  1. I like big powerful sedans and I cannot lie...
  2. I live near the TX/LA border and they require front plates and we don't. Over the years I've known quite a few Texan Corvette and Camaro guys who either put their plates on the air dam (unreadable, but technically mounted to the front of the vehicle) or on the dash so it can be read through the windshield. They've had mixed results with tickets, but most chalk it up as cost of ownership (the citation is non-moving, much like a dark tint citation) and choose to risk the periodic fines rather than deface the front of their cars.
  3. I'm confident it would've put down better numbers with more traction.
  4. Any excuse for a test drive, right?
  5. Beauty! That ruby red shined up like a jewel! And I swear CO has more license plate varieties than any other state, but at least it allows you to coordinate with your ride.
  6. Congrats on the win! 1980-newer sounds very broad; were there a ton of entrants?
  7. If you can do the majority of the work yourself it looks like a good project.
  8. That's the great thing about a properly maintained finish. Even when it's dirty, it still shines better than most other cars on a good day.
  9. That's quite a homecoming present! And very impressive stable you've got there! Maybe add a Raptor or GT500 and you'll have all your bases covered.
  10. Great work as usual! The NSX really is a special car. I think they could bring it back virtually unchanged and it wouldn't be dated at all.
  11. Too bad you (and everyone else) didn't get to see Boost going down the road. But it's still cool you got to see her up close and personal like that.
  12. As a GM product loyalist I'm glad this car exists. I'm not sure I'd call it a halo car, but it does fill a hole in Chevy's lineup. They seem to be trying to change the Impala's image, so I guess that's why this isn't just an Impala SS. Mid $40s sounds high to me personally, but if this car is comparable to similarly-priced cars from Germany or Japan in regards to interior quality and driving experience, then it could really help the brand. However, for the money I figure most folks would go with Cadillac.
  13. Adam's has dealers in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. They need to get the word out! :pc7424:
  14. I prefer working with the smaller bottles, so I picked up a few empty 16 oz'ers. http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-530-adams-empty-bottles.aspx
  15. Wow, i can't believe you did all that in just a few hours! You took that baby to the fountain of youth!
  16. I sell stuff on ebay all the time, so I never throw away my Adam's boxes or the paper filler. I also use them to store things including extra Adam's products (temporarily, of course).
  17. It varies with conditions, but some areas I only apply SVRT every other wash because it holds up so well.
  18. Look at it as a challenge: you can correct any damage they do! :pc7424:
  19. ^Quick Sealant is great for protecting wheels and making them easier to clean.
  20. GM seems to have done a good job on the new trucks, but I still think the interior is ugly, particularly the center section of the dash. Of course, I optioned out my 2012 SLE rather than spending just a hair more for the SLT because I didn't like the Yukon dash those come with.
  21. I would think most modern wheels would be powdercoated rather than painted for durability sake, but contact the manufacturer to be sure. And if it makes you feel any better, Green Wheel Cleaner is safe for almost* all wheel finishes. *NOTE: Not recommended for uncoated polished billet aluminum wheels.
