Bought this fire extinguisher off of my neighbor. I believe its 1940's era. Can't nail down an exact year but it still had the Glass jar inside and it was intact which is pretty rare!
 

 
You can see how dirty and corroded the plate was.

 
Here is what it looked like after I dipped it into muratic acid to get a surface I could polish.

 
And here you can see what it looked liked after polishing with Adam's 1&2. I couldn't believe how well it turned it to a mirror shine. I don't have a good picture of the FINAL polish, but I dropped it off at a metal polishing service and he was also impressed with how well I got it by hand. They also clear coated it for me so it should look like new for 20 years!

Found this on another forum.... I could NEVER do this... I just don't get it. I can't even compute this in my mind on how you could take a car like that and whether its your car or not, and let a brown paper towel hit it.

Prime is also going up 20-40 bucks on top of the current 80.  Just FYI!  We're Prime members and use it like MAD!  Heck, you get free streaming video as well.  Hard to beat it IMO. 

I have my car sitting in the rain on my driveway right now and will be using my rinse less in about an hour.
 
I'm also in the NW burbs and it's nice to see that this -16 degree weather is gone and I can actually do some sort of legitimate washing. My car is filthy.
 
Been doing rinse less washes for 2-3 years now and have never had an issue during winter months as long as you use common sense so you don't mar the paint. Use your discretion and maybe consider pre soaking some spots if you feel necessary.

Hard to say without knowing the temp of the water you'll be using exactly. 
 
Most wax will hold up to 140-160*... beyond that you'll see it degrade. Sealants are going to have a much higher thresholds for temp... Quick Sealant for example can take north of 300* without any evaporation concerns. 

Buy the master blaster. Follow the master blaster up with the detail spray/great white combo. Or I will go as far as since the master blaster did its job, follow up with detail spray/ single or double soft microfiber.

Last time APC mixed with my clay it started to mud up and deteriorate....

Adamized my rifle actually! I wish you could see the sparkle in the scope and rings. It really brings it out once wiped down with the detail spray.

Things are in development. Stay tuned. 

Just leave your detail spray bottle in your cup holder on a hot day and it will leak and fill about a 1/4" of your cupholders. Even after you dry it out, it still leaves the smell! Going on a week strong now!

I hope they cover it as well.
 
If they don't, and you decide to modify anything else that would change how it runs, as in a new cam, you also have to spend the money on a tune. Just like you would if you got rid of DOD.
 
If they don't cover it and it was me, id replace it exactly how it is, unless you can afford to tune the car for the upgrades you have planned. No use doing it and not maximizing performance.

I'd like to rig a backpack two hold two gallons, with tubes reduced into a sprayer that comes around the front. It could hold DS and APC...picture beer helmet but with sprayers and backpack style!
