FYI: For those that want to get road salt off

Question

My winter tip for those that like to rinse off the under carriage of there vehicles. Just get a garden sprinkler that shoots upward and set it under your vehicle. Also, let it spray in that area of the underside and move around as necessary. Attached is a picture for reference.

great idea ..hook up to the hot water and you have nice rinse going  :2thumbs:

I have a robotic touch-less drive thru wash at the Shell station where I get my gas. Its great because it uses hot water under jet sprayers as you pull in. Its pretty cool. Gets your wheels and your whole under body cleaned.

My local touchless car wash has the undercarriage spray.  Granted, you don't get long spray times, but during the cold winter, it works for me.  As a matter of fact, I run my vehicle through the touchless was to knock off salt and road grime during the winter months as there are not many days to get a proper wash in.  This would be good in warmer months though.
