Insane Paint Auto Detailing/Adam's Polishes BEAUTY PIC thread!

Recommended Posts

Dropped some bombs on my shop truck today.  It had been 8 months since the original detail & polish on my girl.  It wasn't really harmed from washing or anything.  But some clients had touched/leaned/rubbed up against it a few times.  So in my head, lol, it was time for a correction.  Did a 1-stage polish.  Layed down a layer of Adam's Quick Sealant, then a layer of Americana Paste Wax, then a layer of Patriot Paste Wax.  Maybe a bit of overkill....but I like it protected...and I like it WET. :D

When I was back home in Kansas this week, did some SERIOUS polishing on a 2011 CTS-V.  Not only for paint correction, but for massive protection for the incoming winter...

These first couple are JUST after polishing.  No wax.  No sealant.  No glaze.  No filter.  RAW PAINT.

Not surprising IMO. Adams is a great starter brand but not designed for a production detailer. If you detail for money, you must utilize more economical and concentrated products to maximize your profits. It's not a bad thing, it's just how the business model is set up. This brand is for the weekend warrior and that's perfectly fine. Of course I'm completely speculating but I would be surprised if this wasn't simply a "dollars and cents" decision for Chase. I'm sure both sides are grateful for the previous partnership.

Whats up with that !!?? Are you telling me there are better products out there that are less expensive ?? Are there products out there that do a better job than Adams ?? I am sure not all of Adams products are good for every job but swithching to Pinnacle, Collinite, Wolfgang, etc.,can thier products be any better? After looking at his great work using Adams products, I wonder if the vehicles could come out any better. Chase, help us here.  :willy:   :o

Crazyness.  That was a quick 180, from Adam's is the greatest brand ever...to not even using them.  I wonder if there's more to the story besides price point.  Many other brands are just as expensive, or even higher on many items.  I must say though, APC really needs to be concentrated :)

I'm sure there's more to the story probably $$ issues as well. Will never know and it's really none of our business to speculate. Sorry he's gone, but I'll always stand behind Adam's product and personally to me it's the best stuff on the market no matter who comes and goes. As long as Adam's stays around that's all I'm concerned about.
