  1. We did a 2011 Bentley Mulsanne on Friday, here's a few closeups from that correction! Happy Sunday everybody!
  2. You could just buy one. LOL. That's what the rest of us did. Shop looks great dude!
  3. Did some work on a 2011 Jaguar XJL. This car was built to compete in the class with BMW 7series & Audi A8 territory. This was my first time getting up close and personal with one....loooooooooooooved it!!! However, the dealership did one of their famous HACK job "buffs" on this girl.....
  4. Thanks a ton Daddy-O!! Shop pics are coooooming! PROMISE!! I've been waiting until we got to a "happy place" with the decor and arrangement of things. And we will be to that point this week!! On top of that, we have a cruise-in event this Saturday, so many pics will be taken and shared very soon!!! Preciate the love Scott.
  5. Thanks man...but....little....? Adam's is a HUGE, MASSIVE part of my business and it's growth!!!! :)
  6. I used to think that too buddy.....but when they come BACK....It's what builds loyalty and good clients, which equals $$$.
  7. These are just some general 50/50 pictures, of various paint corrections we've done. Again, these are shot RAW, after Adam's Correction Polish ONLY. No fillers, glazes, waxes, etc. Cranked hard on a Mercedes E550 awhile back. Here's a few from that project: BAD trunk lid. This was just after initial compounding. Still had final polishing to do after this pic. Hood Some shots from a neglected 2013 Honda Goldwing F6B we did a few weeks ago. For a new bike, she was beat up pretty good. It wasn't in the budget to go for "perfect" so we just did our Light Polish Revival Service on this one. Still made about a 80-85% correction! 50/50 on the left saddlebag. Front fender BEFORE: Front fender AFTER: Ferring BEFORE: Ferring AFTER: A few interior shots. Starting with a 2006 Range Rover: 50/50 on the steering wheel 50/50 driver's seat 50/50 passenger seat Shift knob engraving before Shift knob engraving after We realized we didn't get quite ALL of it out after this pic, so we obviously went back in & finished gettin' the crud, lol. 2011 Vette ZR1 seat save. Engine bays on a 2008 Toyota Sequoia & 2011 Mercedes GL450 BEFORE AFTER A couple closeups on a white Range Rover paint correction - 50/50 Here's a few from a 2009 Honda Accord, with 88k miles, that we have in the shop right now.... It's not in the budget, for this car to get "perfect." But with our Light Polish Revival Service, and Adam's Polishes, here's what we're getting! Preciate y'all hangin' out with me!
  8. In addition to my new son arriving, we recently got a killer new shop! So it just seems that I haven't had time to do full writeups on some of the rides we do. I thought I'd have just one good spot, where I can showcase some good before & after pics or 50/50 shots. Whether it be via paint correction, seat resurrections, interior salvation, or engine bay revivals. And that way I can highlight some of our projects, without having to put together a full writeup. Stay tuned for regular updates to this thread!! There's a few things I'd like to PRECEDE these pics with first of all: 1) All polishing in these pictures, is done with either one of the three polishers > Flex 3401, Rupes LHR21 Bigfoot, or occasionally Flex PE14-2 Rotary. The polishes used are either Adam's old 3-step system (no longer available, long gone), but the majority of these are done with Adam's new 2-step correction system & pads, Found here: ADAM'S POLISHES 2-STEP PAINT CORRECTION SYSTEM 2) All interior work in these pictures, is handled by Adam's interior products. In our interior details, we introduce steam cleaning as an additional cleaning tool for the tight areas. But usually, in what I do, heavy cleansing is needed, therefore we go straight to this combo on the seats, steering wheels, and door panels: ADAM'S POLISHES INTERIOR KIT - ADAM'S TOTAL INTERIOR DETAILER 3) All engine bays in these pictures, are cleaned & nourished with Adam's products. We believe in a non-greasy, non-attractive CONDITIONING treatment for the plastic and rubber components, not "cheap dressings" used by other shops. For healthy cleaning & conditioning, here's what we use: ADAM'S ALL PURPOSE CLEANER - ADAM'S DETAILING BRUSHES - ADAM'S SVRT - ADAM'S IN/OUT SPRAY 4) All photos taken are our property, taken with no filter, no glazes, no waxes, no fillers. The paint pictures are taken RAW, to show pure results, unfiltered!!! We have the incredible great fortune, at Insane Paint Auto Detailing, to have a professional automobile photographer as part of our team/staff/posse (or whatever you wanna call it, lol). So any shots you see with "B Birdwell Photography" are courtesy of his mad skill. However, like always, they are undoctored. We will start with our most recent project, a HIGHLY neglected 2004 Audi A4. Here it is, taped up before polishing, to show the soon coming 50/50 pic. HEAVILY oxidized hood, roof and trunk. Just another angle on the same oxidized hood, prepped for polishing. A few 50/50 shots. This is JUST after heavy compounding, we still had final polishing to do at this point. Trunk lid BEFORE. Trunk lid AFTER. Marring left behind from previous owner's attempt to "debadge" Taken care of. Here's some interior shots from a 2000 Lexus LX470 with 247,000 miles on it, that we SERIOUSLY resurrected! Tailgate jambs handled with a tightness. Lower tailgate dialed in. Seat arm rests cured of years of dead skin & grime. Seats saved. Cloth speaker grilles DELICATELY cleaned of spilled drinks. BEFORE AFTER BEFORE AFTER Engine bay severely neglected in maaaany ways. BEFORE. A few closeups of the AFTER. Had a 2005 Infiniti G35 in the shop recently, for a bit of salvation. Owner was honest, said it had been neglected for a couple years! BEFORE AFTER BEFORE AFTER BEFORE AFTER BEFORE AFTER 50/50 on the driver's seat Trunk Jambs BEFORE Trunk Jambs AFTER
  9. EEEEeeeeeeenteresting. Good stuff guys. There's a few things I'm sure most of you understand.... 1) Adam's won't make/release a product, unless it has a solid "ease of use" rating. 2) Made in the USA. 3) Gotta be better than, ahead of, or AT BARE MINIMUM as good as the best in it's particular category. 4) Extensive testing before release, to absolutely 120% make sure it crushes expectation. There's more to it than that. But those are some things we consider. Not to mention Dylan is a picky bastard, lol, and feels like his personal name is on every bottle of product that ships out of the warehouse. He takes a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge amount of ownership in how product works. Just bare that in mind. And he DOESN'T LIKE "2nd place" at all...... Baron & Chase, nice job breaking down the difference in the two. Good havin' you guys around.
  10. Show em whats up dude!! Might be a slow day tomorrow too....all the other salesmen will be at the hospital, due to their faces being melted off!!!!
  11. Big guy....I've encouraged you to call me multiple times. I'd be glad to help. Just a phone call away dude.
  12. If you have access to a steam cleaner, that could work in your favor, in addition to the above advice!
  13. Yup. Need to wait for the cure time. Erik, that's a great idea buddy!!
  14. Either cut that hose. Kill your neighbor. Or move. That's gonna cause damage in the long run. HARD water = the DEVIL. Metal Polish #1 will clean them up MUCH easier than anything else. Especially with the 4" focus pad & drill. Quick Sealant for protection. But as for a bigger problem....this could do SEVERE damage to your PAINT!!! Until you can come to terms with your idiot neighbor......STAY AWAY bro. Or you're gonna have a much bigger headache.
  15. CAN'T STAND little cars like that..... THAT being said....I LOOOVE the Focus ST. Don't know why. Can't explain it. But there are always "exceptions to the rule." And that little rocket is my "exception." I dig em.
  16. The OP isn't providing much information either. Nor answering many of our questions to boot.... A simple cell phone pic, accompanied by: "Here's what I've done so far....so what do I do next?" Would've already had this issue RESOLVED, 9 posts ago. There's a TON of talented guys in this thread, that are EASILY able to help. But we need to get less "dancing around" from the OP, so we can help resolve this. Plain & simple. @racecar67 - Please just follow up with my suggested info, and we'd be glad to help get ya figured out. Done deal.
  17. Frank's questions will help us help you, good answers to his queries will allow us to be of better service for ya! Just a couple tips that might help in the future: 1) NEVER wash the car when it's hot. NEVER wash the car in the sun. These two very simple suggestions will be crucial in helping prevent water spots when washing. 2) Wax is NOT a cleaner. I'm not sure where people get the idea that wax will "remove defects or clean paint" - but nothing could be further from the truth. The job of wax is to PROTECT the surface, and nothing more. So whenever you're trying to remove paint problems, wax should be the last thing you reach for.
  18. Well, if you clay, you're going to remove some of (very little, but still) the already previously applied protection. So just a 2-bucket is gonna have to do. I guess you COULD follow that with a WW before applying the wax, but that's your call. Why not just top it off with Americana during the initial detail?? If you're saying you'd like to add ANOTHER coat of wax, 30-60 days down the road, then stick with your initial idea. Again, any further paint cleansing or polishing is simply gonna remove what you already have applied.
  19. I did a worthy correction, protection, & detail on a MazdaSpeed3 a few months back. Since then, the client has moved to this part of the country. And he's wanting a "refresh" detail. If you say you can do it, then that means you HAVE TO live up to a certain standard. I won't make a recommendation if you're "2nd string" quality. Not trying to be a snob, lol, I just won't put MY name on a referral, unless you're GOOD. Please either reply to this thread, or contact me directly, if you feel you can help. Thanks a ton! 205-907-6214.
