That's not bad. But I would think I would require wheels for sure, and instead of a flat top, I'd need a deeper shelf so nothing would fall off  while I'm moving around.  Plus if  you have multiple polishers and pads, towels, bottles, etc.  it just wouldn't be big enough for a mobile detailing business. But for someone that has very limited space that might be okay.  Looks more like a work bench to me.

Good point about the wheels, the ones on it are really more for moving when lowered.  It is more of a bench than a detailing cart, but that is what I had been looking for, a new bench to use when detailing our trucks.  I liked this as it has grooves to hold a bucket for washing, as well outlets to plug in a polisher/ipod, and a basket to keep some detailing tools/sprays from falling.

  2.  I was looking for something like that one day and came across this at Costco for the price of $129.99...  https://www.costco.com/4-in-1-Auto-Detailing-Workstation.product.100393350.html

The Durabench® 4-In-1 Auto Detailing Workstation is an indispensable tool that combines a professional grade detail station, an industrial strength work platform, a convenient push cart and a creeper all in one portable and easily storable unit.  Designed for both the professional detailer and the general auto enthusiast, the Durabench® is loaded with features to make any auto detailing job safe and easy.

The Durabench® 4-in-1 includes an integrated 110-Volt Power Strip with two outlets and two USB ports, powering all your buffers, polishers and other auto detailing tools (and even charging your phone). In detail station mode, the Durabench® provides a large 20 inch X 46 inch double-sided work surface: one with a textured anti-slip pattern and built-in support groove to hold 5-gallon wash buckets and on the flip-side a smooth surface suitable for more traditional projects.

    • By simply retracting the telescoping legs, the detail station converts into an elevated work platform, duty rated for 500 lbs, allowing two people to reach all points of even the largest trucks and SUV’s.
    • Both the detail station and work platform modes include an attached storage basket to hold all your detailing accessories within easy reach.
    • By folding in the adjustable legs, the Durabench® becomes a push cart with double bearing smooth motion wheels and collapsible push bar, providing a 320 lb. rated mobile platform capable of transporting all of your equipment and vehicle contents with maximum efficiency.
    • By lowering the push bar the Durabench® transforms into a creeper with articulating front wheels for easy maneuverability and comfortable access to the most challenging detailing locations.
    • Finally, for when your detailing or project needs require even more support, the Durabench® 4-In-1 includes built-in connectivity to chain multiple Durabench® 4-In-1s together, creating a true professional assembly line.

Had some Korean BBQ today. Pork Belly, Marinated Short Rib, & Spicy Pork.

    Looks delicious!

  4. I have a convertible Camaro and space is very limited especially when the top is down. I found some small storage containers that fit under the folded top that I use to travel with and put my Adams detail towels in.  The great thing is that if I need a bucket for a rinseless wash can just take all the towels out and use the storage container.

Also am a reseller for Novistretch Performance Covers for the front, it really helps cut down on the bugs. While it is not recommended for long haul driving, have done twelve hours with it and no damage.  I just take it off each night, and before putting back on the next day I rinseless or waterless wash the front fascia. The cover itself is very lightweight so you could rinse it in a sink/bathtub, roll it in a hotel towel to get out excess moisture and then hang to dry.  At home I wash it on gentle cycle with the Adams Microfiber cleaner and air dry.

Pictures are of my 2013 Hot Wheels Coupe and shows you the bugs/debris it collected on a road trip. The last picture is when the cottonwoods were throwing their fluff all over  Also have them for the 6th Gen Camaro, 5/6/7 Gen Corvettes, Challengers/Chargers, 6th Gen Mustangs, and Batwing style Harleys.  They are easy on/off, and just replace existing screws with snap screws (no drilling).

That all being, agree with everyone else, a great polish & application of sealant on the car before a road trip makes it much easier to maintain & protect.

Dang!  That sight will make you believe in God.

It is beautiful!  The speed limit is 30 MPH across the bridge so you definitely can enjoy the view.  They also have walkways on both sides for people. The north end parking is free, whereas the parking lot on the southend you need a Discovery Pass.

I have called two of the three re-sellers in my area and got a no answer or vm only. I have been ordering online instead.

Sorry to hear they are not responding....let me know if there is anything can ever do to help you out.  Plus like said, you are always welcome to visit if you come up this way.  Usually the closest I get to your area is Mount St. Helens (we do an annual end of Season cruise out that way with the Camaro group).

  7. Welcome Patrick!  You definitely are a in a beautiful place. Have had many friends who had tours there.  Still remember the stories about the coconut spiders and going out to the garage to find their car blocked in by a huge snake (python?)!  They also had a huge H3 group there, lots of wild fun with that!  Do you get a lot of sand/salt spray in your area?  That is where having H2O guard and gloss will be helpful to protect and as well make a nice hydrophobic surface.

  8. Welcome to the Forums!  Don't beat yourself up for using the coin ops, many people use them because they cannot wash their cars at their own place, or do not have a shaded place to wash. I even have been known to use the coin ops when traveling (hence why I love the 3.5 gallon bucket with a gamma seal) or when going to car shows (as most shows for me are a minimum of a two hour drive).  That being, once you start using Adams products the appreciation of a good & proper scratch free clean becomes addictive, in a good way ;)

  9. Welcome to the Forum Jordan!  You have around three Adams Polishes resellers in the Vancouver, WA area, so if you ever need product quickly you can always look them up.  I also am a reseller but a couple hours NorthWest of Seattle.  If you happen to go tourist mode, come up to Whidbey Island and Deception Pass Bridge, it is a great sight to see!

ON smells amazing..... SO SHOULD WE ALL COLLECTIVELY BOMBARD THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA WITH REQUEST FOR ON IN GALLON OR DO WE CALL THEM LIKE CRAZY....  AND A RESTOCK OF THAT CINCO DE MAYO WOULDNT HURT EITHER SEEING THAT EVERYONE MOSTLY MISSED OUT

Yes, I recommend calling & emailing so they can track the requests.

  11. Here it is assembled with the bottom & all the cupcakes on the stand. Made red velvet, red velvet with cheesecake, carrot cake with cherries,  carrot cake with cheesecake, chocolate blood orange with blood orange curd, lemon strawberry with lemon strawberry curd, and white cake. Frosting was either cream cheese or swiss meringue depending on the cupcake flavor. Lot of work but my Camaro friends loved it and since it was their day that is what is most important. Last picture is of all the "Camaro Girls"...all camaro owners in their own rights...and the groom of course!

If you take it in the Camaro, it won’t stand chance.    ;)  Seriously though, that is cute! Nice job.

LOL...probably a very true statement! We took the Centennial edition Silverado. I probably could have fit the two coolers in the back seat of the convertible, but figured it was better/safer to just take the truck.

  13. Was very busy this week making cupcakes & a giant cupcake for a friends wedding. Five different kinds of cupcakes (over 100). Here is just the top of the giant cupcake...let's hope it holds up for the almost three hour drive!

Wondering what that is sticking out of his grill.

It is his tow hook, required for track days.  Our group puts a shot glass in it, and then when people ask at car shows what it is, they tell them it is their tip jar to help fund more mods. ;) Of course they remove the shot glass when at the track, but for normal driving they can leave it in, as they fit pretty tight.  And by the way, even believe he did get "donations" that day as well...LOL

Most likely a Tow Hook.  There is a spot on those cars to take a plastic cover off and screw in a tow hook recovery point..

Thanks for answering and sorry about my delayed response, you got it right.  On some of the models though there is not a cover to remove (such as on my 6th gen Camaro).  There is also an option out there to use the tow hook slot for a no-drill license plate bracket.  Our actual tow hook is kept in the trunk under the floor mat in a fitted foam casing.

  15. I jujst talked with Customer service about this the other day.  They are passing the information on to Marketing/Sales.  They will run the numbers and current sales to see if there appears to be a demand for.  That being, please be prepared for the price to be about the same as or just a little under what Guard & Gloss would be.

So, I have a customer who has several rescue Cavaliers and Cocker Spaniel.  One dog had explosive diarrhea and one has a bladder control issue.  Nothing was helping to get the smell out from those incidents, well except for ON.  They really love the product and are hoping for them to come out with a gallon as well. I have them covered, but would be nice for ease of ordering and saving on waste by having the ability to order a gallon online.  So hopefully my discussion with customer service made an impression (told them there is always comments on the forum about needing it, and that is only a small number of the Adams user population).

So, my suggestion to you is to call customer service or email customer service and tell them about wanting to get it in the gallon size, as remember while they do watch the forums, they may not get all things noted and passed on.

That's a great ride.  That's a keeper.  My wife won a NoviStretch bra and mirror covers on FB from the company and Corvette America.  I still have to put the 4 extra screws/snaps on before I can use it.  Looks like it will be a lot easier to put on and take off than my old one that snapped on the sides, but had hooks inside the motor and in the mouth of the Vette.

Congrats on your new ride. She's a beauty!

Thank you!  Yes the Novistretch are super easy to install and as well to use.  I have installed the snap screws on cars at shows before they head home, takes me about five minutes max (I have a mini tool kit I take with for that purpose).  Amazes people when they see me doing it...but then again they see me detailing the cars at shows while the hubby goes and visits...LOL

That garage has got to be full by now, Lenore !    If not, do you have any room for me to store one of mine ???

Nice looking car.  Best of luck with it.

Did I notice the calipers are color matched ?

Yes, our garage is full now, as the three trucks each take up more than one spot.  We have the vette loaned out to an Australian here training with the Military and are considering selling the 2013 Avalanche (only has 51,750 miles on it and has customer halo headlights, custom painted bowties, 2" lift kit, and is the Black Diamond LTZ loaded edition).  We may also sell the vette after we get it back..  After that, we will have some room to store a vehicle :)   As for the calipers, yes they are color matched.  The seatbelts and knee pads are orange as well!

  18. Picked up the new 2018 Hot Wheels 50th Anniversary Camaro today!  They had it on the lift Thursday after arrival to put on the ground affects, so took a picture of the underneath.  I told the dealership to not wash it, that I would bring in my Adams Polishes, so would just need to use their wash bay, they had not problem letting me wash and dry it there (they know I am obsessive).  After drying installed the Novistretch (am a reseller for them as well).  That Crush orange color is definitely a head turner!

All the advice here on engine cleaning is great and works well on newer vehicle however, in the case of an older vehicle like my 59 Morris the engine bay has a lot of electrical connections.  I have had some people tell me that the waters ok since it is no worse than what happens if you drive in the rain or on a wet road but,  I wanted to get advice on the best way to clean the engine bay.  I am planning to do some repainting of the stuff you see in the picture that needs it but, I still would like to keep it clean.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I have a portable steam cleaner that I can use to get in and treat specific areas without spraying down an entire engine.  It is just a store bought one that attaches to my steam mop for the house.
