DeDonDeRosa Posted June 16, 2016 Share Posted June 16, 2016 i know im prob overthinking this but is there any adverse effects of using detail spray over h2o guard and gloss? there is nothing in the detail spray that would breakdown the h2o or make it less effective is there? 0 rrmccabe Posted June 24, 2016 Share Posted June 24, 2016 If you are just looking for a quick wipe down the detail spray is the way to go. G&G is a fair amount of work getting applied. I am still trying to like G&G and I have not totally gave up on it yet. The biggest hurdle (for me) is overcoming my original mindset that it was a spray on and wipe off product like detail spray. In my opinion its closer to a wax product and along with that comes elbo grease to apply it. You really need to buff it down with dry microfibers or you are going to have a smeared mess. How often to you apply it, after each wash or only once every 2-3 months? It's more of a garage queen car, never driven in the rain.
