  1. Guys and Gals, Well, I just finished cleaning up the Coly today finishing it off with a layer of quick sealant and Americana. After the quick sealant I made sure to go over the entire truck and knock it down. So, that's all good and then I apply the Americana and all is fine, truck looks great (not in the sun, it's swirl city in the sun, haven't had time to correct it). Anyways, I went to take pictures of it this evening because I'm contemplating whether or not I want to sell it and get into something more fun/comfortable to drive, so something sporty/luxury (like a G8). While taking pictures, in the shade, I go around to the front of the truck and notice on the hood some residual hazing that wasn't there after applying the Americana. So, I'm like, whatever, continue taking pictures and head back home. When I get home I grab the Waterless Wash and a Great White and try to remove the hazing. Well, no luck on the first go around, hit it again, no luck, hit it a third time, finally some progress removing it. Go over it one more time and it seems to be all removed but can't tell for sure because the lighting where I was taking pictures was showing the hazing a lot better than it was at my house. The thing is, this isn't the first time the quick sealant has done this on my truck. After I did a test polish on the hood (to get used to the process) I hit it with quick sealant and buttery (3 months ago) and later that day saw the same hazing. Mind you, this is only on the hood... Any help, comments, input, questions are welcomed. Thanks! Here's a picture of the truck. Anyone interested in buying it? Lol. Seems to be the same issue... http://www.adamsforums.com/forums/waxing-glazing-sealing/18310.htm
  2. Possibly just scratches you are seeing after removing all the crap that was on there that you couldn't see before because of the stuff that was on there.
  3. Not a fan of that hood, but the car looks tastefully done. Is it stock under the hood?
  4. As long as the gallons are the same price, you can just place in the notes section of the checkout screen you would like to replace the waterless wash with the shampoo. If there was a price difference you'd need to contact Ashley or Lynn via call or chat to get the adjustment at checkout. I know when I ordered the 3 step polish bundle I replaced the swirl and haze with machine super sealant since I already had a bottle of swirl and haze from my first order. Ashley told me just to specify in the notes section and the warehouse would make the swap while packaging.
  5. I haven't noticed that mine is difficult to squeez, but i still have 1/2-3/4 of a bottle remaining so idk how it is below that level to get product out. Not sure what the best solution would be...perhaps like other's have mentioned with the squeezable butter containers and what not.
  6. Revive, I have found, is much easier to use by hand than with a Machine.
  7. I've hit my wheels a few times with it. No damage. As long as you're not slamming it against the wheel, a slight tap shouldn't do much of anything. The electrical tape should alleviate your issue though.
  8. I remember when my collection was that small...
  9. I'll be a driver if I get to drive the ZR1. I, however, refuse to drive it during the winter months. Lol.
  10. Possibly? Did I get a special blend? Lol. Yess, I turn all nozzles to "off" after use.
  11. Nope. It sits in a room in the house out of sunlight. The vents in the room are usually shut so there's no heat going to the room. All of my products are in there and none of them seem different.
  12. Anyone have any issues with their LIC leaking from the nozzle? This has happened twice. I cleaned it off once and it reappeared so I took some pictures then took the nozzle off, cleaned it, and sprayed a liberal amount of water through it. Where it sits on the shelf. You can see where it's dripping: Build up on nozzle:
  13. I think the kit mook suggested with the option to upgrade to 16 oz bottles would be good.
  14. Watch what the water is doing when you are washing it. If it's still beading you're good, if it's starting to lose beading, add another coat. I would say choose which wax you prefer and just stick with that. If you wanted, you could apply a coat of Americana then touch it up every 3 weeks or so with Buttery then when you clay or get to the point where you have to strip to bare paint add the Americana again. It's all up to you, but your best guage on when to wax is when the beads start to disappear while it's raining or when you're washing it.
  15. Nice looking Stang. Couldn't decide on which accent color you wanted (white or black) huh? Lol.
  16. Machine Super Sealant will last longer than the quick sealant. I believe that the machine super sealant is just as easy to apply, you just have to bust out the PC to do it, but it goes on just as quickly. The one down side with the machine super sealant is the cure time. I like both. Here's how I see it. If you are doing work with a polisher, might as well use machine super sealant, if you aren't doing any work with a polisher and need to add protection, grab the quick sealant.
  17. After polishing polished aluminum, would it be alright to seal them with quick sealant? Or should they just be polished then left alone? Thanks Guys and Gals!
  18. Seems like quite a bit being used. There was a thread a few months back where Dylan posted how much he has used...let me see if I can find it. I don't use the fogging method, just spray it on the app and apply. Edit: Here it is... http://www.adamsforums.com/forums/waxing-glazing-sealing/16085.htm
  19. Hmmm...no one on here? Guess I won't be meeting anyone on the forums this weekend then. Lol.
