  1. Nice work! Post some pictures after next week as well!
  2. My advice would be to go slow and take your time. Paint decontamination and proper correcting is important in creating great shine. Not to make things more confusing but just yesterday I used the Brilliant Glaze first followed by the Patriot. I am more then impressed with the results. As mentioned before every car is different. This was on one of our Challengers, which rarely sees any rain so I opted not to use any sealant. Now our daily driven Jeep Wrangler the order was wash, clay, polish, sealant. Follow up maintenance is done with the H2O GG. I did not use any wax due to all the black plastic and small surface area. The inferno red will look good! Post some pictures when your done!

  4. On a dark colored car, like purple, you may see a difference. You could always maybe do half the hood and see what you think. On our vehicles after claying and correcting I start out with Liquid Paint Sealant then use Buttery, Americana, or Patriot.
  5. Congratulations and great color choice! I think white is the best color on a Corvette. I would seal the paint first then wax as needed. Don't forget to seal the windshield as well.
  6. I have a CR Spotless and am able to rinse about 30 cars before I have to change resin. I only use it as a final rinse.
  7. Welcome to the forum! There are a lot of variables when it comes to longevity of a product. Is your car garaged, how often do you wash it, where does it sit while at work etc. I have found that Americana will last about 2+ months on our daily driver. I now use H2O GG on it, a Jeep Wrangler. H2O is a fantastic product. I just went 3+ months with an application and it still beaded like the day I put it on. I use the H2O not only on the paint but all the black plastic, headlights, taillights, and wheels. For your BMW you could use the H20 next time then, when needed, top that with the Americana. Another consideration, since it was 80 today in Central PA, is bugs. I do not know where you live, but using the H20 on the front of your BMW will help remove those bugs. I do not wipe our Jeep down every time we drive it but I do when it comes to our other cars. I have a sprayer with diluted rinseless wash which makes bug removal easy. You have the waterless wash which works just as well. As far as washing goes that is up to you. Once a week is great if you have the time. The important factor is getting a solid routine down to prevent scratches while washing/drying. Post some pictures of your car!
  8. Nice work! That PCP looks good! Welcome to the forum.
  9. The BRZ looks good! I had a similar problem with my new 2012 Camaro only it was scratched all over, probably do to being washed on the lot. I had zero experience with polishing until I found Adams and watched the videos on how to do it. Now I have 3 different polishers!
  10. I started with the PC 7424 which is a very user friendly machine. I then bought a Flex 3401 which is much more powerful machine. This past Fall I picked up a Rupes Mini at the Adams tent at the Corvette show in Carlisle. I was really impressed with how well it corrects paint and the ability to get into tight areas. While at the show I was able to use the Rupes Bigfoot LHR 15. This is now on my wish list! If you are going to upgrade I would go with the Rupes Bigfoot LHR 15 or 21 Mark ll. Rupes is a quality product and easy to use. The Flex is also a great product but can be a work out.
