  1. I'm not talking about them getting all matted, but more to get out dirt and stuff deep down. I use high pressure water to rinse them after I'm done washing to get all of the soap out and everything, but I feel like not even that will remove everything. What I'm asking is what do people use to brush the dirt out, as an extra peace of mind thing, not to keep them fluffy.
  2. Does anyone brush out their mitts and pads? If so do you use a comb, hair brush, or what do get out particles that could be deep in the pad?
  3. Personally, I feel that the mitt is easier to control and easier to clean out compared to the pads. Also, I feel that they are softer than the pads. For me, I have 2 mitts for the SS and I have 4 wash pads to use on other vehicles, including my truck and other peoples cars I do for money.
  4. Adams must pay well...Dylan and Lynn with amazing houses!
  5. Ask and you shall receive. Looks like a gallon of detail spray, revive, buttery, detail spray, all purpose, and swirl and haze.
  6. Hmmm, I have it on DVR. I'll have to pay attention for it. How far in? And we are talking about the episode that just aired this past Sunday, 03/09, correct?
  7. Spoiler is rather large... Guy must have some money to own 3 rare cars
  8. Haven't gotten the chance to try it out yet. Better than VRT applied to the wheel wells? Because that's tough to beat...
  9. Hahaha. Not quite. Subarus have whats called boxter engines.
  10. Bear hug it and twist back and forth. or set it on the bed and jump on the bed
  11. Very nice Dave! Love the engine compartment!
  12. Shoulda stuck with the boxer power!
  13. If you're worried about tape lifting them, you could use the same stuff painters use in a both to mask off the entire panel. Just cut to the size you need, lay it over the pinstripes and use painters tape to hold it on.
  14. I envisioned this thread being bigger...lol
  15. I always enjoy seeing pictures of other people cars and being able to whore mine out whenever possible. Lol. I also like to see the transformation some people have put their car through, whether it be restoring, modding, or demodding to bring it to it's glorious self. So, ladies and gentlemen, I figured it would be a cool idea to start a thread on what you have done to your cars/trucks since you have bought them. You can either just post pictures if they're all appearance, or you can add a detailed description along with it if you'd like. As for me, I'll just post pictures and if anyone has questions, they can ask. Here it goes! 1998 Chevrolet Camaro SS SLP #2008 Day I went and looked at it (don't ask why the moron put a shift light on an auto...) Once I got it washed off from being delivered on a flat bed (notice the crooked exhaust tip due to the flat bed driver) Chrome plate on the SS scoop inlet removed Clear side markers Painted brake calipers: Before: After: "Berger" mod: Painted behind grille: Lowered and New wheels: Before: After: New exhaust (from SLP loudmouth to Borlamouth through center mount): Before: (See above pictures) After: Grille change (from billet to custom painted SLP SS grille): Before: (See above pictures) After: My favorite mod: Finished product: Note: It may not look lowered that much in pictures, the camera makes it look like it sits higher, but in real life it sits perfect in my book. Also, somewhere along the line the 3rd brakelight and rear side markers got blacked out and I got a new SS nose emblem. So, everyone, let's see yours! As you can see, mine went through quite a transformation from bone stock appearance wise, to how it sits now. I also have a decal to put on the hood scoop this spring.
  16. I've got a decal to put on the SS hood scoop. Other than that, nada. Which is really sad...last year I had so much to do to it. Does correcting the paint count as a mod? . Lol. It's probably good that I'm not modding it at the moment. I'm seriously considering selling the SS and Colorado to get a G8 GT but haven't decided yet. I would like a G8 GT, but not sure if I wanna get rid of the SS yet. Back to mods though, I may get a stall later on this summer. It needs a new AC compressor and some u-joints. Anyone wanna buy me a new AC compressor? Lol! Those things are ridiculously expensive.
  17. This is Bentley: The boxer in the last picture is Mack, he passed away of a massive heart attack in December
  18. I don't understand why it can't remain an option. The people that need the product faster will pay extra to receive it sooner and the people that don't care about wait time will go the cheaper option. If the people don't want to have to wait as long, don't choose the smart post option...
  19. Nice, I was just about to post a thread asking about this same exact model of carpet cleaner. Figure it would be a lot easier than a huge carpet cleaner. Also, the scrubbing method sucks...lol. I might just have to get one of these. Would you recommend it? Did you fill it w/ pure Carpet and Upholstery cleaner?
  20. Wanna trade?! Lol! That's one BA truck!
