For some reason ive been using Adams stuff for over a year and never knew there was a forum haha, tons of great info here, lots of clean cars too

So ive got all the usual stuff to keep my machines shiny but i do lots of road track days and have recently been running slicks, which now likes to sling rubber/tar all over the sides of my car. I do know of Mothers R3 and Stoner Tarminator but id like to see if anyone has suggestions on some Adams products that might work before i go and buy something else. I ordered the new wash/wax soap, rubber cleaner and stripper soap so if one of those works ill be in business, if not im open to suggestions!

Try pre-soaking the bugs with WW or diluted RW. This will help soften them up, so you can blast some of them off with the hose before using your wash media (pad or wedge).

The New Strip Wash will also help clean the bugs off better than the regular pH-balanced CS.

Like Beemer said, the clay will get what the wash misses, and a good coat of PS is your best defense against stuck-on bugs.

So I just have to brag for a minute. I've used so many high dollar waxes on this car. $130 Dodo Juice Supernatural, CG white wax, CG 5050 paste wax, and many others. I thought that the Dodo juice was worthless and that the 5050 was alright.

I ordered the Brilliant Glaze and Americana along with my mystery boxes. The day before it was due to arrive I clayed the car to prep the surface. Within 2 hours of receiving my order I had completed the glazing and topped it off with the Americana. I've used many paste waxes and liquid waxes. The paste wax in general is more difficult to apply and removed when compared to a liquid wax. I read many reviews on the Americana PASTE wax and didn't really know what to believe. I just HAD to try it out for myself. WOW!! I was left speechless as I drooled over the perfect paint that was before my eyes. It all wiped on and wiped off as easy as all the reviews had said. Such a unique paste wax experience.

I'm a detailing fanatic and have spent well over $2,000 trying out MANY, MANY products. My Accord is a 2016 Touring edition with a white pearlescent paint. I was unimpressed with how little of a pearl effect I was getting with the other high dollar products. I swear that no other product has made this paint literally change colors. As you can see in the pictures below (No camera filters were applied or altered) just how different my paint appears on the lighting conditions. It went from the brightest white it has ever been to the softest pearl at sunset. The pictures don't even do the paint justice, but you can see the color change. I am a FOREVER customer of Adam's Polishes and have no need nor desire to "shine chase" anymore. You knocked this product line out of the park! Enjoy these pictures!

This is correct. Allowing Americana to cure for 30-60 minutes maximizes its durability, but it's not required to get excellent performance.

I wasn't able to get to my usual weekend detail on my car this past week and was itching to get my car clean again. Was finally able to do so today so I decided to do a strip wash while I was at it.

    Products used:
    Foam cannon
    Car shampoo with APC
    G&G
    Brilliant glaze

    Process:
    Quick rinse
    Foam car
    Rinse Again
    Re-foam
1 bucket with multiple wash mitts
    Dry and protect with G&G
Brilliant Glaze to finish it off.

Really happy with the shine and how it turned out. Thanks to Adam's as always for their awesome products and Don or Zapdon on here for trading the Brilliant Glaze with me.

Yup, LPS works fine on matte finishes.  As Roger mentioned, they will have a little "sheen" to them but it's not going to turn them gloss black or anything crazy.  I think I would recommend HGG during your wash routine.  Less work and good protection.

Of course, the whole purpose of winter wheels is to let them take the brunt of winter and keep your nice wheels nice!  I do seasonal swaps on two of my vehicles and rarely give them a thorough cleaning.....I just hit them with APC and Wheel Cleaner a couple of times per season and then when they're off the car, I hit the barrels to get them ready for next year.

You certainly can but they will be a little shiny.

Some people have a problem with their "matte" wheels looking shiny - but as long as you know and are OK with it.

Did you do one panel at a time? And for my experience I just used a little of the pcp with this product less is more. If it is getting hard to take out put some brilliant glaze on top and it should wipe away easily.

Well it was time to paint correct my brothers in law S5, yikes that cars paint job was a mess, and that white paint is hard as a rock! Unfortunately a few of the swirls that were left on the paint were deep scratches that you could grab with your fingernails. Besides that it came out amazing, he was super happy with it! And of course i finished the job with the amazing H2O G&G!

Hey guys so I'm going to start this new topic to update you all with my details done on different cars.

Right now I'm detailing my fathers in law 2003 Ford Mustang Mach 1 in Torch Red, this car paint is in terrible condition, I never seen such huge amount swirls like this before. Nothing that the Cyclo Polisher with the awesome Adam's Paint correcting polish and paint finishing polish couldn't take care of.

So i started to bath this beauty with the Adams car shampoo obviously:

Next i used the deep wheel cleaner mixed 1:1 to decontaminate the paint and after that i took it inside the shop and started to clay the whole car, which took a lot of work because it had a lot of hard particles on the paint and it felt like sand paper when i was claying. After i applied VRT on all the trims and shaker hood intake which was all grey and fading:

So i started polishing the front hood, which came out amazing with a couple passes:

So hood done, sealed it with the H20 guard and gloss:

Next day i started working on the trunk and rear bumper and to get the whole trunk polished and looking good i removed the spoiler, and here's the before and after shots:

    Before:

    After:

    And rear all done:

    A close up:

And that was it, this next weekend I'm getting the roof done and hopefully the fenders, quarter panels and doors. I must say the Cyclo polisher is the best tool i ever bought in my life, after putting a lot of hours working with it no pain on my wrists at all.

    Welcome to the forum Tyler!

My advice is to go for the kits, as they provide the best value:

    WINTER WASHING DETAIL KIT

    INTERIOR 6 PACK

    LIQUID PAINT SEALANT KIT

    MICROFIBER BUNDLE

    Add a second bucket:
    DETAILING BUCKET

And some of the NEW TIRE & RUBBER CLEANER.

If you have a pressure washer, then the FOAM CANNON CAR WASH KIT is a must.

If no pressure washer, then go with the SUDS-FOR-DAYS FOAM GUN BUNDLE.

Something silly i noticed when washing the car today, is that I somehow always manage to get myself dirty when i clean the wheels. Must be getting too into the task because I end up with a bunch of dots all over me....but hey the wheels are clean!

Not supposed to, but if having it dry is unavoidable, then you can reactivate the dried residue before the rinse per the above posts.
