, that vehicle is what paved the way for today's Jeep Cherokee SRT8, Chevy TBSS, etc. ALWAYS had a soft spot in my heart for the Typhoon. NICE work man!!

Chase@InsanePaint reacted to mc2hill in Microfiber pads
The MF pads are more aggressive than the foam pads, so that should help you. As odd as is it sounds, they also can finish better too. I have done a few cars where I have used the Correcting polish and the Cutting pad, but was also able to get it to finish down without needing the Finishing polish & pad.
I have not tried this with Adam's MF system, but to get more cut, I have used 2 drops of MF polish and 1 drop of a more aggressive polish to get a little more 'bite'.

Chase@InsanePaint reacted to HydroBlueJK in Microfiber pads
Hey guys I'm new to the forum.. I've yet to try adams paint correcting polish and the fine polish.. I currently have meguiars m105 and m205 and Adams foam pads.. seems as if I can't get quite everything that I should be getting out.. I'm goin to order the new polish has anyone came across an example where say a scratch wouldn't come out with foam pads but they got hem out with microfiber pads??
For example the meguiars worked fine on my mustang but my moms buick seems to be a little tougher to get swirls and scratches out

Great work on the DD mustang. Not nearly as bad looking as some of the driven ones with that mileage.

Here's several shots from a daily driven, 135k miles, 2006 Mustang we did Friday. We didn't have the budget for "perfect" on this one, but with our Light Polish Revival Service & Adam's Polishes....here's what we got!

Haha! Preciate that big daddy! :)
One of the most rare & sought after Corvettes in the world, came under our care today. 1969 L88 427 Vette. This car appraised for almost twice as much as my house. But it was a bit neglected, and we were called in to ready it for a Concours d'Elegance show in Floriday, just a few weeks from now.......
Going, going.....GONE!

These are just some general 50/50 pictures, of various paint corrections we've done. Again, these are shot RAW, after Adam's Correction Polish ONLY. No fillers, glazes, waxes, etc.
Here's a few from a 2009 Honda Accord, with 88k miles, that we have in the shop right now....
It's not in the budget, for this car to get "perfect." But with our Light Polish Revival Service, and Adam's Polishes, here's what we're getting!
