It’s not often that Adams Polishes makes a mistake, but here is a fun one. I bought the SK Pro 12mm today and when I got home I was in for a surprise! (I am going back to HQ to undo this mistake, but boy would this have looked good with my other limited editions!)

Caveat: it's sold as both All Purpose Cleaner, and Eco All Purpose Cleaner

Hi Alisha, if you're using distilled water it can last longer than that, and yes you could mix into larger batches as long as you keep it in a sealed container and shake it up before each use. 

7-10 days with tap water sitting in an open bucket is fairly accurate though. Just like if you leave a bucket in the garage with water, Car Shampoo, and a wet wash pad in the bucket, after a week or two it can start to get smelly and possibly even have mildew build-up depending on temperature and humidity. I've done this on accident before and had to then soak the wash pad in Towel & Pad Revitalizer and pressure wash it out to get the bad smell out of it. 

I usually keep a bucket of mixed Rinseless Wash solution for 1-2 weeks to wipe down my cars after a drive, but in the summer months I always end up finding small bugs in the bucket - they must like the smell of the rinseless solution - so I usually spin of the gamma seal lids onto the bucket after I'm done cleaning a vehicle. Then after 2 weeks or so, I dump out that bucket, and mix another bucket with another 2 oz or less of Rinseless Wash. 

For clay lube, I usually just mix one 16oz bottle at a time, using 1oz or less of Rinseless Wash, since 16oz is usually enough for me to clay a vehicle. You could definitely mix up a larger batch though if you are detailing multiple vehicles per day or week 👍

Washed and dried with GDS

So being honest I am a big fan of Adams products but have not had decent longevity with anything they sell. LPS, Patriot, etc.  I even had bad results with an Adams ceramic job which in my opinion was caused by improper instructions after a product change in Adams original ceramic. Actually, I was told this by customer service.
 
 It left a bad taste in my mouth for Adams protection products and I was led to another brand that was a hybrid ceramic spray wax. Was cheap, easy to apply and in my opinion worked as well as anything Adams I had used.
 
Because of my results with other brand I recommended it to a few friends.  On a whim I decided to try Graphene on my truck.  Little learning curve with it as well but in the end I got a decent coating on the truck and am very happy with it.
 
I had a little bit of the graphene left in the bottle so I thought I would do half my wifes hood with it and see how it held up over the winter. At the same time I did the other half of the hood with this other brand product.

I already have another ceramic kit sitting on the shelf ready to do her car when we have a free weekend.

Hi Sven, and welcome to the forum! I've always been a fan of Avalanches and almost bought one, but ended up with a Trailblazer SS instead 

Do you have any pictures of the severity of the swirl marks? After washing and claying the vehicle, you would start with a small test area (about 18"x18") using our blue Adam's Compound with a Microfiber Cutting Pad or Blue Foam Pad, and then step down to our white Adam's Polish with a White Foam Pad. Once the swirl marks are out, then I would recommend our Ceramic Spray Coating for a very easy to apply protection product, with more durability and longevity than a wax. 

If you haven't already purchased the Porter Cable - it's a fine and dependable machine - I would recommend spending a little bit more on something like our Swirl Killer 15MM Polisher, especially if you plan on doing a few cars like you mentioned. The Swirl Killer has a long-throw random orbit pattern, which corrects better and faster while still being very safe on the paint. It will have less vibration and be easier on your hands, fingers, and forearms. The Porter Cable is a very solid machine that we used to sell, but there have been significant technology improvements over the last 10 years or so to make paint correction and polishing a less strenuous process. Depending on the backing plate diameter on the Porter Cable, you may need our 5.5" pads (5" backing plate) or 6.5" pads (6" backing plate). The Swirl Killer 15MM Polisher is on sale right now plus an extra 15% off, and it would use our 5.5" pads.

If you're looking for a complete compounding and polishing kit, I would recommend our Swirl Killer 15MM Two Step Kit. Keep in mind this kit is strictly compounding and polishing, so I would recommend our Fine Grade Clay Bar & Detail Spray Kit prior to machine polishing, and then the Ceramic Spray Coating Basic Kit for protection after.
