I like the old red pumps on the shampoo bottles because you could do about 14 pumps for 2 oz

Based on this question I would advise to let the alcohol stay in the liquor and medicine cabinet LOL

    Clear coat failure.

If you do attempt this, be diligent about residue management. You'll be pulling a LOT...I mean a LOT of dead clear off, which will saturate your pad and it will stop cutting completely. If you don't manage it, you'll get heat buildup and likely trash your pads.

There are quite a few good videos out there on compound residue management. Educate yourself before attempting this, and have 5-8 compounding pads ready to go. You'll probably need all of them.

    Good luck!

The microfiber applicators work fine but its easier to lay it down thin with a hex grip IMO - I've used both and prefer hex grip applicators for applying sealant - you also use less product

Unless you're trying to get a hot date from a babe trust me they will be wowed with just the claying and sealant and a thorough wash and vac on the interior - if you have the time, apply whatever extra you want on top lol

Ricky Bobby got a reaction from chops1sc in How to clean & dress your WHOLE sidewall
Omg brings back memories of 15-20 years ago when I helped my dad wash my mom's car and his car on a Sunday - we would dry the car (with bath towels of course) - then when done he would drive into the caul-de-sac and park the car, and spray on the popular Tire Wet foamy aerosol dressing and wipe it in with a rag, then move the car another 3 feet and get the spots he missed, let it sit a few mins and drive it back into our driveway and in the garage.

I think he even brought the cardboard up to the street so he wouldn't get oil smileys on the street lol -

^I agree with Dan - buy it during one of their sales for sure - also the "other retailer" you pay sales tax in probably more than half the states in the US right now - I appreciate vendors that don't have retail operations in my state so I don't have to pay more tax to the government than I already do LOL

No "issue", just very difficult to remove and no real added benefit. Go with LPS.

Follow the manufacturer's instructions - if its Xpel Ultimate, I wouldn't be polishing the film - Just keep it clean and sealed, since it self heals.

Yes Porsche black is soft, especially non-metallic black.  Have fun washing every 2 hours LOL

Since you also have the wallet for the PPF - invest the $360 in the Master Blaster, like I told you in the last thread - then you can blowdry the car and only use single or double softs for final wipes

I do a full load of towels so many of mine sit for weeks in the hamper

If the stains are bad I hit them before I toss in hamper, and a spritz before throwing in.  If the stains aren't bad I just leave them in hamper and spritz before throwing in the wash.  I also let them fill up and soak in the wash for at least an hour or two before shutting the lid and letting the cycle run.

    Works great for me
