  1. Looks like cooler heads prevailed. I got the following, in email, today after having registered a complaint as per the original post here.... Hansen Beverage Company and Rock Art Brewery today issued the following statement in connection with a recent trademark issue: Hansen Beverage Company and Rock Art Brewery have reached an amicable agreement under which both companies' respective products will be protected - Hansen's Monster Energy® line of energy drinks and Rock Art's Vermonster beer products. > Rodney Sacks, Hansen's chief executive officer, said: "We are pleased that we were able to resolve this matter expeditiously and put the concerns that had arisen behind us so that both parties can concentrate on their day-to-day businesses, selling their respective high-quality products. Our intent in this matter was simply to protect Hansen's trademarks and prevent any likelihood of confusion arising in the future through potential product extensions and was not to prevent Rock Art Brewery from selling their Vermonster beer." > Matt Nadeau, owner of Rock Art Brewery, said: "Once Rodney and I were able to talk to each other we quickly appreciated each other's points of view and he acted reasonably, which allowed us to rapidly come to an agreement we are both happy with and allows both of us to move forward positively."
  2. That looks like a real cool mount. I was impressed with the suction cup mounting deal that came with the V1...nice and secure. I wasn't so impressed with the V1 itself as it just kept going off constantly on my commute...so I returned it.
  3. The MSW, followed on by the Americana, is a winner. I did my car and now it's on to the wife's SUV before winter really gets here. You do have to give that MSW a day to cure up though...that's a truth.
  4. ...and then after you post up, sharing your displeasure with Monster, go grab a 12 pack of this gentlemen's fine work. That's how I'm rolling with this one.
  5. If I thought an ex-wife was cheaper than just a plain old wife I'd start a collection of 1 within minutes...:willy:
  6. That certainly is impressive, but a little scary too.
  7. 303 makes an impressive protectant.
  8. Little known fact that -40 is -40 C or F as the temperature scales converge at that point. That is nasty. I'd go with the MSW and follow up with a nice Paste Wax on top. After that get your self a nice big bottle of whiskey and/or bourbon and call it a winter and fix whatever needs fixing in the spring.
  9. I have found that it is only "expensive" because I have bought pretty much everything they sell. I started out buying bottles of things and have since moved up to gallons on the things I use the most such as Detail Spray, All Purpose Cleaner, Green Wheel Cleaner, Car Wash, and Waterless Wash. I usually only polish my 2 cars twice a year but I wash them all the time. I have had bottles of the SHR and FMP polish for about 18 months now and they are just getting to the point where I'll need replacements in the spring. Some of the products you will certainly use very little of. Take the Machine Superwax (which I love) for example...a little of that stuff goes a long way. I suspect a single bottle of that will last me years. The other thing to consider is that while some things may seem expensive, such as the Americana Paste Wax, but when you look at how many applications of that you will get the cost per use is actually very inexpensive. Welcome to the forum and good luck with your new stuff.
  10. That was a classy thing to do.
  11. I'll be interested to see what the Pro's/Adam's folks have to say. I love the Waterless Wash but have been erring on the side of caution and washing when in doubt.
  12. Having just used the MSW for the first time last weekend.....I'd say to wait as well. Once you make sure the residue is all off then go to town with the BSG.
  13. I remember seeing this post some time ago I searched for the link.....but couldn't figure out how to copy the URL properly as it was part of the search....:willy: Any way this thing looks mint.
  14. I just used the Machine Superwax for the first time on Tuesday. The buttery wax had always served me well....but I tried something new and am happy with the results. From what I have read on this forum the MSW is actually a sealant and not a wax. As a result I allowed it to set up for 20-30 minutes before removing. The next day the car did need another wipe down as there was some hazing/residue that needed removing. I did that about 24 hours post application and it looked mint. I will hit it with the Americana this weekend. My rambling point it that you might want to hold off on the Americana a day or so after applying MSW.
  15. That's an expensive way to water the lawn! :lolsmack: There is noting better sounding mechanically than those lumpy cams....
  16. They are out roaming the streets of Maranello in these.... I especially like the "no camera" signs outside the factory gates!
  17. Best of luck with that Teresa. I look forward to seeing updated pictures thru the process. Once my kids are college educated (in about 12 years!) I am going to have something that will take paint off the side of the house when I start it up! A 572 with forced induction sounds like it might do just that. I like the way you think.
  18. I like those and I'd buy one. Either an XLT or a 2X to fit my svelte frame please.
  19. I'm sold. Hopefully mine will be here in time for my vacation the week after next. I am dedicating one full day to polishing my ride and drinking beer.
  20. The good news is that I have an exterminator here taking a bee hive out of my attic. The bad new is that I found it this morning! :help:
  21. Next time you should show up there with the "Adam's Burn Out Rubber Remover" and tell them you just need a quick "test" to demo your product!
  22. Will you have gallon sizes of the Waterless Car Wash and new Glass Cleaner? That is a short hop north for me.
  23. Not much of a windscreen on this bad boy... It would be kind of cool to be driven around by Sir Stirling Moss in the rig Mercedes was so kind to name after him. I wish I had been born rich instead of good looking...:lolsmack: Pebble Beach is certainly the place to be right now. A bunch of cool pictures, as well as videos, can be found at http://www.car-parazzi.com/ It is a site that was started by a bunch of young car enthusiasts who Jay Leno actually had on his show one time.
