Thanks guys.  Yea I will just dump it into another bottle and relabel it.

And Hamilton detail,  this car season (summer)  am going to start mixing in some other brands as well. Running out of reasons to be brand loyal. There products are too expensive to not get 110% treatment. The proper thing to do would have been to say we are sorry will send you another nozzle.  Done.

The term 9h is a marketing/hype word that is practically meaningless in real world car detailing applications.  A coating’s effectiveness is measured by its ability to self clean, protect against contamination, and its aesthetic properties.  No coating is actually providing any resistance to scratching based on its hardness.  Helping to reduce swirl marks is a function of the self cleaning properties and preventing contamination from sticking therefore making the wash process safer/easier.

I agree.  Which is why you make it achievable with multiple coats to satisfy everyone’s preferences.  Having to put tire shine over a coating is absurd.

Meh. Great video (and I am head over heels in love BTW...but that’s a separate topic), but still, eco is a lost in the middle product.  I get what she’s saying in the video, but...it still doesn’t “do” anything. And that’s my hang up with the product.  If your wheels are in horrible shape or need (iron) decon, this is not the product.  If your wheels are relatively cared for and just need a tune up, it does nothing.  It doesn’t decontaminate, it doesn’t lift or loosen the stuff on the wheel, it doesn’t create a no touch cleaning situation, etc.  Now you’re in a situation where you need to mit wash anyways. If you’re doing a soap/water mitt wash anyways, this product buys you nothing. It’s a wasted step. I’ve ran several experiments at home under different conditions, different levels of brake dust/driving debris and it has never made a difference. Even if I used it as a pretreatment to my bucket/mitt wash, it still didn’t make the wheel any easier to wash than had I not used it. Look, I’m the biggest Adam’s fan as the next guy, but gotta say, for me, this item is just a placebo. I guess the only use/benefit I could see is if you are using it at face value like she does in the video, and using that in place of a soap bucket/mitt wash.  I didn’t try that.  But still, it still won’t do any better than soap and water on cared for wheels.

If your wheels are absolutely trashed, then go wheel cleaner. If your vehicle usually generates a lot of brake dust, then go wheel cleaner. Eco wheel cleaner is good for light duty jobs.

In my experience, I don’t see the need for eco wheel cleaner. Mainly because, just regular car shampoo and water  gets the same job done.

I can get a gallon of spray wax from a competitor for $26 a gallon. It has great results and longevity. I’m not paying $60 for a gallon of spray wax. Seems a little crazy to me. I love Adam’s, but they were way behind the industry on this product. And on top of that, the crazy price. 😕

My last reply on this subject, but if you go to the 1:32 mark of the video above you can clearly see the dirt sitting on the raised pockets, not going into the recessed ones like is stated. A plush microfiber will give you more surface area and more space for the dirt to travel (into the long fibers).

I purposely bought my son a manual transmission for his first car, and my younger son will drive the same when he starts driving.
I want them to know how, and I feel like it forces them to be more engaged in driving, therefore less likely to text, etc... and/or become complacent.

Although not fun in any type of traffic, manual transmissions are the best!! I highly recomended learning how to drive one, then find one to buy!
Options are becoming more and more limited ..i believe Audi removed all MT.

I had one of my buddies put a box on the roof of my car and he slid it off and it created scratches similar to the first and third pics. I managed to get the majority of the scuff marks out with some HCC and CP. The only thing left were some deep scratches that are barely visible to most.

avimore reacted to cwp2016nd in Car Cover Damage
From the pictures I think you will be able to get them out with compound/polish. If not all of it, at least 85%. But there is only one way to find out!

avimore reacted to shane@detailedreflections in Car Cover Damage
It’s hard to say from the photos. It looks like it’s surface damage and may polish out with some compound and then polish.

Covers can be brutak. Especially when vehicles are left outside and the wind can get to them.

Wetsanding is always an option, but I’d try not to get that far if it could be avoided. If the damage is that deep, you may be looking at a repaint, but I don’t think that’s where this would end up.

Went grocery shopping the other night and it was lightly raining outside. The beads looked so cool on the hood of my little Miata. Very tight and uniform.

No problem, the size of the storage tubs are 345 x 255 x 145 (mm).  Here is the link for them: https://www.bunnings.com.au/ezy-storage-8l-grey-storage-tub_p2583408

Unfortunately the place where I bought them from won't help you much as I'm in Australia.  But if you ever find yourself in my neck of the woods, I got them from here

Just want to say a big thankyou to the Australian Adam's supplier team. I had a minor problem with my order (a product of equal value had made it's way into my order instead of the hose sliders). So at 10 pm on a monday night last week I wrote an e-mail outlining the problem. At 1015 pm I got a reply from the Adams Team (asking me for a copy of my invoive). I supplied it...and then went to bed...but they didn't because in the morning when I checked my e-mail the good folks of Adams had replied at 1110 pm saying that the sliders would be in the post on the tuesday. And I had them on the wednesday.

So publicly I say thankyou for marvellous customer Support from Amy at the Adams Premium Car Care Australia. Legend.

    Same thin handles

Honestly, as a guy with larger hands, it's like trying to clean with a pencil that has a fuzzy end. I've even added another grip to make my (older style) woolie somewhat better, but it's still not comfortable. May have to get a putter grip (and help me practice my short game!), but I don't think that it should be necessary to spend more money.

I know it's been asked about before, but what kept you from considering/offering larger handles? I understand they just came out and congrats on offering more options, but I must ask again...can you look into offering larger handles...please??!!

Just applied H2O GG while drying my truck last night (Coat of LPS under it).  As I was parking it, I noticed a good sized spider trying to crawl across the hood...he was basically on a tread mill, lol! He wasn't moving anywhere but he sure was trying.  I noticed several other bugs doing this as well.  Great product for instant protection, beading, and shine. Makes white look great.

avimore reacted to falcaineer in Residue removal pads?
Any way you can develop/release a pad for use on a machine polisher that will remove polish, sealant, etc. residue? Is that even possible? Thinking of a Double Soft Towel made into a pad, maybe, made to be used at slow speeds. I'm gonna call it the "Save Our Shoulders" campaign, for now. And reference this for my patent if it's doable!

Or has someone out there found one and/or figured out a prototype for the rest of us to use?
