  1. I've thought about this too, as I walk past some nice cars at work everyday that look like they're washed by kids at a fundraiser. As with Jim's concerns, I wouldn't be leaving a card to offer my cleaning services or even include any of my contact info, but rather just to raise awareness of Adam's products. I get a DVD with almost every order because I give them to friends, would it be spammy to leave one on a random windshield?
  2. Check about 6 minutes into this video. She uses a Adams Car wash soap/water solution with the interior brush and mentions to use the Carpet & Upholstery cleaner for heavier soils. http://www.adamspolishes.com/t-Detailing_Video_Vol_8_Chapter_04_2_Bucket_Car_Wash.aspx
  3. What they said. There's a discussion about Dawn, but APC has always done the job for me. http://www.adamspolishes.com/t-Detailing_Video_Vol_8_Chapter_20_Cleaning_Accessories.aspx
  4. The trim and lug nut brush is great for cleaning the nooks and crannies, especially the tough to reach spots underhood. After you get those areas to an acceptable level of clean, you can use WW and WW towel or utility towels during future washes.
  5. That is neat. I agree that it's beneficial to know the good and bad parts of your family history. By chance did you have any relatives associated with Mercedes-Benz, Auto Union, or Porsche?
  6. Some see a problem, some see an opportunity. :pc7424:
  7. If I lived in Alaska I suppose I'd need a GTR simply for the all-wheel-drive. And I suppose the Switzer goodies would help outrun any angry bears, caribou, etc. Safety first, ya know.
  8. The DJL tags on the old building was a nice touch.
  9. The "Jake" wash bucket was appropriate for this one. :pc7424: Is it the LS9 that has a plate on it that says the name of the builder?
  10. This is why shows are going to start having a separate category for Adam's users. :pc7424:
  11. Make sure they know the secret handshake or no Americana!
  12. Admit it, you just wanted a hauler to match the Camaro.
  13. I'll never understand why people buy nice cars and neglect them. Good job bringing her back!
  14. Killer setup! Keep us posted.
  15. It looked nice before, but as usual you took it to the next level! Do you or anyone know the scoop on that bird hood ornament? Is that a Ford thing or something else?
  16. I don't know about all that, but lower in the fine print it says if you ever post pics of your car in any condition other than spotless, or if you're using competitor's products, Adam will send Mook to seize your car. And in your case, all 2013 calendars will have May removed.
  17. Same here. I get excited just reading about the IoM TT, I can hardly imagine seeing it firsthand!
  18. Welcome! This is a great forum, you should really post more often than biannually! It sounds like you have a lot of experience to share.
  19. Welcome to the forum! What Adam's products do you have? I guarantee you'll have 'em all before too long!
  20. Yeah, I was out there a few months ago and the Adam's crew treated me better than family. I can't say enough good things about the team and their products. I just wish more companies put such emphasis on a positive work environment and customer service, and of course quality products.
  21. I mix in a few ounces of All Purpose Cleaner for a strip wash.
