I think there's another thread like this out there.

To your question, maybe 100 bucks last month but about 2500 - 3000 to build out the whole collection over a couple years.  Like many have said before, you find yourself spending A LOT in the beginning and then it tapers off. The rest are "maintenance purchases" as I like to call them.

My wallet basically had Chernobyl style meltdown the first year.

I called Adam's yesterday morning with a potential issue with the order I placed over the weekend.  Not only was Nick understanding, he went well above and beyond my expectations to ensure I was taken care of.  Company's could take a huge lesson from Adam's on their amazing customer support.  Thanks again.

I use the wheel woolies and they work fantastic. Not sure how i ever thought my wheels were actually clean before actually using these combined with some deep wheel cleaner   I don't have the turbo stick so can't comment on that one but i am sure it works great too.

Your new one will stay that color pink since it wasn't mixed and filled with the bubbler in place.

Let me first start out by saying I am super pleased with each of the Adam's products I have used.

    Now on to my experiences.

First time calling Matt took my call. I told him what I was looking to do and what I wanted. We discussed my budget and went from there. Once he figured out I lived only 20-30 mins from the HQ he said just come on in. When I arrived he had everything already set to the side. We then went back into the warehouse area. Let me tell you this. They have a smooth operation going on back there. Matt definitely squared me away. I went away a HAPPY camper to say the least.

Got a little extra monies from the boss (wife). I called Matt and he told me to stop on by again. So we did the same thing. Fitted what I could with in my budget.

As we were walking about to my car in comes the man himself Adam!

I have never met such a humble business owner. I got to meet his daughter, and I had my 3 yr old son with me. We chit chatted for a few and he asked me what my goals were with his products. So I told him what I wanted to do. Piece by piece is how I am going to tackle everything I wanted lol.

Adam had asked me if I had gotten to try waterless wash. I wasn't able to fit that in my budget I said. He told me to walk with him so we all did still talking. He then grabbed me a bottle of waterless wash and some WW towels!! He told me to try this out. I couldn't have thanked him enough.

So he showed around to where all the kids toys and stuff were at. Kids played for a few, but I had to get going. My little guy was getting cranky.

Every time I have visited the HQ, I have always have the best experience. It helps that the products are top notch!.

Thanks again Matt for all your help each time I visit!

WHTEVO reacted to Team Adam's in Masking before polishing
Yep... its a matter of choice:

You either invest time on the front end to mask the trim and prevent polish residues...

    OR

You spend time at the end removing polish residues from trim.

Either way you'll have some work to do. I always mask and even then do my best to avoid hitting the trim just in case. If you have a fairly steady hand while you work its not a big deal.

I don't see why why you would DS after polishing.  Use an IPA solution to remove residue from the paintwork, which will ensure the MSS bonds as well as possible.  You don't want to add any chems to the paint before MSS is applied.  Not a bad question at all... One I haven't thought about before and I'm sure others here haven't either.  Best bet is to wash vehicle after polishing to remove residues, or IPA wipedown, which is my preferred method.

Yes, you will have to re-layer each product you want on the vehicle.

I try to lightly mist the whole car then i'll proceed to drying it with the great white towel. Works fine for me, although i tend to go through quite a bit of DS as well. But as long as it works, then i don't mind too much.

I spray the entire car with Detail spray then dry it.   No spots.

I know that doesnt help save product, but it works for me for now.

I don't there is much i can add. I think Brian did a pretty good job explaining it.

Personally i don't tape my gaps, but i do tape over black trim. I just wait until the end of a panel to go over the gap with the pad so it does not leave excess product in said gaps.

I personally like the product you physically wipe on rather than spraying to prevent product from getting on the rims which in turn "attracts" brake dust etc. But like Matt said, Adam's has always come out with great products, so i am sure it'll work great.
