I prefer to use the grey MF pads. Yellow hex grip (color coded for BG) will work, too, and is the same foam as the red hex. The Adam's grey or red foam pads on a machine work well, too.

The grey MF applicator is the way to go, if you're applying by hand. I like the rectangular shape. The corners help you get into odd spaces easily. Keep in mind a little goes a long way, so you'll be able to cover more area than you think. A thorough shake of the bottle, a liberal squeeze on the applicator (spread out to the edges) and you'll be able to do the entire hood, roof, or door panel and fender before reloading.

Red hex grip or microfiber sponge applicator
or red foam on a machine, it goes on very thin, a little goes a long way

It's pretty thin...watery is a decent description. Just make sure to shake the bottle well before use as the solvents raise to the top over time. It won't be thick like a wax or sealant given its chemical makeup.

Again, like Rich said. If it wasn’t chalky before you used the product, then you’ve wiped away all the oil, grease, and dirt built up. You need to add leather conditioner to the dash and panels to rejuvenate them. If you don’t, it will become more susceptible to damage later.

Hey Brandon, Brandon here. Sweet truck! My brother had the same rims on his 01 Duramax. They never looked that good though.

I've had good luck with VRT not running after it rains. As stated above, apply the VRT and let it set for a couple minutes. Come back with a microfiber towel and knock it down. Prior to applying it make sure to wipe the trim down with TRC to assure the best bond and look possible.

Well most protection is going to have an issue with streaking after rain from my experience. I am using VRT on my truck which is similar to yours. The bed caps do not seem to do that to bad if you apply the VRT and buff it down with a towel.
I am pretty liberal with everything else on the truck.
