So, I tried 2 oz of Adams rinseless wash  (waterless wash dilution) and 2 oz of Boost 1.0 in a 32 once bottle with the rest water. Tested it on some glass, cleaned it up well and left a slick surface behind with no streaking and no buffing. Might try adding  1/2 - 1 more ounces of boost to it.

Yeah,ok, fair enough.  It's their party so it's their rules.  I get that, thanks for the explanation.  It's like if you watch Fox news or CNN, you'll get one extreme narrow view or the other (I watch neither).  I'll use this forum for adam's only discussion.  I won't even say things like, "My cousin MEG told me about a good wash and wax." ?  It's just weird to see your words changed in a post with no indication that they were changed.  I am aware that this is not that big of a deal, and no one has to change, but please consider that to have a true "forum," a free discussion of ideas is required.  Maybe, start a specific thread for brand comparisons.  Instead of changing someone's post, repost it under that thread.

I have one daughter who has a degree as a Chef and the other daughter with a Chemistry degree. I'm willing to bet that between them they could "cook" up something and we won't know if we should eat, drink or put it on a car, especially if it smelled like Bacon, tasted like Pizza and had the consistency of a smoothie.

Gotcha. As I said I only place orders when I have the minimum for free shipping and  usually take a 10% or 15% discount when I do.  So Amazon Prime does not pay for me.

Oh, I'm not under the illusion we could all agree...sort of like PS or BG first ?...but maybe it could become an annual release and scents vary.

If so, consider taking inputs for the scents and label artwork from forum members, and then we all vote on here. Products created by and on behalf of all of us!

Depending on the condition of the vehicle, corrections aren't always 100%. Especially if the vehicle has been neglected for years. If BG has filling capabilities, I could see the value in laying that down first and then sealing it. I guess what it boils down to is let the vehicle tell you what order it needs to be laid down in. For a perfect vehicle, PS then BG then Wax. For a not so perfect vehicle, BG then PS then Wax.

Looks great,  in the future you could also, re foam the car and clay utilizing the foam,  or just leave the car wet, and use your WW or DS, as the water will provide some extra lube,  then rinse the whole car, then dry.

So I used Waterless Wash and a Clay Mitt this weekend with very good success. I got the mitt very wet with the WW and then sprayed 2'x2' sections at a time with the WW. With very little pressure, I was able to effectively clay the car.  I found the mitt gliding nicely over the vehicle and I could feel the containments being lifted off. The first few passes were rough but the more I passed, the smoother it got. I also didn't notice the mitt laying down any extra marks in the paint. I did end up passing over the car with an SK (that was my plan all a long) but I didn't see the mitt marring the paint.

I can't say WW worked any better or worse than DS but WW is cheaper than DS and if I dilute RW it will be even cheaper, I think WW/RW will be my go to for claying for now on.

Here's a before and after of a bird bomb that I was working on this weekend using the above process. The bomb etched the clear coat pretty bad. It's not 100% gone as I would have needed to wet sand the area but it's 90% gone and really can't be seen unless you are looking for it.

    Process:
    Cleaned with Ultra Foam Shampoo
Dried with a Great White Drying Towel
Clayed with a Mitt and Waterless Wash
Heavy Cutting Compound on a Microfiber Pad
Cutting Compound on a Foam Pad
Finishing Polish on a Foam Pad

I looked at this question for a while before I made the big decision to do two of my vehicles by flipping them.  Both are Dark Red which allowed me to get a real comparison on how they looked and my preference for looks is BG then PS.  What I don't have yet, is the longevity since it has not been on the vehicles long enough.  In my opinion, if I get 3 months from either, I'll be more than happy.  Both vehicles have been topped with Buttery Wax and Ceramic Boost, so the only difference is the order of the BG and PS.

I placed a decent size order during the last mystery bucket sale which included the Detail Boy shirts and a few detail boy/girl stickers. One shirt was for me and one was for my son. While the package was inbound, the day of the delivery, FedEx marked the package as damaged, not deliverable. I called Adam's and spoke to one of their sales reps, Chandler. He said typically they wait until the damaged package is returned, see what product(s) are damaged, replaced those, re-box and then ship back out. He saw that I had some of the Detail Boy shirts in there which sparked the conversation of hoping they were ok because he knew inventory was running low on them. I said to him, I'd hate for you all to get the box back and see that the shirts were messed up and then not have inventory to replace it. He said you're right, I'll deal with FedEx and getting the damaged package back but in the meantime I'll make sure a new box is sent out to you ASAP so that you don't miss out on the Detail Boy shirts! 24 hours later I had a new order in my account and a tracking number in my email! Thanks Chandler and Adam's!

To be honest, I wouldn’t throw another coat of wax on. When we use sealants, we will top with two thin coats of wax.

Your car has a coating that’s topped with boost and now ceramic wax. There isn’t anything to be gained by another coat.

If you really want to do it, and it’s been driven as little as you say a simple wash and dry followed by the coat of wax is all you need.

In this case though “less is more” is the approach I would take.

I just tried the ceramic paste wax for the first time too and I was thoroughly impressed with the whole experience and the results were awesome! The application was super easy, I did feel that buffing off the residue was a tad harder to do then the Patriot wax was but I felt that the wax is more durable because of that.
