It would be great to see a comparison between this new one and the older one I bought through Adams for $50. Old one does a fantastic job (great output/power) so I will likely stick with that one.

If you aren't planning on drying the whole car with the sidekick it is a fine tool. After getting the MB I rarely pull out the sidekick anymore.
 
As long as you realize the limitations you will be fine with it.

IMHO, don't waste your time with the 4 hp model unless you are drying motorcycles. I love.. Let me emphasize LOVE the 8 hp unit.

That's excellent news.  I think Adam's should stay up with advances such as coatings, particularly since there are a subset of brands on the market that do not take a professional to apply and give outstanding/long-lasting results.
 
We all have daily drivers that could use the extra protection that coatings offer, and I would absolutely jump onboard if it was added to the Adam's product lineup.

Can't wait for Adams to offer a coating as an alternative to sealant for even longer protection. Hopefully soon.

I miss the series by Dylan, so it would be great to get videos on tips/tricks and uses of products as well as the occasional behind the scenes look at the HQ.
 
Couldn't care less about cool cars or their back stories on an Adams site. I would stick to what makes Adams unique compared to your competitors which are your products and customer service. JMHO.

For cleaning out our cars I have a garage accessory kit that has attachments that go directly into our house central vac. Talk about power!! :-)

IMHO, using Adam's DS exclusively as a clay lube is not cost effective.  There are too many equally high quality products on the market, particularly available in concentrate, that does just as an outstanding job for much less money.

Only car shampoo for me. Until Adams offers detail spray in concentrate, it doesn't make financial sense compared to equal quality products out there.
 
Everything else would be obsolete/go bad before I could ever use a gallon of the product.

At least you don't organize shipping and ordering around the time your spouse is not home. I mean who does that ?!? ;-)

VRT is a water-based dressing, and I don't have an issue with dust attraction.
 
Thanks for putting this together Dylan.  I'm still very nervous about cleaning the engine bay, but the video has alleviated my fears somewhat.  While my engine is still stock I always worry about spraying water under the hood.  However, I will definitely check immediately under the hood after the next rain storm to verify what you say is true about the amount of water that accumulates (not that I don't believe you, but I'm curious). 

I try to be efficient, with the least pad swapping as possible to save on wear and tear of the Velcro backing.

I've always argued for a handful of Adams products that should be available in concentrate, including all purpose cleaner. Unfortunately, Adams will continue to lose my business on these select products until they make these available. I understand their philosophy about ready-made products with the 110% guarantee, but it simply isn't cost-effective compared to all the other equally high quality products available in concentrate out there. Just my opinion, for what it's worth.

Yeah, had been doing that for a while but got self-conscious about receiving Adams deliveries at work.  Shipping costs where usually lower than sending them to my house, but these days I wait for the bigger sales/low flat-rate shipping anyway.
