I use Adams leather conditioner quite often on my leather seat with no problems being slippery.
Harley might use better leather that what I am used to. Mine is a Honda Shadow and it would just make the seat a little slick for a bit. I just used the leather cleaner from then on so it stays matte.

No tire shine on the tires. It makes the bike want to slip when it's cornering.
No leather conditioner on the seat or grips (if they are leather covered). Lots of sliding around.
If the bike has spoke rims, don't use any power tools on them. Such items like the Turbo stick will work well for a minute but if it gets caught in between where the spokes cross, it'll yank it hard enough to damage it.
Just some things I learned from the first time I cleaned my bike.

Welcome Nic! What area of SD are you from? I spent a week in Rapid City/Deadwood. Beautiful country out there.

I opened my trunk and pulled out my Adams detail bag and let them see and smell .
I love the fact that we tend to not only show off how well the products work, but also how great they smell!

Put me down for one when they come back Dan. I keep watching. Can't believe I missed it because I figured it was a sticker. Pays to read.
I'm also in for one.

You sure?
Look at the size difference...
I was going to suggest Photoshop...

Here's a pic of mine taken with a friend a few years ago. Mine's the one on the right...
Darn, the scandal of the year has fizzled out.
P.S. I really like that color!

Three cars in the driveway. Not one of them orange.
The plot thickens...

Waaiiit a minute. Is your profile pic the model, too, and those are just tiny little trees?! I'll be darned if I get fooled 3 times.
Plot twist: BRZN doesn't own a GTO, all his pictures are of the model.

Huh, I think the Bissell does a great job. Here's a before and after shot using Adams carpet and Upholstery Cleaner, a brush, and a Bissell. Not that an extractor wouldnt be nice but for the money.......
The Bissell is so good, it pulled the rubber mat right off the carpet!
In all seriousness, I use what looks like the same Bissell and it works great for what I need it to do.

Would be nice to have something on the home page that tells us how many people are signed in to the chat room (e.g. X users are currently in the chat room).
They do have that, it's at the bottom of the home page.

It usually starts around 9am or so, so make sure you wake up early or drive in the night before
We will also have a retail tent at the Carlisle Import & Performance Nationals that weekend, even closer to you! Setup day is Thursday and the show will run Friday through Sunday morning. I'm not sure if Adam will be in attendance at Carlisle yet, but Dave (BRZN on the forum) will be running the show at Carlisle
I'll be supporting at least one or both events too, possibly driving back and forth, lol.
I might just have to attend both. Thanks for the heads up!

I will definitely make the three hour drive for this.

Plural, as in Sk and SK Mini? That should be a really nice combo!
Well, I did say that and I meant it...right up until I saw a great deal on a used Cyclo in the Garage Sale Forum . I couldn't pass it up. I'm sure I'll be happy with it and I might still pick up the SK mini since the price was good.

Sorry I'm late to this thread. Lots of excellent ideas and explanations as far as logistics. Rich and Robert nailed it in that Adam's tries to hold several detail clinics throughout the year in various locations, but it can be difficult to coordinate things and still keep the day-to-day business operations running as well.
I'm in the Southwest PA region and would always be happy to help organize something informal somewhere in the area, either at my garage or some place else for a few people to hang out and learn, but it would be unofficial. I've had a few local forum members stop by over the last year or so on weekends, and I usually put them to work helping to clean my cars
Count me in if you do come up with something! I live in Central PA and would gladly make the trip out there.

I think this is a great idea. If Adam's dealers could run small, one day seminars or demos it would be quite a draw for me. To see a product in action before buying, learning new tips and tricks straight from a professional, and the ability to buy said products on the spot. I'd be interested in that.

Is it OK if I resurrect this one?

I completely agree. I made the switch about 2 years ago and absolutely love it. Smoother, closer, less razor burn, and cheaper. Can't beat that!
