  1. Sorry, I can't offer any inputs for that car/paint, but she's a beauty and I look forward to future updates! 😎
  2. Well, we can't guarantee being around all of us won't lead to more purchases...but I can guarantee there's lots of great info and even better people on here. Enjoy, and ask any questions you have.
  3. Especially like the idea of the rubber edging. That's something Adam's should add to the design.
  4. This article has all you need to know about caring for your more expensive Microfiber towels. And heres a great video about the differences: Theres's nothing wrong with what you got, it's just they aren't as optimal for the Rinseless process. High quality towels are some of the most important parts of the detail process. Investing in them also means properly caring for them. You'll be happy you did both!
  5. For RW, Adam's Double Softs are the recommended ones to use. The cheap ones won't pick up dirt nearly as well, likely smearing it, and they can induce micro scratching as a result. Not recommended for paint, as you said, but they work just fine for door jams, engine bays, and wheels in my experience. The non-glass towels you got are 600 and 400gsm, while the Double Softs are 920gsm. Can't vouch for how the ones you got would work, but Adam's are softer. Even the SST are 800gsm, for comparison.
  6. Welcome back, Brad! Looks like you've been away from the forums for a while. It's good to see some other Springs folks on here! Agreed the warehouse is awesome. Love going up there.
  7. As if on queue, this was today's Water Cooler Wednesday video:
  8. Answers above have you covered. Here's a video of using WC on paint before the IR was released.
  9. Welcome to the addiction, Jason! Looking forward to reading what you got...or even better, seeing some pics posted in the MB thread.
  10. there now (as in consolation for @DanITD 😢😁)
  11. No, you don't NEED to clay or polish after using it. A blast of water will remove the IR residue leaving your bare surface. Then just wash the car as usual. But if you want to find out if clay would benefit you - and I bet you'll find it will - do the baggie test. First, rub your bare hand over the paint. You likely won't feel much besides just the surface. Now, place your hand inside a Ziploc bag and lightly rub over the same spot. Feel any bumps? Those are embedded contaminants the clay/clay mitt will remove. Clay can cause some marring in the paint, though, so just be aware if you decide to clay but don't plan to polish just yet. I don't know where you are in the country, but if it's winter weather there, you can just wait till spring to polish. Being a novice, I understand your reluctance to try something new. But honestly, don't be afraid to clay. It's a straightforward process that will pay dividends, even for a new car. Here's a video on using the the clay or clay mitt (my preference).
  12. right on *Thought about "right turn" but that could've turned into an infinite loop with @67's and @blcksilv08 😊
  13. Here's that thread. Nothing since July, but about 2/3 of voters said they'd use it. Anything new, @Kyle@Adams?
  14. Cool! Yeah, it's straightforward, but there may be instructions for the tips. Good deal for you!
  15. First, welcome! Recommend you give them a call directly to discuss potential distributorship. 866-965-0400. Good luck! P.S. Nice lookin' ride!
  16. Actually, I can't see the small tube that connects the water and soap to the gun portion. I see the tips, though, at the base of the canister.
  17. Looks like everything to me except maybe instructions.
  18. Andrew has you covered. For future reference, there's a whole thread dedicated to these sorts of things. Feel free to post there anytime! 😂
  19. Several differences. The Eco version has no iron activator, an eco-friendly formula, and a MUCH better smell are a few. More can be found on the product page: https://adamspolishes.com/shop/exterior/wheels-tires/adam-s-eco-wheel-cleaner-16oz.html
  20. I've had it happen with normal DS, too, and that was the carnuba. Wouldn't be surprised if the flavored ones are a combo of the carnuba and flavor/scent additives. As you've said, good shake and back to normal. BTW, the new HGG doesn't separate near as much, if at all, like the old formula.
