  1. This is what I do. I've also resorted to diluted APC for nastier stuff, just don't leave APC on your paint very long.
  2. Don't get discouraged, Todd. That's a great suggestion, and just because no one posted a reply doesn't mean they won't follow up on it.
  3. The Revive might not have been absolutely necessary after the Finishing, but you did it in the right order since it is the least aggressive polish. I don't know if this is the correct terminology, but in practical terms I consider Revive more of a pre-wax "cleaner" than a polish.
  4. Whoever's in charge of marketing around here should write that down!
  5. I understand. "No pics" is generally the safe way to go.
  6. As others have said, you're in the right place for the best beautifying products and techniques, and don't leave us hanging on the details of your "nice car!"
  7. Great pics! I don't suppose you ever have a problem spotting it in a crowd.
  8. Realistically, a black daily driver (or any DD, really) can't be perfect for more than a few days at a time. That's not to say you shouldn't try, but between the color that shows everything and having your car exposed to regular hazards, you're going to have to prepare yourself to deal with the occasional flaw. The good news is, as an Adam's user, your car will still look better than 99% of the others out there!
  9. Welcome to the forum! Maintaining the Altima will be so much easier since it's getting Adam's from day one.
  10. That's the idea! Welcome to the forum, it's a great source of information for keeping your car looking better than new.
  11. I saw it yesterday and it was excellent. The racing scenes are well done and should really be experienced in the theater.
  12. Welcome to the forum! There's a lot of great folks and info here to answer whatever questions you have (about making your car look its best, at least ). And be sure to check out the instructional videos.
  13. Beauty! and so glad to hear it's a driver. As it implies, does "soft top delete" mean the car doesn't have a folding top at all? Do you have a hoist for the hardtop?
  14. Does Mike Musto have a great job or what? Can you imagine getting paid to hoon the coolest cars on the planet?
  15. Nice work as usual! How did it do in the show? or was it disqualified for melting the judges' faces?
  16. These are the products I started with as well. I was amazed at the improvement on my finish from just a basic wash, so I kept trying more Adam's products and haven't been disappointed yet! I first heard of Adam's products on a GM truck forum in a thread where Dylan was posting about SS replica wheels and showing off his black Avalanche. I searched some threads and everyone was raving about the stuff (SVRT and DS in particular), so that led me here. As others have mentioned, the main thing that got me to take the plunge is this forum and the instructional videos. Now I always keep a DVD in my truck to hand out to anyone that asks how I keep it so shiny.
  17. Very ! I've always preferred the 55 to the 57 (not that I'd turn one down!).
  18. I use WW all the time. I have a carport, so when my rides are clean I use it to remove light dust before it accumulates too much. And lately I've had a knack for getting sprayed with sprinklers (don't water the street, people!!!), so WW is great for cleaning those spots. I often follow it up with DS, but it's not mandatory.
  19. It's funny our different preferences for the same product. Some commenters love it while others are indifferent or even dislike it. But I'm sure we all agree the Undercarriage Spray smells great! I think this product is essential for trucks and SUVs since the inner fender is so exposed. Not having a dark, even look to it can distract from the cleanliness of the paint (much like neglecting to dress the tires). Also, the rear frame rails are pretty visible by the wheels, and the IUC does a great job of dressing up the ugly coating on them. It's all about the details, right? These are the kinds of things that most people won't notice when they're clean, but they stand out when they're dirty.
  20. Nice! Any more pics of the show?
