That's my suggestion since nothing else seems.to be working, yes. And longevity is only an estimate, not a guarantee. Like I said, many factors are in play that could affect it. It could also be the coating on the sides wasn't applied the same leading to different performance over time. If you don't feel like doing it all now, work panel by panel over a few days or even weeks. Compound and blue foam pad should remove it, then Surface Prep it and reapply the coating. As much time as you're investing in it trying to fix it, you could just redo it with a little more time and be happier. But it's your decision.

OK. Was not sure what could happen to the product over time.   I have not seen any visible issues as I was able to shake and use.

I think I am just going to mess around on this vehicle the Adam way and do a panel completely and spray ceramic coat it.   Just do a panel or two  a week. I would switch to the full coating but don't want to burn through 10 applicators. LOL

I have a few bottles that are in the 3-5 year old range and like you all my chemicals are kept in a climate controlled room.  I always make sure I shake the bottles well before using and same for the gallons before putting any in smaller bottles.  I've found that a few products, like Paint Sealant and Revive Hand Polish, take more shaking than others to ensure they are well mixed.   I have not had any issues with how well they work.

Of course if the bottle is not sealed properly that will cause them to go bad or as you stated some of them to dry out.

After three days of driving in freezing rain and then just rain, most of the caked on salt is off the SS. Beading is back.  Extended forecast is calling for temps in the upper 40’s to low 50’s next week.  I CANT WAIT!!!

I just noticed the wheels and exhaust pipes look clean. Dang, that coating is the shizz!

The good family news is that the family is growing.   This weekend, plus a couple of days, was a fun filled event for my oldest daughter and her husband who had their baby shower.   This will be our first grandchild and we are most certainly looking forward to the family growing.  We'll be expecting our grandchild around Christmas and with any luck our son-in-law won't get deployed between now and the arrival.   In celebration we hosted about 30 guests for an extended weekend and everyone had a great time with the family and friends that hadn't all been together since their wedding about 10 years go.

Along with the daughter being spoiled, the wife's new custom shed arrived on Saturday.  We did have to ask our daughter if the child was going to look like her, since the wife's shed looks like a child of my garage.  Hard to believe the wife's new shed is a 10x12 and could fit through my door since it is only 8' 9"  high.   It will end up being a true She Shed, fully insulated, plywood walls and whatever else she wants for her storage and plant stuff.  I'm not sure if it will get heat and air, but it is already wired, so I know it will have power.

I need to get the interior completed, skirting put on, flower boxes under the windows and whatever else the wife wants, so it will make for a nice winter project in addition to spoiling the first grandchild.

Looking forward to warmer weather. This is the SS after I got home from the office Friday night.

We’ve had a blizzard and two additional snow events since January 12. Here’s a pic from the ride into the office in the blizzard. This is in town. Visibility in the country on the way in was greatly reduced compared to this view.

I was all by my lonesome in the office that day.

The following Sunday morning was -14*F (-26*C). If I wasn’t ushering 8 AM service I’d have stayed home. Attendance was half of the usual attendance.

I’m not worried about our vehicles as they’ve both sporting Advanced Graphene Spray Coating topped with Ceramic Boost under all that salt.

BTW: winter tires are fantastic! No matter what I drive next I will have winter tires for it.

@chops1sc  You do have a garage less than 2 hours away if you want to use it.   As @falcaineer stated the key is keeping the weather off it for the most of the day.  If you have a canopy, you can put the vehicle under it to protect it from the sun, dew, rain or whatever else might fall in the SC.   I used the canopy model a few times for larger vehicles and it was all about picking a light wind day with a near zero chance of rain.

You are also welcome to head to my place and we can do the polishing and coating together if you'd like to do that.

    Hi Al,
What I like for the true garage queens that rarely go out is the original Ceramic Paste Wax.  While it does not quite produce the visual appeal of Americana or Patriots, it still looks great and it will last a year on a true garage queen.   You can blow the dust off the car using your air cannon or even you compressor using a wide blower and that is the part the I like so much about the original Ceramic Paste Wax.

When you do take the car out and you want it to pop, just go over it with some Brillaint Glaze and it will shine and look outstanding.

I've had this container for close to 4 years and probably done 25 vehicles and have enough for another 50 or so or another 10 years worth.  If you dont have any see if someone will trade with you.  The liquid ceramic wax isn't the same as the original Ceramic Paste Wax and one important point, very little wax goes a long way.

Thanks Ray, and I know exactly what you speak of.  This is my second set of the same tire (but an updated body style).  The fronts on the first set were horrendous.  Blotchy is the best word I can think of.  They were horrible and I never could fix them.  Tried everything.  Rolled the dice again and got four excellent ones this time.  All four on this set look this good and even.

Hi Chris, just a reminder that pollen season is only two months away and I know Sumter gets the pollen just as bad as the Lexington side of Columbia.

I know that every tire has a personality. Not every cleaner nor every dressing works the same on every tire.  Rubber composition and such makes a difference. BUT…there is nothing on this tire but Tire & Rubber Cleaner.  Zero tire shine nor other product. I don’t think the picture captures it, but it’s amazing. Nothing else but T&RC, and it’s perfect.  No slinging, no grime sticking to it, the perfect sheen…I’m done.  No other product needed…thanks for applying.

@Rich Actually I have trying to determine if I should go with traditional wax or a coating on the Barbie car.   As for a Mustang, she has to wait until she's 17 - I figure if a Mustang Convertable was good enough for my duaghter to drive to school her senior year at 17, it should be good enough for my grand daughter.  Of course If @falcaineer would tell Mary that I should get another Mustang to restore, I could get started on it now - Mary always agrees with whatever Chris says I should get.
