  1. Not bad looking, but it's too big. I always liked the S-10 (made locally) because it was a real alternative to a fullsize truck for folks that wanted something smaller. With the Colorado (made locally until GM shut down the plant) I don't see why you wouldn't just buy a Silverado, etc. At least with the former Colorado, it wasn't much cheaper when similarly equipped, and the fuel economy wasn't game-changing. Don't get me wrong, midsize trucks are perfectly adequate for most people's non-commercial use. But again, for the small money difference I can't see passing up the extra power/capability/comfort of a fullsize. Sorry for sounding so negative.
  2. I don't like the idea of a Porsche SUV, though I understand the business case for it. I'm sure it's a fine vehicle, but if I'm in the market for a Porsche I'm thinking sports car, and if I want an SUV I'd look somewhere else.
  3. They look good, and cost less than the tires are worth! Those are 18s aren't they?
  4. I have the Adam's 2013 calendar in my office and have received a lot of comments about it throughout the year. With December fast approaching, I was wondering if there will be a 2014 calendar (or if I missed the announcement).
  5. Regarding Paul's comments about cleaning the engine, I was wondering how we can even be sure there is one under all that plastic! I remember once upon a time you had to cut a hole in your hood to fit a supercharger, now here's a small(ish) car with a Roots-style blower you can't even see when you pop the hood! Mook, I'm curious about using metal polish on those wheels. I always treat polished metal like paint if it has a clearcoat. Is the metal polish still the best option here?
  6. Are you going to the SEMA show? You probably won't be able to see everything in two days. Even if you don't have passes to get in, there is enough coolness outside of the convention center to occupy most of a day.
  7. That should make it a little easier to clean the bits of rubber from the rear fenders...
  8. I had no idea this was a regular color option; I hadn't seen it in any of the press so far. The metallic really pops out in the sun.
  9. As killer as the next Z promises to be, I don't think anyone will say you made the wrong choice with yours, Rich!
  10. Another winner! You're obviously a man who knows what he likes.
  11. Very nice! As if the Typhoon isn't rare enough as it is, you're not gonna see another green one any time soon.
  12. Welcome! And good call starting your new ride off with Adam's products!
  13. What can you do with the film? Is it possible to remove it without damaging anything?
  14. They need to re-appraise that Stingray. Now it's probably worth 4x your house!
  15. Nice turnaround already, just wait til you glaze and wax it!
  16. Great results! Was the owner surprised by how much correction it needed?
  17. Super Sealant works fine as a top layer, but yes Americana or Buttery wax on top of it will add even more gloss/depth. Also, the wax will not affect the sealant's function.
  18. We're all here because our car is our baby, right? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ryNtVK55OUY
  19. Sorry to hear about your father-in-law's condition. It looks like he's taken good care of the Mustang, so maintaining it should be pretty easy. Give it the 2 step polish followed by Brilliant Glaze and Americana wax. Assuming it spends most of its time in a garage, other than the occasional wash, you should just need to touch it up with Waterless Wash and Detail Spray. Of course, Adam's has you covered inside and out, so check out the videos for interior and trim detailing as well.
  20. It does that as it ages to let you know you're slacking. Drink up!
  21. Nice rescue! Did the owner accuse you of repainting it? Also, thanks for reminding me I need a foam gun.
