New glasses towels streaking

Bought the new glass towels a few weeks ago. Thought I was happy with them, but the last few times I have used them I always have streaks on the glass in the bright sun. Think I will stick with the old glass towels, never notice streaks after with them

Interesting, I have had the opposite. Normally I fight the streaks with the old glass towel and have to go back over the glass with a single soft but now I just flip the new towel and the glass comes streak free.

You HAVE to wash them first. I had the same problem as you. Made my windows a streaky mess.  Washed them and have had no issues since.

I'll admit I don't have any of the microfiber revitalizer that Adam's sells, I did wash normally however.  Mine are also streaky when using them.  It's very oily looking as well.

You HAVE to wash them first. I had the same problem as you. Made my windows a streaky mess.  Washed them and have had no issues since.  

 

   Wash the towels PRIOR to using them with Adam's Microfiber Revitalizer will eliminate any streaking issues

Think I bought a 6 pack of them and only washed 2 so far in my normal wash routine. Makes sense, think the one's that were streaking good yesterday have not been washed yet so I will try that first

Mine were good right out of the box. These are a vast improvement from the previous towel. No comparison

I would try to avoid cleaning windows under high sun.  Maybe try in the early morning or late in the evening when the sun is going down. It may help.

My wording was wrong, I always clean my windows in the garage or early morning when the sun isn't up yet, and just meant that when I pulled my truck out in the sun I have streaks

How much GC are you using? Sometimes less is more.

I will admit I use probably more than needed. Normally I will spray 3-4 trigger pulls directly into the towel and then proceed to wipe the windows

I had better luck spraying the glass. No streaks for me!

I spray once or twice on one window and if the towel gets damped and starts leaving streaks I switch to a new one.

Oh yeah I forgot to say I use 2 towels. One to clean and one to dry.

Is this on a new car, or a new windshield? I find new windshields are terrible to work with. Very sticky. Takes awhile to clean them well enough.

When using in the hot sun, spray your window cleaner directly on the towel and not the window, this helps and works for me in the Califonia hot sun.

Another method I have used is clean all of the windows at once with the same towel. Then go back around with a fresh towel and buff to perfection!

I am having so many problems with the glass towels that it actually makes me mad i bought them. Always won't glide smoothly on the glass, always leaves dozens and dozens of lint spots all over! Very distatisfied and I don't know why this is happening. Help!
