  1. Wipes are a Walmart product invention IMO. A microfiber towel is all the wipe you need with product of choice
  2. Correct - and if you already have an MTM electric foam cannon it comes with that Karcher adapter (brass) pre-installed
  3. Rubber trim or seals. Unless you are beasting that machine with 400 lbs of pressure lmao
  4. I agree - if the water sheets off when rinsing it means it's hydrophobic on the surface and is sealed.
  5. I have the exact problem on my wifes inner windshield as its the only one without tint film applied to it - My solution is to visco clay it, I think there are some bonded contaminants on the inside probably from sitting in a factory somewhere which makes it "sticky" - I call it "grabby" personally but I agree 100% Visco Clay on the interior glass should not harm in the least and at least you will know its contaminant free, will update after I clay the inner windshield of my wifes car this weekend to see if it cures it.
  6. Just came in to post its "POLE" mounted wash pad not a poll like we get annoyed with in this election year lol
  7. Sentinel sure sounds like another obscure paint sealant up sell used at dealerships. The key is when you can find nothing about them on the Internet.
  8. I use mine all the time and have listed many uses -blow drying crevices -if you have a good coat of sealant you can get your car 90% dry with it although it takes a few mins -blow drying tires wheels and wells quickly so you can dress them and be done -blow drying all weather rubber mats -great for workbenches cleaning up dust and debris -blowing dust out of interior before vacuuming and wipe down -with a 3' extension hose from Metro Vac I also use it to blow dry my dogs after their bath safely and without high heat (better for the coat) For the price and many uses its hard to beat!
  9. regardless of coating except the one mentioned - it will be removed with a machine polish - Unless the dealer has an OPT or other coatings certified installer working in their "detail shop" (doubtful) - I'm sure its another case of the F&I guy selling that typical paint sealant application at POS -
  10. If your rotors have a corrosion coating you should only be getting rust on the swept surfaces after a wash I would think
  11. If you're talking about diluted solution you could spray some on and it can dry. There are no chemicals in the polymers that would etch in your paint. It will have streaks from drying though, so be sure to "reactivate" with more diluted cleaner and clean appropriately with a traditional wash or a rinseless wash media (mf towel). All purpose cleaner I would not want drying on the paint however. If you are loosening bugs and letting it dry you are defeating the purpose. If anything spray them down and keep them wet for 5-10 mins max and should come off easy. This is why I keep towels and rinseless solution mixed - you have the ability to clean the front end of the bugs in 10 mins and can complete the whole car at your convenience.
  12. ^im going to have to try this out - sometimes I get stubborn grime on my hands that Lava soap really has a time with.
  13. Use a plush open nap towel (multiples if doing a GDWM) and then dry with a waffle weave. Should only need a small one like the 16x24 waterless towel to dry. Single soft is perfect - the double softs you have to use a lot of liquid if using multiples because they soak a lot up. Many of us just use standard 300-400gsm all purpose towels as well. It's all about technique. I've been doing this for 2+ years now and works perfect.
  14. Agreed ! That nozzle and the Crevice tool are really all I use - I have the 1 7/8" attachments on my 5 hp 4 gallon Ridgid - the slightly smaller attachments make getting everywhere pretty easy - I have the dusting brush too but barely use it But yes hold it at an angle to the carpet and just swipe side to side and its pretty awesome -
  15. Start with 1:1 or by 50% - but if its not super soiled you probably can go down to 1:3 Do your own testing and let us know how you do
