  1. The reason I am asking about the effect of brilliant glaze on the coating is that in the trim coating video it is stated BG can remove excess trim coating on paint.
  2. I have a question, can brilliant glaze be applied over the top of the coating? Or will it remove the coating?
  3. This is weird, I made a review of the Rupes 15 yesterday and it looks like that one is showing in my profile. Maybe my others never saved somehow.
  4. Seeing as how none of the new products have reviews yet, I believe the reason is likely due to how busy they are. I was really just posting this out of curiosity and as a reminder to the team.
  5. I am using a similar solution. I put a few ounces of CS in and mix it with about 10-15 sprays of APC and maybe an ounce of RW and then 30 ounces of agua. All that in a bottle with a foaming sprayer. Seems to do the trick.
  6. Adams Team, I submitted a couple of reviews several weeks back and they have not shown up. I am assuming it's due to all the work you guys have been doing:) I haven't seen this much happen at Adams in such a short period of time maybe ever. I really like what you guys are doing with the coatings and everything else too! Anyway, just a friendly reminder on the reviews. I submitted one for the Ceramic Trim Coating and one for the Master Blaster. If they somehow got lost please let me know and I'll be glad to resubmit them. Thanks guys! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
  7. If you mean the VRG 3401, I know the foam pads fit. Not positive about the microfiber pads though.
  8. It depends. I think some will come ready to hook up and some will require an adapter. Probably worth figuring out the models you are serious about and then researching from there.
  9. Out of curiosity I searched around and couldn't find any. I guess it has been gone for quite a while.
  10. Might be worth checking with Thompson Racing or some of the other distributors to see if they have any on hand. Might still be some floating around out there. As for why they discontinued it I'm sure it was either a supplier thing or a low selling item.
  11. Chris I am right there with you. Got a Lexus LS 400 with similar trim on the b pillars. I have trim coating and have applied it to another vehicle on the bumpers. It worked great there. A little unsure about slapping it on the Lexus just yet.
  12. yeah that should work Having Rinseless and Waterless Wash on hand are vital to the wash process for me. I typically presoak several areas of the vehicle not just for bugs but to "slick up" the paint surface prior to putting any wash mitt on the paint. Just an added step to lessen damage to the paint. Good luck with those bugs!
  13. Daniel, Do you have waterless or Rinseless wash? The way I typically do it is to presoak the surface with one of those. Then after a few minutes I will spray the contaminants again. Most of the times during the second saturating treatment I notice the bug guts will start to detach on their own. Then a few minutes after that second treatment I use a hose with strong water pressure. A pressure washer or using the coin operated sprayer at the local self car wash would be better. The point is, you want to do as much as possible before you put a wash mitt on it. After rinsing it with water, I like to use a mitt soaked in warm soapy water. You can add APC (an ounce or so) to boost the cleaning power there. Obviously, during the washing process, you can put a little pressure on the mitt to help agitate the bug crud. I wouldnt put too much pressure on it though. I have used my fingernail inside of a rubber glove to gently pry bugs off before. You're really just guiding it off the paint here, not much force is necessary and if it is you'll need to go back to the first step again and maybe move to using APC in the presoak. Be careful there because you don't want to let that dry on the paint and you will definitely need to wax or apply sealant after. It should really slide off after completing all the other steps. Make sure you go to the bucket with the grit guard to get the junk off the mitt frequently as well. Final step would be to rinse dry and repeat if necessary. Hope this helps.
  14. I think anything at 1200 and up is going to be able to give you tons of foam. The foam cannot itself will allow you to adjust the foam to a large degree regardless of the pressure. You can control the ratio in the foam cannon and the output ratio as well.
  15. Jon welcome to the Forum sir. I will second Tims comments. The bottom line is you won't find a brand that is as solid across the board as Adams and has the support this brand carries with it backed by a team that is 100% customer focused.
  16. All I can tell you is it will release dirt like crazy if it's anything like the others I have used. That, in and of itself would lend it to be extremely safe. Both are safe. They just behave differently when they encounter dirt. That is where these types of mitts excel. You can keep them extremely clean during the wash process and like new for a long time.
  17. Andrew See this thread http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/31851-is-there-a-consensus-on-the-best-pressure-washer-for-adams-foam-cannon/?do=findComment&comment=498010
  18. It is definitely different. Reason being it has tiny microfiber strands and a denser microfiber material beneath them, which help to absorb and release dirt and grime very effectively. My thought is the Adams version is a bit more advanced from the dreadlock version. And I would venture it will be more effective and safer as well. I just got mine, but I have used a similar wash mitt design which was absolutely awesome.
  19. If this mitt is anything like the ones I am familiar with it will be outstanding at releasing dirt and grime. I think that's the biggest difference. The synthetic pad seems to want to hold on to dirt etc. The other nice thing is that a MF mitt can be machine washed. The mitts I have seen and used in the past last Forrrr...Evvvv....Errrrrr!!!
  20. Soooo would there be any benefit to using in conjunction with Ceramic Trim coating? Sort of wondering if the "slickness" would make running boards too slippery. My guess is this would probably not offer any benefit for CTC.
  21. Awesome Scott! I hope folks find this input useful.
