I'd really like to hear your opinion on how much squeegee/drying, if any, is needed to be spot-free.

That's not just any ol' duster, Aaron. They have used it on wheels, undercarriage, under hood...even on a spot in the parking lot where the camera crew spilled some morning coffee. And, that high tech marvel of a duster STILL works great on paint!

LT1xL82 got a reaction from Yo-Yo Ma's Cousin in Adam's Swirl Killer | FAQ's | Discussion
This topic is closer to politics than detailing. A bit of a slippery slope, indeed.
Adams' products are mostly made in the USA. Their customer service is beyond reproach. And it appears they treat their employees well. They seem to take a very high road competing in an industry with players worldwide. None of this changes, regardless where the polisher is made.

Adam's Customer Appreciation Party Friday evening right outside the Fairgrounds. I'll have a large tent in John's front yard with tables and chairs and one of my inflatable Detail Spray balloons up; can't miss us.
Food will be from Marcello's and Adam will be there hosting the event.
All are welcome...

LT1xL82 reacted to Nathan in Pre-soaking MF Towels for how long?
Get the microfiber revitalizer. A little goes a long way and it is specially formulated to remove waxes, compounds, etc.
For spot treatment or leaving the towels to soak in a bucket, I use whichever one is closer lol. For washing I always use Microfiber Revitalizer.

LT1xL82 got a reaction from slapshot87 in Pre-soaking MF Towels for how long?
I dedicated some microfiber applicators and plush towels to G&G. They get presoaked immediately after use and washed separate from other towels.

I clean my foam pads with a towel and the polisher running. Tough to describe in text, but there are videos posted on the internet that shows the technique.

That looks like it has been snagged on something..(trim,rough plastic edge). Also,
I'm sure others will chime in but I wash mine after every car I use it on,dry on delicate heat and if its not fully dry, hang it up to finish drying.

LT1xL82 reacted to TheWolf in New Paint Sealant
The PS will last longer than the wax, and provide better protection. The reason that your first application of sealant did not last longer than a typical application of wax, is because you used BG before the sealant.
To get the longer protection with the sealant, it needs to be applied to clean, bare paint. This is because the sealant actually bonds with the paint, which makes it last longer than a wax. The BG will prevent the bonding.
Next time, use your same steps, except switch the order of the sealant and glaze, applying the sealant first, then glaze, then wax.
