pirahnah3 got a reaction from falcaineer in Tire Armor
In the latest water cooler vid, @Kyle@Adams showed off his recently coated tires. They were certainly dirty and cleanup looked like it was a breeze, the dream of a spray on hose off application. I will say I thought they were a bit dull myself, but he did comment on being able to dress over them as desired. Not sure of the longevity of said dressing but it is an option. Also for those of you having coating issues, he also mentions that some tires can take quite a few coats to get to a desired shine level while other manufacturers take very little.

Nah, just keep their car looking good too, that and the appliances, and a few other household items.
And here is a recent video Adams put out on the Waterless process, the waterless like solution that you can make with rinseless follows these same guidelines.

pirahnah3 reacted to RayS in Red - Through the years
Earlier today I had to pull up a older picture of one of my vehicles and it reminded me of a few more pictures, one thing lead to another and I realized that while some members understand that I have a thing for Red vehicle, they might not fully understand the depth. In an effort to share the passion, I'm going share some of the Red vehicles over the years. While only a fraction of these are "Adam's" vehicles, they were always taken of and it is pretty obvious, at least to me, which ones had Adam's and which ones had other stuff on them.
Please enjoy a few Red vehicle pictures, ignore the big White thing and sorry, but I don't have a picture of the Red riding lawn mower, Sunfire, Van or Cruze.
First up is a view from the middle of driveway. Left to right. Malibu, Mustang, Monte Carlo SS, WRX, Top of the Pickup (not sure which one), Impala and in the back, the white thing is a 30 foot motorhome. Excluding the motor home, I'm sure the theme is starting to take effect.
Second picture: BMW. Third - Bike (yes it is dirty, it was before I washed it).
Fourth is the CX5, followed by the Range Rover - which I absolutely hate how dirty the wheels get on it.
Next up is the Lexus, followed by my favorite vehicle, the Colorado, sitting in front of the 24 year old S-10 the day I brought the new truck home.
Then we have the Equinox, which had way too many Florida Love Bugs on the front and finally the Club Car.
I am currently in discussions on a 77 Vette, I presume you don't need to ask what color it is.😁

Hate to say they are right, but it also sounds like your wood shop could use a dust collection upgrade. Should ask santa for a simple shop vac add on one, makes cleanup so much easier!

pirahnah3 got a reaction from Adam Tarbox in Patriot wax , Americana or ceramic paste wax ?
It depends on your budget, if you want the best just get the ceramic wax and be done with it. If you want to save some money and maybe do it a touch more often get the americana and go from there. If you really want to have fun get all three lol.
In all honesty I would just get the ceramic paste wax and be done with it.

pirahnah3 got a reaction from RayS in NEW! Adam's Professional Detailers Masking Tape
They do not carry this product any longer, as for a replacement a lot of people use simple painters tape.

pirahnah3 got a reaction from Adam Tarbox in H20 G&G vs. Detail Spray vs. Boost
You should really check out the new H2.0 GG video, he actually talks about it in there, right about the 3:15 mark but the whole video is worth the 5 min.

pirahnah3 got a reaction from Adam Tarbox in Acceptable scratches
@falcaineer and @shane@detailedreflections have you well taken care of. It takes a little bit to realize that perfection is something that 99% of us just do not need or need to go after. This should be reserved for the ultra show cars such as pebble beach type judging, other than that realistically there is no need to chase that perfection it has a much higher chance of destroying the paint.

pirahnah3 got a reaction from RayS in What is a good heater for the garage?
Wow, a Geothermal option given, im actually impressed you brought it up Ray, and your right they are a great solution that cost little to run but take years to pay for themselves. HOWEVER you might want to consider this if you have a well on your property as you might be able to use the well to feed the sysetm and not need to install the loops in the ground.
Geo thermal aside, propane is a great option and an easy one to use in a more urban environment. Smaller propane torpedo heaters work well to heat spaces quickly, but also require an electrical connection. You could just use those screw on heating heads for the tank, but they take a bit to heat a space. Keep in mind that you will get that propane smell and if your garage is attached to your house it WILL get into the house. While this is not the end of the world it can be an annoyance.
There are a few other options but realistically they are not as efficient or cost effective. They would be Electric, Radient heat, Solar hot water, and other green options that are well down the line.

I spent some time talking with Dave @BRZN and he commented on how well it worked not just longevity but also keeping dust away. I have some that I plan to try out when the weather gets warmer.

Another option vs. wax is to apply HGG every 4 washes or so. It works as an awesome compliment to the PS (basically made for it) and will add more protection and shine. My favorite product from Adam's.
