Aww man, I really liked the clean smell of the old interior detailer. Ill have to try this new one and hopefully the mint smell is not too strong.

That brush will come in handy for the top of my truck. Ill admit sometimes I stand on the bed rail of the truck to reach the all of the top, and thats not very safe especially when wet.

What goal are you looking to achieve? I have heard you can use pads and some prodcuts to do it, but I personally have had great luck with just #0000 steel wool over either detail spray or glass cleaner.

I wanted to acknowledge your fine accomplishment of finishing your schooling and earning a nursing degree. I wish you the best in life, you're going to make one hell of a nurse.

    Congrats Bud you did it!

I should have posted this last week but I got busy.

The new aerosol does wonders to reduce streaks, I use it in conjunction with the semi-hated microfiber Adam's glass towels (I like them) and find the paring to work great on exterior glass. I should note that it isn't recommended on tint due to some of the chemicals in it. As noted above, #0000 Steel Wool will buff down the exterior like you've never seen, knocks out wiper tracks with ease.

Interior glass I clean with the normal Adam's Glass cleaner and normal towel (green or blue), but then follow up with a coating of brilliant glaze and my glass ends up looking better than I've even gotten it  before.

Darn it Greg, now I have to go to a Starbucks for a pump..... wonder if I can just talk them out of a pump with out buying the coffee stuff...

Yes, I live in the Pacific north West and am not a fan of coffee...

I always had issues with the liquid glass cleaner.

Try the aerosol. I get just as much out of a can as I did a bottle, and the can costs less.

I'd say give it a few more uses and check for any more "hair loss" . Mine (long bristle version, but still...) stopped losing them after only the second or third use, so hopefully you'll get the same result. If not, I'm certain Adam's will take care of you.

Changed the pads and rotors on the front. Haven't used another car or light pole as a brake. I'd call that a success.

Don't apply any water to the car until absolutely necessary. Here's a basic outline of the process of recommend:

    1) Clean wheels, tires, wheel wells and exhaust tips first, spraying only those areas
    2) Foam Gun/Canon (if you have one...and if not, get one!) the entire car with Adam's (pH neutral) CS or W&W. If it dries on the car, no worries. The soap will NOT harm your car.
    3) Wash car with Adam's sponge/pad/mitt, only using the soap and water that's in the cleaning tool
    4) Now, hose rinse the car, and start the clock to get it dry
    5) Dry with DS as a drying aid, using either of the drying towels; HGG is another awesome option to dry, seal up and add shine!

I like option B, the replica Camaro SS Style are almost too like the stock wheels on your SS already.

I think everyone has you covered for an answer, but be careful using Adam in the videos as a gauge of how much product to use, he can get a little product happy.

Picked up a used Lawn Boy rear bagging lawn mower (no more raking for me), starts pretty easy, has a interesting drive system, spring loaded handle controls the speed so it keeps pace with you. Now I want the grass to grow some to give it a workout.

Thanks Joe, after putting up the pics I realized I hadn't counted in awhile. I apparently have 50 razors with what's shown and the one I had in the stand in the bathroom.

These are mostly vintage Gillettes (Super Speeds, Slim Adjustables, a Black Beauty, a Fatboy in it's case and a Toggle, plus some older Techs, Old Types and a couple News). There are a few Schicks (Black and Silver tip Kronas) and some new offerings from RazoRock.

I have the collector gene so I have several, currently I have around 850 Blu-ray/DVD Movies and TV shows, am ever growing Pop Vinyl Collection and 35ish Double Edge Safety Razors (primarily vintage Gillettes). I did have around 230 1/18th Diecast cars, but that was getting out of hand and they are gone now.

I guess the keeping clean vehicles goes without saying on this site.

For the background, choose something that compliments the car(s) in its "native" format. Think a Jeep on a dirt road...or a Prius by an electric substation .

Watch for anything "growing" out of the car, like light poles.

Backgrounds can also make it appear the car is split in half, so be careful. Curbs are an example if the pic is taken at the right (read: wrong) angle.

Good lighting is important, with pics at sunrise and sunset providing especially nice effects.

Pics taken from ground level looking up at the car gives a pretty sweet result. Different than the usual "looking straight at the car" picture.

Check out manufacturer websites for some other ideas. They have pros take them...and we buy the cars as a result!

Looking forward to your results (hint, hint!).
