    1. Buy a gallon of distilled water.
    2. Empty 8 oz out of the gallon.
    3. Pour in 8 oz of rinseless wash.
    4. Shake well and transfer to a Kwazar or your favorite spray bottle.
    5. Apologize for the terrible picture you took when you went to share this tip.

It's not exactly a gimmick.  Here was a test done with Dodo Juice waxes on their forum.  Now after a few months, the wax was still there, but the color was nearly gone.

Perhaps paint thinner. I would try clay first or perhaps buttery wax or brilliant glaze because they both contain solvents in them. Then you can also try going at it with a polish then compound. Remember to try the least aggressive method first.

A ladder is the safe way, but unless the car is lowered, you can just stand on the tires and hold on to a roof rail if the vehicle is equipped with them. As for polishing, that obviously wouldn't work, but washing, claying, and waxing it will.

1 oz of rinseless to 16 oz of distilled water. The good news is that Adam's bottles are actually 17 oz.

I keep a sign in my car that says:

    Please
    Do
    NOT
    Wash
    Under any
    Circumstance
    Thank You

I then place it right on top of the shifter, and since my car is a manual, it's not like they won't see it.

I bought this car new right off of the showroom floor. Luckily, there were almost no swirls at all on it, just some marring and very light straight line scratches from people touching it all day.

Here are two before pictures, but the car was already pretty good to begin with:

Since I will be bringing this car to college, there will be no place to really wash it, so I applied a coating for protection.
First I removed all of the stickers that I had the dealer leave on, removed all brackets and license plates, then rinsed it down for a wash. Next up was some foam with an iron removing car shampoo and then a 2 bucket wash with a microfiber wash mitt, 2oz of Adam's car shampoo, and 4 oz of APC.

    Adam's Car Wash Shampoo
Adam's Grit Guard Car Wash Bucket
    Adam's All Purpose Cleaner

At this point I would have done the wheels and tires, but they were already clean from the dealer prep.

The car was then sprayed with an iron decontamination product similar to DWC. There was only a noticeable color change on the hood, lower front bumper, and the rear license plate holder.

    Adam's Deep Wheel Cleaner

I then rinsed and pat the car dry with Adam's Great White and Double Soft towels. Next I pulled it into the garage where I planned on claying it, but this car was smooth. Perhaps the dealer did it when they prepped it for the showroom. I know they do where I work, so it's possible they did here too.

Adam's Great White Microfiber Drying Towel
    Adam's Double Soft Microfiber Towel

I then attacked the light marring and scratches by hand with Adam's orange hex grip polishing pad and a compound and polish.

I then sprayed the car down with a 15% IPA solution to prep it for the coating. I ended up using 15 mL for 2 coats. The glass was cleaned using Adam's glass cleaner and microfiber glass towels.  It was then sealed with Adam's Quick Sealant.

Here are the after pictures. Unfortunately, it's been cloudy all day, so really no sun shots.

They changed the gallon seals because when they were shipping from Colorado, the bottles would "suck in" as they traveled back down to sea level.  The new seal is "breathable" and lets you know that it hasn't been tampered with.

The clay is now 2 pieces so that it stays fresh longer.

The pads seem like a quality issue.  You should call them and get replacements.

Sit in the passenger seat with the towel in your right hand, then reach over your body and rotate your hand over 180 degrees and it should then be easy to reach the whole windshield.

Personally, I would have shipped it Friday or Saturday at the absolute latest.  If I know I can't ship something immediately, I don't put it up for sale.

I'm sure some of you are cringing that I went that long without a wash but I've been spending 15 hours a day 3 days a week for school, working 3 days, and I didn't have access to the car on Sundays during those 5 weeks.  So, how did Americana (all of the paint minus the front bumper) and quick sealant (front bumper and glass) hold up.  Quite well if you ask me, especially quick sealant which had bugs stuck to it for 5 weeks.  Here it is just after rinsing it after today's wash.  The water also sheeted off very well.

Lately I have been doing a lot of highway driving and the front end of my car was covered in bugs.  After doing the drive in the rain, here were the results.  All of the bugs came off almost completely clean.

Calm down.  It's a discussion forum.  If everyone just wanted to know the recommended procedure, they'd read the back of the bottle and this forum wouldn't have a single post.
