    First off Welcome!  Sweet ride!

I would recommend Revive Hand Polish then.  It is a good paint cleaner too,
On the classic cars I work in ('60s muscle, down to pre-war race cars) Once the paint is in good shape (sounds like yours is) I clean the paint with Revive. then BG to add some extra "pop", and top with Americana Paste wax.  The BG is also great for chrome & windows, and can be applied over wax to get ready for a show.

tmevilsizor reacted to Rich in How to clean the Wash Sponge
Been using the wash sponge since it came out, and I like it, but I was having a hard time rinsing it out and getting all of the soap, etc out of it.  I use it mostly on my wheels so it has a good bit of wheel cleaner in it.  I found myself spraying and rinsing and rinsing and spraying and still couldn't get it totally free of suds. Plus, there was black on it too from the wheels and tires that just wouldn't come out.

So today after washing the car, I asked my wife to see what she could do with it.  She grabbed the Eco APC, gave the black marks a good spray, and disappeared into the house.  Now, this thing was loaded with product and I figured she'd bring it back frustrated that she couldn't get it clean.  5 minutes later, she comes back out with a white, product free sponge!

She figured out how to rinse it.  What she did was to scrub the black marks where she sprayed the Eco APC with her fingernails.  Then she ran the sponge under running water and kept squeezing. Then she figured out to keep the sponge under the running water, long side down, and just squeeze and push down, but keep the top part squeezed as she went down so that the gunk was rinsed out the bottom as she was pushing down.  The result was a perfectly clean, soap free sponge.

Leave it to a woman to figure stuff out when it comes to cleaning.

If the Camaro is that new, complain to GM. I'd leave out that you clayed it. They love to blame the customer

An uncontaminated fine grade clay bar does not scratch glass.

Thanks much, I'm proud of it for sure. Its an automatic, but finding a manual in as good of shape as this one was not going to happen for me. An auto transmission can be built the same as a manual, it only costs money lol.

I missed out on the last Limited Edition (only 200) Mystery Bucket. I am really hoping for another opportunity soon! The blue lid and graphic looked really nice. Any guesses on when this might happen? I'm hoping for the end of this week! Who else wants to get in on another LE Bucket?

Adam will most likely not be there unfortunately but Calvin and myself will be running the booth. I'd like to think we're pretty cool guys to hang out with as well ????
If you show up we'll be there, trailer/canopy setup will be under a building outside the Celeste center.

I would love to see 2 things. The first is a dedicated spray type water spot remover. They exist, but not Adam's quality. This one is a MUST! The second product I would like to see it s dedicated RUBBER/VINYL FLOORMAT protectant. Again, this product exists but not up to Adam's standards. I recently read a post regarding the maintenance of "Weathertech" floor mats. I really feel that this product would be a great seller! Just my .02. Take it for what it's worth.

These are brushes. They eventually wear out and will need to be replaced. They make the electric motor work. When your motor stops running, you will probably just need to replace these brushes. I think the majority of buffers come with replacement brushes.

I bought the longneck version mostly for when I am polishing wheels it will make it easier to reach everything with the longneck. This is a multi use tool for me as most of my equipment is. Polishing paint I dont know that it would make any difference if you buy the shortneck or the longneck.

Hi Greg, for tree sap and other stains in fabric tops - bird bombs, etc - I will spray some of our All Purpose Cleaner onto the affected area, let it soak for 30-60 seconds, and then gently scrub with our Cockpit Brush to help lift the sap. Then rinse very thoroughly with a steady stream from your garden hose and spray nozzle.

I agree its very hard to finish with a Flex and get the results you are looking for mainly because its so powerful. When I had my Flex I always had to finish with a Porter Cable.
