I just got a little use out of them so far, but I like them.  I bought the APC in 32oz to try.  You can adjust the sprayer more to you liking compared to the 16oz bottles and the bottle is in the price of the product so you are saving the 6.99 compared to buying the empty bottle and product.  I will be buying more products in the 32oz size for the bottle, sprayer, and because I use more than a 16oz bottle, but not a gallon fast enough in most products.  I already have a stock of supplies, but the new 32oz bundle is nice.

Is there any other way?  I really don't like the quick sealant product and don't want to put anymore on the car.

I got high at work. Went up on the rooftop to replace the flag. I have to use a 125ft boom lift to get all the way up there. At least I have a nice view when I am up that high.

We do this at my house as well. Adams APC diluted 1:1 is used for cleaning the stove, kitchen counters, the bathtub and shower, and a bunch of other stuff too. It's like 409 on steroids! And it actually smells far better than most household cleaner was well.

WW is probably great for house windows, dusting, etc.

Dilute that APC 50:50 and you have a great in house cleaner (I've been doing this for a while now).  I hate using harsh chemicals like bleach in the house so my Adams stuff does double duty lol

Dylan is this similar to the "Hydro-Seal" that you were developing when you were with that other company for a while? I'm assuming it's actually much better. I have been wanting to try the hydro seal for a while but I refused to give that company my business. SOOOO glad you guys finally released this!!

I was using that Meguiars Gold class stuff and I thought it was the best. But then I actually became more educated about detailing products.

Sadly, I was like this before I discovered Adams.
I bought what I "thought" was the best stuff at the time. I was using the consumer grade Meguiars stuff from the auto parts stores, and the cheap dollar store microfiber towels and wash mitts.
The very first time I tried Adams products I was amazed and I immediately thought "WTF have I been using that CRAP for all these years?? Where have you been all my life Adams?!"
Ever since that day, I have been purchasing 98% of my detailing supplies from Adams.

I just wanted to comment about Adam's customer service. I got my shipment last week and due to rough handling by FedEx, I had a sprayer head damaged and the top caps on a bottle of Car Shampoo and a bottle of Buttery Wax were both damaged. By the time I got off work and called the customer service number, nobody was there so I left a message explaining what happened, along with my contact info. About an hour or so later I saw I had a new voicemail. It was Ashley at Adam's Polishes, she left me a message saying that they would send me out a new sprayer and bottle caps asap. I have to give two thumbs up for Adam's customer service! So many other companies would tell you to take it up with the shipper since they are the ones who damaged it. But Adams goes above and beyond to please their customers. That's one of the reasons I can justify paying for Adams products even though they are more expensive than the next guy. They perform like no other, plus the best customer service to stand behind their products, its a WIN-WIN!!!

On second thought - maybe I should just keep that one to myself.  Never mind.

Hey Dylan, for the OCD customer (like myself) is there a nice template that Adam's uses around the office that this can be copied and pasted into? I'd like to print a few copies and laminate them.

Not trying to make more work for you but if its simple and can be downloaded from the forum or website that would be awesome sauce.

SInce I started testing coatings, both unique formulations and stuff sold by other companies, this isnt' true for all of them. The big guys the Opt and CP are living up to the claims for sure. The smaller outfits though - theres a lot of hype that isn't delivered on. One very popular option (that I won't name) was applied and I was able to completely diminish the beading properties of it in 3 washes by using nothing more than APC concentrate mixed in soap. The label of course claimed YEARS of durability. Others that claim self cleaning proved to do no better at repelling grime than a basic poly sealant.

My point is this - the coatings market has some legit players, then theres a lot of guys relying on smoke, mirrors, and consumer ignorance to capture market share. Heres the funny part - in the world of coatings there primary raw material (polysilazane) only comes from a limited source. The newer versions that promise more gloss cut that with resins. In a dumbed down way more resin = more gloss, but less durability. What you should be looking for in a coating (IMHO) is out and out durability since it can be topped with more traditional LSP's for the asthetic aspects.

What is truly exciting is whats on the horizon, legitimate self healing coatings that can be wire brushed and level themselves out in just moments. The catch - they require a full clean downdraft paint booth, professional paint spraying equipment, and cost thousands of dollars to have applied. Not exactly technology that people will be using at home.

The current generation of stuff is becoming more and more user friendly, what needs to happen is more consumer education as to what a coating can actually do. There are far too many claims that are just baseless out there and too much hype by guys who don't know any better. If/when we finalize a coating product the goal will be to set REALISTIC expectations for what the product does - not a bunch of outlandish promises.

Is a coating really a product everyone needs? IMO no. I wouldn't ever apply one to my C/10... doesn't make sense. Would I use one on my daily driver thats parked outside 24/7? Absolutely. Theres viability for use on wheels for most people, but not entire cars for everyone. We'll delve more into it as we work towards a solution of our own.

GREAT tip Dylan, I do the same.  Old waterless jug is now a 1:16 Rinseless jug, old APC jug is now cut 1:1 APC (works just as good as full strength in my experience), etc.

You could always put up a thread in the garage sale forum, some members may send you a couple empty jugs instead of recycling them.

They do not. I keep a measuring cup in the garage just for mixing products... I've actually more and more started mixing gallon batches of my preferred dilutions so I can simply refill from that rather than having to exhaust an entire bottle, then remix to avoid an off ratio dilution (make sense?)

If i have RTU dilutions of products I use I can top off the bottle at any time, but if I mix IN the bottle and I get down to 1/3rd of the product left its difficult to refill at the proper dilution by adding to that bottle. Hold onto a few of your gallons after you clean one out and use them for that... it really does make using diluted products easier.

I was seriously considering a Flex too.
I am rocking an el cheapo Harbor Freight polisher right now. Hopefully one day I will be able to afford a Cyclo. But rather than fork out the cash for a Cyclo right now, I'd rather build my Adams collection a bit more. I have all the staples, but I want to get into more of the polishes now. Just bought the wife a 2014 Altima, so I think I will try the Adam's paint sealant on it. Right now all I've been using is the Buttery wax. I swear that stuff would get eaten if I put it in a bowl with some Hills wafers! Lololol It smells EXACTLY like banana pudding.

Here is what I picture. A tool roll that holds the smaples in pockets.  The roll is secured with a velco strap and you can place a few microfibers in the the middle before you roll it up. Flaps on the ends to keep dust from getting into the microfiber. Simple and effective.
I think I missed my calling!

This idea has actually already been adopted by several Adams authorized vendors. That's how I got hooked on Adams. I've always just usedover the counter products (yep, I just didn't know any better) and I thought that Adams was way overpriced, so I was very hesitant to order any product even though I had heard tons of great reviews. Jarrod at Bulldog Car Care was a vendor on a truck forum I frequent, and he was selling a "4oz Adams sampler kit" which had about 6 of 7 different products in it. So I figured that was the cheapest way for me to tty out Adams products firsthand, without shelling out over $100 to do so. To make a long story short, I was beyond impressed with EVERYTHING I tried. I quickly realized that "you get what you pay for" and I had been paying for garbage all these years for products from auto parts stores. I definitely see the value in Adams products, and that's why I will continue to buy them even though they cost FAR more than over the counter products. But I can justify the higher price because the products work FAR better than the over the counter stuff.
So in a nutshell, I think its a great idea, and you can even gain new customers by offering such a 4oz kit. Once new customers try the products, they will be hooked, just like I got hooked.
