I think it's excellent that Adams solicits feedback like this from their users! it's truly the most effective way for any company in any industry to stay relevant and informed and progress to new levels. I agree that itemized list of packages would be helpful. A wishlist would also be useful. When i was first putting together a list of supplies i needed i would put them in the shopping cart to keep track of them all but then my list would eventually get thrown out of the cart and i'd have to shop them all again. A wishlist would fix that.
I think an in depth description of the uses of each product could be helpful also. Maybe a pdf link from the product page that lists dilution ratios and what other surfaces its commonly used on as well as what surfaces it should NOT be used on. For instance, Brilliant Glaze is used for many other things than paint application but if someone is not on this forum they'd probably never know. That would also show how versatile your products are and add value to their use.

On a local note, your Denver HQ is the one place your customers can put a face to the company and interact with adams people face to face. I can't stress how important it is to ensure that these interactions are successful and fulfilling for the customer. The few times i've been into the Denver HQ i've been offered help and overall satisfied with the experience i have but not necessarily blown away. I do think the shop could be better merchandised and have different labeled categories for Interior/Exterior/Correction etc. Right now they're just loosely grouped and sitting on the shelf. I think that could really help novice detailers wrap their mind around all the different products. Otherwise it could be very easy to come in and get overwhelmed and intimidated by all the different options.

Rich that’s a good point. I need to check into that. But it would still be so much more expensive than a gallon. I cannot believe I am so focused on this. I guess it’s the first time I’ve really felt the need to push something with Adams from a suggestion perspective and follow through with it. I am passionate about ON in gallon size. I’m also semi-passionate about them doing the gallon refill kit again:)

Someone mentioned a group buy scenario or like limited run, I really think that would be awesome. Seems they could gauge interest that way and scale accordingly.

Honestly, it used to be really cool to be on the forums and hear of developmental stuff, and see photos of it. Lately on the forums it seems that aside from Dan and Chris and some moderators (Who are not official Adams employees) there is little to no interaction from the Adams staff. It seems that the forums have become a place for the members which is great, but has been neglected and almost forgotten about by Adams, with Instagram or other social media outlets getting first crack at anything, or even first knowledge of it.

I understand Adam is a busy man and I have heard he sees what goes on here, which is evident recently when he made a rare appearance. But lets take a look at the post counts for a moment...

Kyle I wont draw comparisons to your predecesor, that will happen alot no matter what is said, you need to make that role yours. What I will say is that the following and such that he had was due not only to a passion for what he did, but also his interaction with the group. Posting on here, dropping tips and tricks, even doing a Q&A type vid series at one point, which shared some GREAT knowledge and some simple stuff that can be overlooked.

I would love to see some forum driven stuff, maybe its just a photo of someone with a non descript bottle or something like that. I understand that trying to beat your competition to stuff is key, first on the market with the best product wins...but if social media sees it and that has to be cross posted by members to the community....where is the secret? Maybe it could work something of what it used to where the forums would see an update of the sale coming before all the email subscriptions went out. I have seen that there are listings for giveaways that happen, usually not a word hits the forums for them anymore, releases are almost prelaunched on social media platforms, sneak peaks on these and nothing to the forums...maybe that is the simple answer to how things are going to move forward....

I wanted to post a topic up about how awesome Emery is. I had an issue with a previous order where the wrong pad was shipped to me. It’s probably the first time I have ever had the wrong thing sent to me and I’ve made several orders. Within minutes of speaking with Emery, he resolved the problem. Super cool guy with a very helpful approach. Having support like that from this company is why I remain loyal to Adams. I have rarely had any issues, but when I have, they have always stepped up to resolve them. Thanks for your time and assistance Emery and the rest of the Adams team.

We have a bug sponge, and I don’t think we’ve ever used it to be honest. Some rinseless straight up on a microfiber and let it soak on the bugs for a few minutes and they usually wipe right off.

We’ve also been known to steam them off. I constantly praise the power of steam, but it works really well and without a lot of chemicals. That being said, the heat will remove wax protection so we do it as part of the process before we apply.

When we slow down I’ll get around to writing a thing on steam and how well it works. And you can get into steam without spending a fortune.

So to @Adam and his entire team, I also want to say THANK YOU! Your focus on the customer is what makes you such a special company, and why I will continue to be a patron for a long, long time.

I think I saw on Instagram where Adams stated the trim coating could be used on top of the trim restore. But I don’t know if anyone has tried that. I certainly haven’t. I think that would be the correct protection for it. The VRT might also work to top it and provide more longevity. I would definitely like to know the answer to the question you are asking.

H2O G&G will last longer than VRT will on your trim.  Either product can be used on top of the Trim Restorer.  If you have the time to let it cure properly before getting wet, the Ceramic Trim Coating would give the longest protection.

Fold it in quarters (or halves) with the thin side towards the surface, use DS as an aid, and dry away! Adam demos it in this video, and there is a brief set of instructions already on the product page under the "Product Detalis" tab.

I agree with what everyone has said. I’d love to see a video going through all the methods to remove bug guts from least ro most severe cases. You guys might not get them as bad in cold climates but here in the south they are everywhere! Also maybe a how to coat plastic fender wells with trim coating. Tips there like using a foam paint brush like those little cheap ones you can get at the hardware store. Can we coat headlights as well? Love to see a video about that if possible. Maybe a video talking about using the trim restore and trim coating as a combo assuming that’s a legit method. Oh and can somebody please clear up the proper way to use the Ultra Plush drying towel? Maybe that’s not a video but rather a bullet point within the product page. Lastly, an about me video for each of the Adams Team or at least those who feel so inclined and have the time.  Hope some of these ideas give y’all some decent material or at least spark more conversation. By the way, I dig the YouTube channel.

I hope they do indeed make the ON a gallon size.  I know that we have been asking for it since it first released.  I actually can't believe that nothing has been said about it either way, other than it is being presented to the higher ups for consideration.

Maybe it is one of those products that costs too much to make in gallon size? I can't imagine why it would, but maybe, I don't pretend to know how much it costs Adams to make any product.

Or maybe the profits are just much larger when sold in 16 oz bottles, and because the demand is there, why lose profits by selling a gallon size that would return less revenue?

I just hope they would tell us something one way or another.  We all know the demand is there, I would say it is probably in as much demand as Pumpkin Spice Detail Spray, if not more, and we all know that is one of the most demanded products.

Junior reacted to Focus_Red in Tough and Microsilk Glass Towels Review
To me, having dirty glass is a huge pet peeve. I want the glass I'm looking through to be as invisible as humanly possible. This is why I own every glass cleaning product Adams offers. I'm constantly looking for the most effective and efficient way of cleaning glass and keeping it clean. (this is a relatively long review. If you're looking for a TL;DR, jump to the bottom).

Enter the tough and microsilk glass towels. When these were released, I was hesitant. My current approach works rather well. I clean heavy dirt with the aerosol glass cleaner and fuzzy side of a green towel. I use the smoother side of the green towel to remove as many streaks as possible. If I'm applying the glass sealant I follow the process on the bottle. If not, I follow the heavy dirt cleaning by wiping the glass as clean as possible with the blue "perfect glass" cleaning towel. If I'm cleaning only mildly dirty glass I use the glass cleaner and the same two towel approach. However I was still curious about the new towels so I snagged a couple of each type.

The first towel I used was the microsilk towel. As soon as I held it for the first time, I was immediately reminded of the tiny Oakley cases that come with their sunglasses/glasses. This made me realize these towels were going to be used on interior glass only. Which wasn't a problem. In fact, the inside windshield of my Corvette had a haze on it which was a perfect test for these towels. I quickly went outside and began to clean the interior glass without any other products other than the towel. I was impressed at how easily it cleaned the glass. All the haze came off quickly. The towel slid over the glass nice and easily without grabbing (like those blue "perfect glass" towels). It's now stored nice and neatly in the center console of the car, ready for use when ever I need it.

Now for the tough glass towel. I wasn't smart and didn't read up on these towels so I didn't fully understand the difference between them and the green towels Adams sells. Usually that's not a good idea (always do your research before spending money), however I was very pleasantly surprised with these. When I opened the package I realized these were VERY different from any other towel. They are much stiffer. Reminds me of those pads you put under the dish drying rack in your kitchen. It's not super thick, but it definitely is thicker than a standard towel. This gives the towel not only great absorbent properties, but also cleaning properties. When I use the green towel, it gets saturated quickly. I find myself constantly folding and re-folding so as to not leave streaks. With the new tough glass towel I didn't have to do that once. In fact, I covered the outside of the windshield in the standard glass cleaner, had the tough glass towel folded into fourths, and scrubbed away. It cleaned like no other with less effort! In fact, all corners of the glass, side windows especially, were easy to clean given how stiff this towel is. I could get the corner of the towel into tight spots and remove any dirt, smears, or smudges. Once I was done cleaning, I flipped the towel over to the dry side (which was bone dry as the other side trapped all the glass cleaner) and made sure no streaks were left. There was no need to follow it up with a different towel. I proceeded to clean all the other windows on the corvette with one side of the towel. I even used less glass cleaner! I also was able to use the one towel for the entire process and not leave a single streak. This towel is now an absolute staple in my detailing arsenal. 100% would recommend to anyone.

    TL;DR:
Microsilk towel is awesome for interior glass. Effortlessly glides over glass and is very efficient.

The tough glass towel is an incredible one stop product for all exterior glass. Gets heavy dirt off without getting saturated, and doesn't leave any streaks. Allowed me to use less cleaning product.
