BRZN got a reaction from kaj41354 in Wheel Cleaner Stained wheels? Any Fixes?
First try washing them again with a milder Wheel Cleaner, heck even just Car Shampoo may improve them. Dry them completely then use either Hand Polish if Clear Coated, or Metal Polish #2 if raw metal.

When using the Wheel Cleaner do only one wheel at a time, in the shade, when the wheel is cool, and do not let the product dry on the wheel. Rinse thoroughly after agitation.

The tire should clean up by scrubbing with Tire & Rubber Cleaner or TAR.

BRZN got a reaction from Dan@Adams in Adams Waterless Wash - number of "washes" per 16 oz.
I sometimes use Waterless wash after I two bucket wash a vehicle and blow it dry. The Waterless Wash removes any drips the blower left.

As others stated above, it all depends on how dirty the vehicle is, and it's size. A Fiat 500 or a Cadillac Escalade? I buy by the gallon.

Level both Spray Coatings on trim; Ceramic Spray Coating and the new Graphene Spray Coating. By leveling you'll minimize the chance of a chalky appearance to the trim.

I've got 12 bottles in inventory at the Carlisle Fairgrounds and they are as thin as you state Sandalwood. They were like that when they arrived to me from headquarters.

Factory tinted glass go ahead, no problem. I don't use Brilliant Glaze on tint film. The solvent in the Brilliant Glaze will break down the adhesive holding the film to the glass. Ray, I'd say you've been pretty lucky to this point!

I've found if I have too much of a build up of certain products on the paint surface I'll get linting. Detail Spray, Spray Wax, even Americana or Patriot. Do a Strip Wash and Clay the vehicle as Falcaineer mentioned above.

We'll be spread out over two yards with about as many tables and chairs as we normally have in one yard. The beverage selections will be less, with my Team members wearing masks and gloves; handing out, or pouring the drinks. I'll have tape lines on the driveways at six foot intervals leading to the food and drink. Those serving food will be in masks and gloved.

Those attending will need to be smart enough to social distance themselves from others, this I can not control.

We've done three shows now, with me at a fourth and the Carlisle Import & Performance Nationals this coming weekend we'll be at. To date, none of my Team members have become ill.

It's a smaller version of the Ultra Plush Drying towel. I use them to dry the sides of vehicles. It's easier to keep the smaller towel from dragging on the ground by accident. I'll use them for wiping up Detail Spray as I clay a vehicle, and use them to dry a vehicle I'm Rinseless washing.

    Ford's last weekend was awesome!

I've noticed at each of the first three Carlisle events we've done this year, each show seems to have more and more folks wearing masks when they come into our booth. Again, all my staff are wearing masks. Even though, it can't be more than 1/4 of our customers with masks.

I checked with my guy for the Carlisle Events, if they've received notification of any folks that had been at the first two events coming down with COVID, his answer was no.

Adam still plans to be at Corvettes from Thursday through Saturday, and we're finalizing our plans for the customer appreciation party. I'm spreading us out in two yards this year, and will have my staff handling the beverages so there won't be many hands touching anything.
Marcello's for food and DJ Matt will be there again.

BRZN got a reaction from IAcamoprincess01 in Spring Detail of the Wife's Daily
With quite a bit of time on my hands right now I took care of my wife's Daily, a 2012 1LT Camaro in Ashen Gray Metallic. The Tire/Wheel swap is usually done after April 15, and the detail over Memorial Day weekend, but, well, I'm bored and now a bit ahead.

Broke out the Quick Jack, and removed the winter tire/wheel set up

I used my MTM Undercarriage Cleaning Tool, connected to my Pressure Washer to blast all the winter from under the car. Now, with the wheels off, it gave me a great opportunity to clean the inner fender wells and suspension. I lowered the car a couple years ago with a set of Pfadt Lowering Springs and it's now hard to get in the wheel wells with a brush with the Tires/Wheels on. Tire & Rubber Cleaner in a Foaming IK Sprayer, a couple different brushes and they came out about as good as new.

I dried everything with my Master Blaster Revolution, prepped with Surface Prep and applied a nice coat of Ceramic Spray Coating to help keep things clean.

Cleaned the engine bay; All Purpose Cleaner, the Pressure Washer, and the Master Blaster

Summer Tire/Wheel set up back on

Winter Tire/Wheels scrubbed clean, Tire Armor on the Rubber and Ceramic Spray Coating over top the previously applied Ceramic Wheel Coating. 24 hours later Ceramic Boost on the wheels, and they're now stacked in the basement until next winter.

The Weather Tech floor mats were scrubbed with Tire & Rubber Cleaner, allowed to dry, then prepped and hit with Ceramic Spray Coating and Ceramic Boost to come back looking like new.

    On to the car...
Summer Tire/Wheel set up on and dropped her off the Quick Jack
Mega Foam, Foam Cannon and my Pressure Washer

A nice two bucket wash with Car Shampoo using the Gray Microfiber Wash Mitt
Blow Dry with my Master Blaster, followed with a wipe down with Waterless Wash.
Did a baggie test, she needed Clayed. I had a small spot of rust in the left rear wheel arch taken care of in January, and evidently there was over-spray on the paint. The car has Adam's 9H Ceramic Paint Coating with the UV Tracer on it, but the fine paint dust still had stuck. Fine Grade Clay quickly took care of what was on the paint. A Rinseless Wash mixed as Waterless Wash removed the Detail Spray residue from claying.

I polished the left rear quarter panel, A Pillar, and C Pillar where the paint work had been done. I also had to re-polish the trunk lid. It appeared the body guy had sat something on the trunk that left some light scratches. There was also a light scuff on the right rear wheel arch that needed removed.
    Tools:
SK 15mm Pro and SK Mini
    Microfiber Pads
    Blue Foam Pads
    White Foam Pads
    Compound
    Polish

LSP, I'm trying something different, a bit of various product comparisons.
Left Rear Quarter Panel, A Pillar, C Pillar, Trunk Lid, Rear Spoiler, Side Mirrors, spot on the Right Rear Wheel Arch I repaired, and the Flat Horizontal  piece of the front bumper below the headlights got the new Ceramic Coating Wax.
The Roof, Right Side A Pillar, C Pillar and Flat surface of the Right Rear Quarter Panel got the Liquid Ceramic Wax.
The Hood, Tops of the Front Fenders, and Top of the Front Bumper got the original Version 1 of the Ceramic Paste Wax.
All the rest of the vehicle was left alone, with just the Ceramic Paint Coating applied last Fall.

The car was wiped down with CS3 after I pulled it out of the garage, and the wheels wiped down with Matte Detailer. The Tires have a few coats of Tire Armor on them I'd applied last Fall after I pulled them for winter storage.

The Stainless Steel exhaust Tips were taken care of with Metal Polish #2

The Interior was completely Detailed too. I wiped all hard surfaces down with the Eucalyptus Mint Interior Detailer with Microban. The Clean Cotton Odor Neutralizer was sprayed through the HVAC system and the New Fabric Protector was applied to the cloth seats.

Here's another I just finished yesterday.
This 2007 daily driven 120,000 mile Dodge Magnum sits outside 24/7/365 wearing it's original paint in the pictured locations..
I polished the hood and roof using only Adam's new Compound; first with the Microfiber Pad, then followed with the New Blue Foam Pad. SK-Pro 15mm machine.

The depth and gloss are incredible, look at all the metallic coming through in the paint. How about the reflection clarity of the neighbors house in the last pic? No need to follow up with the Polish and White Foam Pad on this color, the Compound finished down just fine.
FYI; There is Ceramic Coating on the paint.

There were still a fair amount of vendors in the Mid Way for both Spring Carlisle and the Chrysler Nationals. I was told show field registrations were only down by about 25% for both the Chevy Nationals and Chrysler Nationals. A lot of folks are still coming out.

Pics from the Chrysler Nationals about 3/4 the way up the hill. There's no where near the attendance at this show than there is at Corvettes

The Adam's Carlisle Team has been at Spring Carlisle, and on the Fairgrounds from June 15 through June 20, at the Chrysler National's on the Fairgrounds from July 8 through July 12. One of my Team members and I were at the Chevy National's June 26 and 27. The Carlisle Events staff has followed the CDC recommendations really well, none of my 13 Team members, nor I have gotten ill. Be safe, and be smart: wear a mask, social distance, avoid groups of people and you should be fine. This virus doesn't fair well outside in the sunlight and summer heat. A light breeze will carry it away.

We're still planning our annual customer appreciation party Friday evening outside the Fairgrounds, starting around 6:00. I'll have two tents set up in two yards this year so we can spread out. Adam will be in also.

BRZN got a reaction from stalebreadjr in Water Spots No Matter What in Texas Summer?
I washed the wife's daily yesterday on the driveway, in direct sun with the temp right at 90, with little to no water spotting. Oldest daughter gets married this afternoon, car needs to look its best! The shade on the driveway in the pictures wasn't there until I was done. I pulled it there to Boost the wheels and plastic trim, apply Tire Armor to the tires, and polish the exhaust tips.

    Rinse the car down
Foam with Foam Cannon. or Foam Gun - leave the foam on the vehicle
Two bucket wash with your choice of Adam's PH neutral Car Shampoos - do not rinse until completely done washing, let the soap dry on the paint
    Rinse entire vehicle
I then rinse with Reverse Osmosis filtered water. The RO filtered water has almost no minerals left in it and if it dries on its own, drys almost completely clear with no spotting.
    Dry with an Air Cannon
Wipe down any remaining soap residue with Waterless wash, or apply H2O Guard & Gloss using the Dry Method

I agree with Chris. Do things right the first time. One coat is enough. Look over your work with the UV Flashlight and take care of any spots you'd missed. Multiple coats is a waste of time, effort, money in my mind.

BRZN got a reaction from Mike E. in Which Foam Cannon?
As I put in the post just above yours:

The key to longevity with a Foam Cannon is to run clear water, using the pressure washer, through the thing after every use to keep the internals clear of soap. The soap will dry inside plugging the thing up.

The first Foam Cannon I had years ago stopped working properly. I disassembled it and found there to be a wad of course stainless Steel/Steel Wool inside, near the air flow dial. I'd not been rinsing this one out after use and it was clogged with dried soap. I soaked the wadding (once removed) in hot water and APC for several hours to clean the dried soap out, put it back together and it's still working fine today. I bought one of the MTM PF22.2 Foam Cannons when Adam released them a couple years ago, it's still working fine.
