  1. If no TRC available, Eco APC will work. So will isopropyl alcohol if neither are in your arsenal yet. @pirahnah3 also gave a great tip on VRT before you clay, polish, etc.; you'll be glad you did it because polish, etc. always seems to get on the trim.
  2. Oh, and if you want a great place for family breakfast, the Denver Biscuit Company comes highly recommended. https://denbisco.com Just go hungry...and ready to run after. Or take a nap.
  3. Good thing is they're pretty good at shipping stuff, too. ?
  4. This really sucks, Ryan. It's also screaming out to be added to the Don't Dos thread...feel free to contribute!
  5. Welcome to the addiction, Charles! Couldn't agree more with above...and yes, let's see some pics of your ride/s.
  6. Welcome to the addiction, Andy! Great to have another soon-to-be convert along for the shine.
  7. Welcome to the addiction, James! Were you able to pick up the Canada DS?
  8. You can stop in whenever they're open, M-F, 8-5; Sat, 9-2. It's just off I-25, exit 219. Be sure to spell out "North Valley Highway" in your phone's GPS or you may not get the right directions. You'll see the big logo from the interstate calling like a beacon of light! They've been known to cater a bit to out of town visitors, so consider giving them a call before you head over and someone might just be waiting to give a guided tour. And have your wallet ready and space available in your trunk! Well worth a visit. Enjoy!
  9. It would be ironic if a light was in it. Well done on the search and rescue! ?
  10. The two tips are supposed to be for high (yellow green) or low (purple) water pressure. Try filling it about 3/4 full with warm water, then add 3-4 ounces of CS. Close the lid, swirl it around, and spray. Once done, pour any remaining soapy water from the gun into your wash bucket so you don't waste it. Sure, you can start with 1/3 full...I guess that would be about 1-2 ounces of CS? Remember, you won't get thick, foamy suds like the Foam Canon. It's just not made to do that.
  11. They have you covered above, and the tip from @ZMAN024 and @Nickfire20 about VRT before you clay, polish, seal, wax is spot on. Where you from in WV?
  12. I've said it several times on here...Adam's needs to make a video on what goes into the making of Mystery Boxes and Buckets. That would help answer a lot of questions. And for anyone still skeptical, agreed with @Rich...I've seen it first-hand. They create the boxes/buckets, usually several varirties of each, box them up, stack them, then pull from the stack as they ship. They really don't have any idea on who gets what. Here's a pick of MBs waiting to go...
  13. What process/product are you using to clean them? They can be cleaned the same way and get equally clean by using the MRB and the tips outlined here:
  14. You bet! I've said more than once it should be mandatory reading for any new member, and even a good refresher for those of us that have been around for a while. Post up some pics when you get done...would live to see the results.
  15. I came here to add almost this exact same comment... Heard someone mentioned just this evening a latex glove wipe down, with either the glove or seat a little wet...sorry, don't remember which one...will essentially roll the pet hair into a rope. Guess you move little by little and doesn't take long at all. Never tried it, but the guy swore by it with white pet hair on black interior.
  16. Welcome, Derek! Great to have you along for the shine! Good lookin' car.
  17. Might've been me, but wax doesn't bond to paint, nor do glazes. Sealants do, however. Here's the article I love to reference that has more details.
  18. Blueberry in the link, apple as the scent? Good catch...but maybe they're just trying to be oirginial?! ?
  19. C'mon, Jason. You can't keep that kind of a beauty a secret! Let's see more pics of the shine!!
  20. I'll offer a different view. As a general rule, the most durable products are layered first. In this case, that would be the HGG then Americana. You can switch them, but you may not get the appearance or durability you're after. Here's more on the differences between products and layering, too.
