Too me, the main body doesn't look much smaller then the porter cable? Any side by sides out there.

12/15/2017 is Canadian having issues, keep getting a screen saying some about download this software?Has the site been hacked, anyone know?

I tried to get some to last weekend and he wasn't offering them.so didn't even follow up with my $500 order I had. The sites also way outdated with a bunch of missing product.luckily I live in Windsor so I'm going to order from the US site from now on and ship it to Detroit and go get it myself
Have you looked at Show and Shine? Don is the owner and that's were I buy. He is near you in Tecumseh (spelling) great fellow to deal with!

My guess, and from experience, the fine scratches came from the orange pad. A good grade of stainless steel shouldn't scratch from cheap microfiber towels. The orange foam is the most aggressive in Adam's line and can leave some marring of its own. I'll follow up from the orange with either a blue metal polish foam pad, a blue microfiber applicator, or a blue hex grip applicator to remove any marring left behind by the orange.
Metal Polish #2 to maintain; correct.
Thanks for reply BRZN.
I'll give the ideas a try.

Correct. They work great actually... but once they've been used for MP I would keep them for that job alone.
I usually retire my old paint pads to metal polishing duty when they're a little ragged around the edges.
I tell you that metal polish 1 & 2 work great! I did use the orange for #2 and white for #1, also did the "forbidden" cheap micro wipe and do have fine scratches in stainless pipes on bike. Would be from orange pad or micro (cheap) ?
You have to be in the perfect light and angle so I'm not really concerned more curious.
Now in the video Adam mentioned #2 to maintain is this correct?

Without the blue metal polish pad 4", could one use the orange and white for metal polishes 1 & 2 ??

Was a good event today, great to see Don and meet Steve and other at the show.

oh ya..... great looking car. How long did you work at it?
-
Ouch. Never fun... but less on learned, right?
Yes two lessons actual both of which I knew of and stated to my wife but forged on.
1) never polish angry.
2) wet sanding ( I should not be doing this).
And possibly a third, DD 95% is good enough!!

Ya that's right 2012 scion IQ which my wife decided to drag along the BBQ 3 feet worth!
4" pads and drill, micro fiber flex then white pad and flex 95% gone then I just had to go after this little "chip" to knock it down and with I say no more then six small strokes the deed was done.
While only a small dime size it still is a bad day. Played with the devil and I lost this one.

Wolfman, you are a crazy dude! In a good way! For someone new to detailing you have results of a seasoned pro and ideas flowing out of the head like water going over Niagara falls.
I think I can speak for the collective, you have great write ups that you are contributing here!
Thank, so much!

That car just talks to me .... nothing better then a well kept paint surface !!!

Is the porter cable capable of taking advantage of the microfiber cutting power with the 4" pads, and if so what speed 4 or 5 would you use.
A pat on the back from me to me!
