I don't think this product is for me I love going outside or in my garage and to wipe down wax wash and all that stuff you do to a car and more I'm retired so I have time it's also therapy for me I'm sure Adams ceramic paint coating is a great product but not for me. I tried his trim coating and it's a great product but that's for a different post

Did someone say single stage paint?  This a front fender from a 1926 Roll Royce, repainted about 40 years ago.  Polished with CP, FP, then 'cleaned' with Revive.  Added BG for more pop, then topped with Americana,

Condition of your paint is big part of it. This is with using the buttery wax a few weeks ago. Still a mirror finish minus a little orange peel...lol.

It's hard to compare black vs anything else especially Porsche paint. Black will blow anything else out of the water for looks when maintained correctly. I would doubt it is 100% either there is something besides pure carnuba or it wouldn't apply worth a damn if u ask, however I don't design detailing chemicals I just use them. I'll post a couple shots of Adam's wax over paint sealant on our red Lexus. The church is approx 35-45 ft across the road and the engine is about 15ft away.

The mirror effect comes from more than the wax that's used. It has everything to do with the layers and the condition of the clear coat to begin with. You don't mention what other products he uses or what you use in your process. When I want the best shine, I go with the Patriot on top of sealant and glaze. Most vehicles get the Americana.

Here's a vehicle I just did the other day with Americana and my old truck done with Patriot for your comparison.

Traded my Jeep in for a 2016 Camaro SS with the 2ss package one week ago. Dealer was want to buy our $700 sealant, I showed him a picture of my detailing cart and he said yeah you don't want that hahahaha. Paint is called mosaic black and has gold flakes in it.

So this past Saturday did my first detail on her.
Started by cleaning wheels and tires using wheel cleaner and rubber and tire cleaner. Then foam gunned the car, followed by a 2 bucket washed, then dried.

Did clay bar test with plastic bag to see how it was. I figured it would need to be clayed, but was surprised how bad it really was. Guess it makes sense sitting out in lot and transport. So clayed whole car.

Then applied paint sealant to whole car including glass, wheels. Then followed up with patriot.

I recently sold my car and have ordered a new one which will take a few weeks to arrive.  In the mean time, my sister and brother-in-law let me borrow their Accord which they are currently not using.  The car has been very neglected over the years and the interior especially was in need of some Adam's love.

L&IC was used to clean the interior and the LC gave the seats/interior new life.  I couldn't believe how much dirt came off the leather seats!  Always impressed how well these products work.

No worries... I'm the football loving, vintage car washing enthusiast in our house... my husband is more in to tube amps and software engineering (no need for my damaged, super-soft, still-almost-new orange towel). Still... he gave me the '65 Mustang on our wedding day... and he doesn't mind my detailing addiction... so he's a keeper for sure!

It has been a while since I did a complete detail on my 2007 Monterey Red Metallic Corvette.  I am 70 years old and retired so the car is not a daily driver, but it does see a fair share of driving.

So there is a big Corvette and Chevy show this weekend so I want it to look better then a fast wash and a quick glaze application.  So first thing this morning it got a good bath, followed by a complete clay bar treatment.

Step on was to look and see what needed the paint correction, so after about 15 minutes of inspecting the paint under a bright light, I found that the hatch area, and hood show some small swirls and minor scratches.  So I broke out the PC and a new bottle (first timer using) Paint Correction Polish.  I did a complete application to all the upper areas as I found no signs of damage on the lower areas.

Next I went to teh Paint finish Polish and did the entire car.  What I found however on both products, is one they take a lot longer to flash over, or I was doing something wrong.  What I mean by this, is I have always used a trick I learned from Adam a long time ago, and that is to use the porta Cable and a goob microfiber towel to remove the wax, polish and glaze and just finish it with a quick hand buff.  I had a lot of trouble removing the correction polish. and I gave up on using the method with teh finish polish.  I ended up using a few double soft towels to remove it  and then went over the car witha fresh towel and the buffer.
Here are a few pictures of the results so far.

Tomorrow, will be a good coat of Brillent Glaze and a coat of Americana.
