Sorry for the delay, everyone. We were going back and forth with the design team for a bit, but other obligations pulled me away from working on this. We just approved the design, so they should be moving forward with the upgrade soon.

We ended up going with a more modern take on the current skin in order to keep things somewhat similar and reduce any re-learning curve. I've attached a preview of it applied to their test forum. The final version may differ slightly and we will have the ability to make tweaks to it once the upgrade is complete.

Update 10/23: The upgrade is complete. Please use the Forum Support area to report any issues you may come across, and we will make efforts to address them.
Please note that at first the forum may seem slow - this is due to a number of background processes (indexing, etc) that are still running, and should subside as the day progresses.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update 10/20: Upgrade is currently planned for Monday 10/23.
Update 10/18: theme has been finalized. Upgrade should happen in a few days.
Update 10/6: current estimated time for upgrade is towards the end of next week.
    Hello everyone,
I am excited to announce that we will soon be upgrading the forum here at Adam's. The new version of this software will provide our community with a number of new features, as well as performance and security enhancements.
The forum will be offline for about an hour during this process, though we don't yet have a hard date that this will be taking place. The upgrade is primarily being handled by the support and design staff at Invision, and I will update this post as they provide additional information.
Let me know if you have any questions.
    Thanks,
    Gerry

The design team estimates that the new theme will be ready by midweek next week. The software upgrade will begin shortly after we approve the new design. I will try to get a preview of the design posted beforehand.

Adam's Customer Appreciation Party Friday evening right outside the Fairgrounds. I'll have a large tent in John's front yard with tables and chairs and one of my inflatable Detail Spray balloons up; can't miss us.
Food will be from Marcello's and Adam will be there hosting the event.
    All are welcome...

Chris keep in mind there is a difference in Adams staff and moderators.
The moderators have responsibilities in maintaining the day to day order on the actual forum but in a lot of situations they cant speak for the company as they dont have access to that info and its not their position to do so. Reviews, store, etc.

Took me a while to figure this out as well.

I've been on this forum for a LONG time. Here's my take:

    1:  Things change.
    2:  People come and go.
3:  You get out what you put in.
4:  Expecting to have every issue resolved immediately from here is unrealistic.

This has always been and continues to be an amazing resource and collection of like-minded folks.

Try some Metal Polish 1 on a small area. If your applicator pulls up black residue, you're dealing with bare metal and can use Metal Polish 1 to remove oxidation/discoloration, followed by Metal Polish 2 to make it super shiny. If you get no black residue, then it's coated and should be treated like paint, in which case you'd use either Finishing Polish or Revive Polish. Either a foam or microfiber applicator will do just fine if you're working by hand.

Great news, I got the daily driver done today even with the rain.  I made some adjustments from the replies (Thank you for all of your help) and I was impressed with how it turned out.  I took my time with it, but it went very smoothly and here is the order I ended up with:
Clean wheels with Wheel Cleaner Clean tires with Tire and Rubber Cleaner Wash with Car Shampoo/All Purpose Cleaner Clay car with Detail Spray Rinse car off and dry Seal car with Paint Sealant Apply Tire Shine to tires I will save the H2O Guard and Gloss for maintenance washes.  Overall the car looks great and I can't wait to get started on the garage queen later this week.

This is a bit overkill One application of paint sealant will last about 6 months. This should be your base of protection since it is the most durable and lasts the longest. I use it on my G8 which, like your car, is white and stays outside, and the "glow" of the car after using just the paint sealant was far and away enough for me to forgo using a wax topper. I would save a few bucks and some time and skip the wax step.

H2O is great for after maintenance washes like you said. I wouldn't immediately rinse the car off and put H2O on as soon as you've finished using paint sealant though. Again, overkill. Less is more.

I'd say seal your car with paint sealant, and then use H2O as a 'boost' every 2 or 3 washes going forward.

    Nice review.

A quick tip for the others worried about using up this product to quickly,  Use APC and let that do the initial heavy lifting.  Come back with tire & rubber to clean up behind it.

I do something similar with other products that I use to clean tires..
