enoch7fa got a reaction from Nickfire20 in Brilliant glaze! it is now a keeper!!!
I was giving all my Brilliant glaze away to my nephew because I really couldn't find a use for it.  With the way most sealants and waxes now add so much gloss I just didn't have a use for the stuff and I had tons of it from mystery boxes.  after reading post on brilliant glaze for cleaning windows I finally decided to give it a shot.  let me tell you I felt like calling my nephew up and saying april fools and give me my stuff back.  I first tried it on some windows one mourning after I did a interior detail on my car and it got late and I couldn't do the windows and there was cleaner and dressing on the side windows and windshield.   got tired of it and I had some brilliant glaze in car and some window towels I left in car.  before pulling out for work I applied some to driver window in a big spot and some to windshield in front of me at top of window, drove a few blocks and stop sign I wiped it off and bam!!!! clean!!.  so today I was doing a exterior detail on same car and I used it on my windows, my last step.  the front windshield was extra dirty so I did use wind cleaner first I didn't know weather that was too much.  but I applied it to all my exterior windows and let me tell you they were clean and streakless.  I can honestly say this was the best window cleaning I have done in the little over 2 years I have been detailing.  why didn't you people tell me I could use this stuff like this!!  some of you said that you use it on windows but not as your main window clean but you sounded like it was something you used after you cleaned the windows.   if you haven't tried this for cleaning your windows you should give it a shot.  only question I have is can you use brilliant glaze on a real dirty window.  oh and also can I apply a glass sealant over this stuff without any loss of durability.

yo everyone!  I did call adams and talked to one of the guys, cant remember his name.   when I asked was he aware of my post he actually said yes, I was surprised even though I was trying to get some attention to this problem.  I am not here to just bash adams on this I was just so disappointed cause I wanted this to work good and I also do not want anyone else to go through a bad product or a application process that needs to be better.  anyway, we talk about it and instead of  telling me about remedies that may or may not work he said there has been a lot of serious discussions on application and they are going more than likely update the video and instructions on the ceramic glass sealant.   I do not want to say here what they are going to change bout the application because they are still discussing it.  I just urged him to let them know to do it quick so others do not go through this since right not it is not a easy fix, my glass is still messed up.  so thanks adams for listening and I await what you officially have to say on this subject.  until then I will not use this product on my cars or customers.

no real update yet.  I am waiting to see any advice adams can give me.  starting to think I am being ignored.  every so often go grab a towel and go out side and rub on a spot on my wife's windshield in one spot for about  5 or 6 minutes to get the ceramic glass sealant off.  I have come to realize even if I get all the high spots off the glass is still very foggy.  the only thing I can do now is get some good glass polish grab my DA and do some glass polishing.  really let down by this and I see no announcement from adam about this issue I see other having.  not feeling real good about  adams right now if they dont start warning people and pulling this product until it is improved they are just hopping to take peoples money.  sorry but that is how I see it.

I tried ceramic glass coating and it sucks getting it off!!!   my wife car is my ceramic car I use only the ceramic stuff on it, so when the ceramic glass coating came out of course I got it.   I got several a&b packs and a kit.  figured I might be able to sale a few applications to customers.  boy am I glad I did it on my wife's car first.  I watched the video at least 10 times,  I read direction 5 times.  I figured ok got it.  my wife's car is very new but I cleaned the glass anyway ( glass cleaner, plastic razor blade, clay bar that came with kit,  surface prep) then I applied the a and b wipes the way instructions told me.   GETTING THAT STUFF OFF WAS CRAZY!!! AND AFTER A FULL HOUR TRYING TO GET IT OFF IT IS STILL THERE!!!  I used up all the glass cleaner it came with , used up a forth of a aerosol can and then I got another stronger glass cleaner from another detail product maker I had and I cant get this stuff off.   I usually drive my wife's car to church and get customers looking at it but this time I am parking in the back, way in the back.    Trying to remove the haze is almost impossible.  I have to get up in the mourning and try again.  I live in California maybe someone from the Anaheim store can bring a blow torch and help out.  This product is not ready for release I dont care what anyone says.  I have wasted my time and money after all the rubbing I have done and still have to do there want be any rain repellency left.  the boys in the lab have let me down this time big time.  someone should have said the removal was this tough I really done know if I can get all the product off without removing the effect sheesh there needs to be a recall on this junk!!!  I am pretty mad.  I say pull this from selling till it is perfected.  go ahead delete my post I know you will and let others walk right into this.

I am sorry adams but I get a little down and feel the company is out of touch with regular people sometimes when you make a video these days on a new product.  you talk about applying inside or in shade or leaving it somewhere away from anything for hours.  Most of use live in the real world we either do out detailing outside  whether for pay or ourselves.  So can the spray coating be applied outside?  if I put it on a customers car and they pick it up do I just say keep away from water for a day 2 if possible or must they park it and leave in a garage for couple days.  if I cant use it on a customers car and just say not washing or water from a day then I dont know if this product will be from me.  feel scared to use it on my own car. I feel you need to make a video using it on a car that is NOT coated and what I can layer on it if I want or can I double coat it.  try to remember us people who dont park in garages and drive cars daily when making a product. just saying.

enoch7fa got a reaction from MikeSoFlo in ceramic boost, why are you guys keeping secrets???
I was turned off to ceramic boost.  the first formula seemed very limited.  I tried it once and the experience sucked.  I got a couple bottles from mystery boxes and thought what a waist. then I read on forums that they improved the formula.  now you can use it on glass and trim, wet and dry.  I was chatting with a adams employee who told me he uses as a detail spray.  I was still hesitant.  I chatted this mourning with adams people again.  chandler told me what I heard was true about new formula and it works great.  he told me to wash car, he blows car off of 80% of water and the goes to town on everything exterior.  I decided to try it on my daughters car.  I washed car, misted car with detail spray and broke out the leaf blower got just about all the water off.  now came it was the time.  I was a little nervous.  I grabbed a couple micro towels and took a leap of faith and went to town!!  I started the first panel with spraying the boost on it working it on surface with one towel then using the other to buff it off.  at first I was ready to call chandler some names behind is back, it was coming off hard.  couple more swipes and I noticed the more I buffed it the slicker the paint got and the shinier it got. spraying it seemed a little wasteful so I ran to garage and grabbed a applicator.  spray on applicator and rub on surface buff to a " don't lean on my car shine you might slip off " was so much fun I will confess I rubbed more than I had too, kept trying to see how I can get this car to pop like crazy.  the windows were easy, and the effect on the trim was amazing. it shined and darkened like I used trim restorer.  I was tempted to take it inside to see what it would do lol.  the glass shined, the trim shined the chrome shined.  shined and sealed in one hit.  after using on my daughters jeep I only used maybe a quarter of the bottle and since I used this bottle to test on another car I could see it would last a while.  after a while the applicater was wet with boost and so I had only to give a small spray on it before next panel or surface and it kept going and going.  boost is now officially my favorite right now.  WHY ARE YOU GUYS KEEPING IT A SECRET??? WHERE ARE THE VIDEOS????

Good Lord it is hard to give people only what they pay for!!  please pray for me that i stop over selling too much.  someone wants a 20 dollar wash, vacuum, interior wipe down and tire dressing, should take me half hour to 45 minutes.  they  tell me to take my time.   you know the story car hasn't been washed in months i just cant let a car leave my driveway with out a certain level a clean sheesh!!  am i a addict? a shine junkie? a gloss freak? i think i am going to start a support group before i stop making a profit.  dont laugh!!!  how come no one told me!!!!! detailing is a disease no unlike drugs or alcohol!!!  and dirty tires?? i can let a customer leave with half clean tires every tire i see that is not spotless i feel the urge to give it a wheel detail!!!  my customers try to help me they say " cedric we appreciate the effort buy i only want a wash and here if 50 bucks more for a little extra spruce up and cleaning "  i say no problem but if they leave with less than 130 dollar detail i will be surprised.  i had to call one customer and beg him to come get his car so i could quit rubbing on it. no lie!!  if i rubbed on my wife as much as i rub on cars my marriage would be a lot better sheesh!!  only good thing is i picked up 4 customers this weekend of people who were walking or driving by at being of washes and came back by to see results.  my plan is working, i didn't want to really get into driving a rig around i wanted to be a neighborhood car washer and detailer and it is working out great.

Any one else having this too much over selling problem?
anyone else having success like me and my plan of having customer bringing their car to my place? what is your plan? sometimes i wish i never got it in my head to start washing my own car.

one more thing i am going to post some picks here again of outside details again tell me how you think the rookie is doing. and post some picks if you can.  also tell me what you did to car example:  exterior detail -  topped with  paint sealant, glaze, patriot wax, buttery wax or   exterior detail -  wash and wax  etc etc.  thanks

Shane i get everything you say.  all true, i have been doing my friends and family cars since i started going into this.  most for free.  washing , wax, wheel detail, etc, etc,  i get paid now.  got neighborhood business starting this is a pretty nice hood so i my do alright.  the polishing is something i haven't done for pay yet.  after practicing on family cars they don't seem to mind.  i see " good lord i need to work on that" they see " Boy!!! that looks fantastic!!!  lolol  hope they don't start watching utube.   but i want to me  a honest detailer and do a premium job specially in this neighborhood. so don't worry i am still practicing. but when i hear or see someone tell me something i am not sure about if they are telling the truth i gotta ask.  all the folk at adams specially Dan and Bianca must be tired of me by now.  so don't worry not getting in over my head but i just wanted to make sure the information i get if right.  my first real polishing job was on my own car.  it sat in the back yard collecting dust and dirt for months it was looking real bad people were asking was i going to sell it.  it is a 2008 Cadillac SRX.  i did it on purpose.  it was spotted with Los Angeles, California pollution if you live here you know that your car is dusted over with stuff 5 minutes after you detail it. tree sap, bird droppings, construction junk from neighbors.  For advertisement sake i drove that sucker out of the back and i can only call it a resurrection.  after the polish and a layer of buttery wax ( was going to seal it  but man the car won that fight) i learned a lot specially bout, ok ill admit it, SLING GOOD LORD IN HEAVEN EVERY TIME I THINK I HAD IT DOWN PACT SLING, i must have rubbed that car in couple hours more than all the cars i have washed put together getting sling off of it lolol, i looked like i was a orange spotted alien.  I had already decided unless it is family i want touch a blue pad or microfiber if it is that bad i will walk away.  for now.  so i am not getting in over my head learned that from guys on utube.   any way thanks again shane.
