Yes spray and wipe for the alcohol. After claying you can do anothet alcohol wipe, waterless wash wipe, detail spray wipe whatever you want. I personally go straight into polishing but im guessing you did that so you could go straight to the revive like you asked . To top quick sealant they reccomend waiting 30 minutes before adding glaze or wax. I would seal it and wait for the americana then maintain it with buttery.

    * Engine cleaning involves the use of chemicals and/or water in and around the engine compartment. While the utmost care will be taken to ensure no mechanical or electrical issues arise from this treatment, be aware it will be performed at the owner's discretion.

Modern and American cars shouldn't have a problem, but foreign cars, especially around the dawn of computer technology (80's and early 90's) you should be very careful with water in the engine bay. Adam explains this way back in the volume 5 DVD:

I was getting ready the use my Adam's foam gun this morning and thought 'hey, you have a gallon container of Car Wash mixed at wash strength (http://www.adamsforums.com/forums/tips-tricks/4606.htm), why not do the same for the foamer'! So I filled an empty Car Wash Shampoo gallon jug with 96 oz of water and 18 oz of Adam's Car Wash Shampoo (per Dylan's recommendation of 32 oz to 6-8 oz of shampoo). If I want thicker foam I can add a little more shampoo to the foam gun canister.

Well kids. This is a result of the tapatalk plugin (to say I hate this plugin would be an understatement)

Trying to satisfy the constant moan and groan about "I miss tapatalk" has netted us this problem... tapatalk says its on the IP board end, IP board says its on tapatalks end.

At this point I do not care... I'm giving them about 5 more minutes to figure it out and I'm deleting it... those that want tapatalk - tough luck! We have a mobile skin that is perfectly functional and if our board works without it I fail to see the point.

TT was a pain on our old forum, its been nothing but a headache on this one. I've never been a fan of it and this just provides more reasons why.

Ralfy it all depends on how soft or hard the paint is, softer paint doesn't need a MF pad to finish. You get haze IMO on softer paint with a MF pad, because its still too aggressive. I still prefer cut with MF when needed, finish with foam.

Dylan, I have it on my car and it is being polished off since I miss waxing.

So yeah it definitely does have its pros and cons.

But with that said, I wouldn't call it a "Flavor of the Month." Considering it's been out since 2006 and the consumer version has been out since 2009 and it's pretty much the bar to beat when it comes to coatings, I'd call it pretty much a standard now.

No seriously I have nothing against rotaries I'm just telling you Adams philosophy since your new 'round these parts.

The marks on the white pad look congruent with the design of the grit guard. My pads get marks in them like that sitting in my dish drainer after cleaning them. They should go away after a while.

You guys are crazy if you think it's going to be a rotary....

It would be totally against Adam's MO which is to provide an idiot proof way to make your car shine with literally no chance of harming your paint.

Keep in mind they are not marketing towards pro detailers. I often have to remind myself of this before posting, yet sometimes I dont catch myself in time (sorry). No rotaries, no concentrated products, no aggressive decon products, etc. It's their business model and I can respect that. I graduated from OTC products to Adams and I'll be here waiting when they decide to graduate to a pro-line and fully support them again.

Plus rotaries are old news and just an unnecessary risk with today's pad and product combos IMO.

Thank you for being smart and not just thinking like some think they can pick up a rotary and utilize it properly. A Flex/DA will take care of 99.9% of what a weekend warrior will need, rotary are still a valuable too for proper boutique detailers, especially those dealing with high end exotics and such with awkward areas and reaches (which is what I do prodominatly), but for almost every production car a Flex is the perfect tool. Also IMO if someone calls themselves a pro and uses only DA or only rotary then they are not, and are missing many pros of each machine which when combined are very important to a proper detail. Keep blasting away with your Flex my man, every time I see your camaro in your avatar I wish I would have talked my mom in to the cyber gray, but she loves the red conv shes got, enjoy it in good health!

The feedback we got this weekend on the new products from our distributors and the feedback we've been getting from testers has been stellar. Someone, whos opinion on this stuff is one I hold in high esteem, stated that we had topped one of the most widely used 2 step systems in the industry, one he currently uses a lot.

Of everyone whos had a chance to grab and work with these new products I don't think I've heard anyone less than impressed so they are going to be big for us.

I will say that the launch is not happening this weekend (contrary to what many people are speculating). The new products are still a little ways out. We have to get inventory in house to meet the initial demand, get packaging sorted out, shoot videos for support, etc.

I wish it was as easy as just finding new products and hitting the GO button, but there are a lot of moving parts at work, so stay tuned. They're not far off, but not happening as soon as many of you have emailed asking.

That seems like overkill... You shouldn't need to use SSHR or SHR after the M105/205. If anything you should only need to use FMP if anything at all after the 205. When I did my brothers CTS-V last summer I did 105 followed by FMP and it turned out about 95% corrected.

Use a good compound ,not a polish, chances are the polish won't get it, if it's removed then start polishing:)
It worked for me, I used the 4 inch focus pads on my drill.

Once though on the same car nothing worked but wet sanding, it was too deep into the finish.
