This is where the ozone generator is needed. I have used it in vehicles, basements, bathrooms. There isn't really a place you can't use it. The important thing to remember about ozone is that you must follow the 3 P's (people, pets, and plants). There are just some smells that can't be removed without the use of an ozone machine. A major source is in the air ducts (besides the direct contact zone such as a headliner). The ozone doesn't just cover up smells, it literally disinfects them. It kills mold, mildew, and whatever else the type of funk is. They aren't that expensive. I bought an $80 unit on e-bay and have used it everywhere!

I think you completely misunderstood my previous post. I didn’t try to convince you that you HAD to have an ozone generator in your arsenal. I was merely explaining the benifits and advantages to having one. I use mine for my limited customer base and I find it a cheap and well appreciated freebie. Keep on keeping on.

I've always been told that the best cleaner for Matte Black paint on a bike is Windex. It cleans, but obviously no protection at all. I would research the coating for Matte paint as Shane mentioned.

We haven’t tried the Adam’s Fabric Protector since they don’t sell it direct and we can get similar products from other manufacturers we are set up with and have great products readily available.

There are two that we use with equally good results. Some quick searches should give you options. Due to the nature of this forum (understandably so), I can’t name them right here. They are not hard to find though.

I think your expectations on time are a little off. A have done a Chevy 2500 4 door with a standard bed. I only did a simple wash, wheel cleaning, wax (no polishing whatsoever), and an interior detail. It took me over 8 hours to do just that. With all of your added steps, this is easily a 12-15 hour job. Good Luck!

I was thinking of using it as a duster on furniture, similar to ZMAN and Rich. I just moved to I need to dust shelves and tables and what not. I'll give ID a try. Possibly the Pumpkin Spice ?

I tried it, but didn't like it on that.  I prefer the Leather Conditioner for my leather furniture  and jackets.
ID works great on the top of the fridge, the range hood,  even outdoor porch furniture.  Not furniture exposed to the elements.  Try it on your interior storm doors.  Takes scuff marks off.

My last Vette was an 02, sold it in 2012.  The day I traded her in, the seats looked almost as good as the day I got her off the rollback. 10 years.  The material was perfect, the only thing wrong with them was the padding was squished a bit from 10 years of me sitting on them.  The dash, doors, etc. ALL looked brand new. And the ONLY product that ever touched them was Adam's Leather Conditioner. Never needed to use the cleaner.  My Impala, Monte Carlo, Impala, Cadillac, and current Vette all have had nothing but Adam's LC. Not one issue ever. I have vented/heated perforated seats in the Cadillac, and perforated seats in the Vette, and never had any build up or filling in holes.
Before I found Adam's I tried a lot of other stuff, mostly Megs or Turtle Wax products. The difference for me was HUGE once I tried Adam's.
I apply it on a micro, wipe on, buff, and if it streaks, it's because it's soaking up product at different rates because some spots were drier than others. I just reapply until I get a uniform finish. In the winter before I put the Vette into storage, I use my hand and rub it in real well. Keeps it nice and moisturized until Spring comes around again. And that's in an unheated garage in Pennsylvania.
So there ya have it. You can pay more, you can pay less, but you won't find better with regular treatments.

Hey Moroni. Welcome to the forum! Don't forget to check-in at the New Member section!
The pad selection is pretty easy when it comes to Adam's products. The pads are color coded to the polishes that Adam's sells.
The blue is for the HEAVY CORRECTING COMPOUND. The orange is for the CORRECTING POLISH. The white is for the FINSIHING POLSIH.
The microfiber pad is going to be for heavier scratch removal, where as the foam will be for lighter scratch removal.
I typically use the microfiber pad for headlight lens restoration.

tmevilsizor reacted to LSX Maestro in How do I remmove Ceramic Wax?
The CPW and PS are both very similar in durability from what Adam's tells us.  I don't see why it would be necessary to strip off the CPW and replace it with PS just to put the CPW back on top.  I'd wait a while.  Also, I don't think one round of SW will eat the CPW right off.  I've had several waxes/sealants shrug off SW.  The only thing that truly strips the protection is the decon, clay, and polish process.  The CPW is probably pretty tough with the added "ceramic" properties it has over your typical Carnauba.  If you really want to put PS on just for the sake of putting PS on, then you'll likely need to completely start over, short of correcting polish.  Strip Wash or APC, wipe down with CP Eraser or similar, not sure if Coating Prep is good enough, and see where that puts you.  If the paint feels grabby and naked, then apply the PS.

To be honest with you, I would leave the CPW on and then monthly coat it with the new Ceramic Boost 2.0 and see how that treats you vs PS.

I spray on the insulator and let the foaming action lift the 'stuff' out of the liner.  Then wipe lightly with a towel (probably a terry towel or very used microfiber).

Once you get it clean, I would suggest applying the new (yet-to-be-released) Fabric Protector to help repel the salt stains in the future.

I have used a foaming tire cleaner with decent results.  Maybe a foaming carpet cleaner would work too.

With cases like Adams collaboration with ASSC and now untamed, I have learned to kind of just turn my head the other way. As a business student, I can't say that I see the profit potential of marketing car supplies towards a customer base that's essentially completely unrelated. If they look at what products sold, basically the only thing that sold out on the untamed website was the hoodies, not the shoe cleaner, not the air fresheners, but the apparel. Why? That's their main focus point, not car detailing supplies. I see the benefit of collarborations, but the more Adams grows the more I see seemingly haphazard collaborations popping up. In my personal opinion, I have seen so much effort on Adams part exerted towards finding people with thousands of followers to collaborate with in an attempt to grow their customer base, yet when Adams already loyal customers continue to have concerns over shipping times, missing products, and defects, they have seemingly placed maintaining their customer base below attempting to bring new people in. I understand Adams is a "small" company, but the people they chose to collaborate with and not to mention the fact that their prices are starting to climb, a sticker used to cost $1.99 now it's $2.99, I feel that maybe instead of finding people to collaborate with Adams should be more focused on finding new employees to help keep up with growing demand. I've looked up to Adam Pitale as my inspiration to the kind of business owner I wished to be once I graduate, and I used to be able to evidently see his mark on the company, however now I can't say that I do anymore. Adams products are still the best and I will continue to use them, but I can't help but say that time after time again I have had issues with my orders, missing products, and/or damaged products. I just hope Adams doesn't forget the customers they do have in an attempt to draw new ones in.

Could probably use the rinseless method if you sprayed a fair amount on it. I have done rinseless after pulling into the garage after rain caught me. Of course I got laughed at by the rest of the folks in the house. But THEY DONT KNOW!!! They just don't know.
