I use the CR Spotless for the entire wash.  Yes, it uses more resin than just using for the rinse, but my truck is big and black, and I am kinda slow, so not having to worry about spots is worth the cost to me.

That filter does not produce deionized water.  It only filters out sediment (not really important unless you are on a well that has sediment in the water), and softens the water (just like a water softener in a house).  Softened water won't spot as bad as hard water, but will still leave spots. 

Boost can be a little tricky to remove sometimes compared to say Detail Spray but there's a lot more going on with Boost than Detail Spray.  Humidity and temperature can be a huge factor using Boost.  Some guys actually spray it on, spread it with a microfiber applicator and then wipe off with a clean towel.  I go with the mindset that less is more, you really don't need to use much because after the first couple wipes there is plenty of product in the towel.  I almost treat it like using H2O Guard and Gloss.

I wanted to post a topic up about how awesome Emery is. I had an issue with a previous order where the wrong pad was shipped to me. It’s probably the first time I have ever had the wrong thing sent to me and I’ve made several orders. Within minutes of speaking with Emery, he resolved the problem. Super cool guy with a very helpful approach. Having support like that from this company is why I remain loyal to Adams. I have rarely had any issues, but when I have, they have always stepped up to resolve them. Thanks for your time and assistance Emery and the rest of the Adams team.

You can apply ceramic after the two step correction.   Finish polish may not be necessary, as the coating prep spray should clean the correcting polish residue off, which is primarily what the finish polish will do on a new vehicle. 
 
I would not apply coating over wax, as you want the coating to bond directly to the clear coat, and not have anything in between.  The coating prep spray will likely remove it anyway.  It is also a good idea to strip wash the car before your correct, so that you are not removing wax with your correcting and polishing pads.  
 
 

Yes, you absolutely can and should apply the coating after correction. You want the surface to be as near perfect and swirl free as possible...prep is everything! You can apply Americana in the meantime; however, that or any other product must be completely removed prior to the coating. Again, prep is everything. That's where the Coating Prep comes into play. Bottom line, you want a completely bare, clean surface before applying the coating.

I cannot say thank you enough to Ray and everyone else at GPC for putting on this event every year. It was great to meet some new faces and catch up with some friends too!

It's that time of the year again for the annual Grabiak Performance Center Small Town Expo and Detail Clinic, in New Alexandria, PA! The event is being held Saturday morning, May 19th, starting at 9AM until 2PM at Grabiak Chevrolet!

I stopped by the dealership a few weeks back to start planning things out with Ray, and we're sure to make this year's event exciting and fresh! We're planning to have an Interactive Experience with 3 different work stations this year - one on Proper Washing, one for Interior Care, and one for Paint Care - Correcting and Protecting!
 
Chris Toth (Chris@Adams), myself, and Eric (one of our expert detailers from our Barrett-Jackson show team) will all be demonstrating the newest products, answering questions, and letting you try them out before you buy.

Am I the only one that doesn’t mind the smell of WC?  DOnt get me wrong, I don’t “like” it, but it certainly doesn’t offend me. Try iron-x one time and then see how bad it is. 

Reminds me of the last one I did.  It was pretty seized in the sink base so I just shut the water off, cut the supply and drain lines and smacked the sink basin with a sledge hammer until it all came out and got everything new ?.

I heard he evaporated in a crazy car crash......  Racing through the Swiss Alps in a LaFerrari, and launched off a cliff, doing well over 200 mph.  He was racing a Bugatti Veyron, and winning, when he swerved to avoid a mud puddle, he didn't want to dirty the freshly detailed supercar.....the beautiful car took flight, and exploded into smithereens.....big insurance claim!
 
Hahahahaha!  Well, hello friends!  Seems as our little business grows, the days are long, the travel frequent, and the downtime is fleeting.  As our little family grows, my 'off time,' when I used to hang on the Forum, is now filled with soccer or basketball, homework, etc. ( The Forum is where I went to chill out, not so much to work.)   Crazy to think, when we started Adam's Forums in 2008, we had 0 kids, 3 employees, and plenty of free time!  
 
Now, a decade later, were are blessed with 41 employees, 3 kids, and a pretty dang busy business. We now attend over 40 shows each year, and I see many of you around the country!

Bianca has been working customer service the past couple years, spends a lot of time on answering phones but like Dan she does a lot of other stuff behind the scenes. She's one of the reasons Adams customer service is the best!

Guess that means I have never had any reason to call Customer Service!   And that's GOOD!  I know she's coming to PA for the Grabiak clinic so I'll probably meet her there.  

Always a good feeling to have a clean truck for once in the middle of winter!  Very nice looking truck and sounds like one heck of a plan for a garage.
