Brilliant Glaze will usually do the trick if you catch it early enough, but it sounds like the coating had already cured too much if the rainbow effect returned.

You may be able to reapply a small amount of the Paint Coating to those areas as Brian stated, but you may end up having to machine polish those spots and start over in that area if that doesn't fix it. You could also try something like Revive Hand Polish or Correcting Polish by hand before going to the machine - they're both going to be more abrasive than Brilliant Glaze.

Having some good lighting will help out, but lights can get pricey depending on what you go with. I have plenty of downward lighting in my garage for the top surfaces of a vehicle, but I use a few LED spotlights on tripods for working on doors, fenders, and bumpers to make sure I get all of the coating residue wiped off. Sealants and waxes are mostly ok to miss a spot when buffing off the residue and then wiping it off the next morning when you notice it, but coatings are not as user friendly in this regard.

So after reading several posts about having adam's products indoors and not in the garage due to weather etc I decided to bring my babies inside. Im still waiting for a new order to add to the arsenal. I might even buy another shelve haha. What do you guys think. I still need the swirl killer and pads, compounds.
    Any feedback is appreciated

Carpet and Upholstery works great not just in cars, but if you have carpets in your house and a carpet scrubber.........it works great on the carpets, and on those little rugs that our wives like so much, but can't go in the washing machine.  Mine happens to like those things.  I happened to find that it works pretty well on our fabric recliner when the grandkids spill stuff too.  The Leather Conditioner is and always has been one of my favorite products.  For future reference, it does have some cleaning properties in it so you don't have to use the cleaner every time unless it's real dirty. I use that stuff everywhere in my car.  Dash, console, seats, doors, shift boot, everywhere.  And it works great on the leather recliner too.
You're going to love the APC for all the tough cleaning jobs, and to clean your pads, etc.
    You made some good purchases.

Well, I did say that and I meant it...right up until I saw a great deal on a used Cyclo in the Garage Sale Forum  . I couldn't pass it up. I'm sure I'll be happy with it and I might still pick up the SK mini since the price was good.

I plan to get a mini to supplement my Cyclo. The ability to use the same 4" pads on both machines is attractive.

A little off topic, but I am reminded of a trip to my grandfathers cabin many years ago. Grandpa served lunch and I noticed the plate wasn't spotless. I made a comment and grandpa said "that's as clean as Coldwater can get them."
Well, this was the mountain cabin so I accepted it.
At dinner I noticed the plate wasn't very clean again. Grandpa saw me looking and repeated "That's as clean as Coldwater can get them."
Well we finished dinner and as grandpa stood up he said "Time to feed the dog, Coldwater, dinner time" and his faithful dog Coldwater came running.
I now return you back to the forum, and useful information about detailing.

I have loved the Cyclo for a long time, still a great tool to use. That said, with the new line of Swirl Killer machines I expect to be selling fewer Cyclos. The SK is a great machine, at a very great price. I have some pro detailers who are using them now too, so, a great machine for novice or pro, at a good price point.

    Hi Neil,

All three of our coatings are unique formulas designed for specific applications.
Adam's Trim Coating is 4H and is designed to have flexibility for plastic and rubber trim surfaces. Adam's Paint Coating is 7H and is designed to be removed by machine polishing if there are any application errors. Adam's Wheel Coating is 9H and is the most durable to stand up against a more harsh environment of hot brakes and brake dust.  Paint Coating could be used on wheels, but it may not be as durable for that specific application. I do not recommend using Paint Coating on trim surfaces though.

I don't have the hose kit for the sidekick. My MBR has a 30' hose on it for when I want to get it somewhere. When using the sidekick, we just use the tip on it and let it do its work. It does great at moving debris out of crevices and panel seams. For heavy moving, it's all the MBR.

I open all the doors and fire up both motors on the master blaster. Dirt and hair go flying out, hardly anything left to vacuum

I have both a PC and a Cyclo, I haven't used the PC since I got the Cyclo over a year ago. It may not be the fastest, but it is the smoothest, and with shoulder arthritis that makes a big difference in my ability to use a device.

I would have to agree that the SK is the best out there for the money.

That said, I own a Cyclo and a Rupes Mini, and I love the combo, yes the Cyclo does not correct as fast as any of the others, but I really like how smooth it is to use. With the Mini in my arsenal I can use the same pads on both machines and keep pad stock down a bit. I did my mothers Jeep liberty last year and the cyclo handled most everything with just a bit of effort and the few nastier marks were easily handled by the mini.

If I had to do it all over again.....I might end up with the same combo as I really like the 4in pads and the easy of use of the cyclo, plus the fact that I really like the ability to handle curves better than my PC did.

I love my cyclo . It certainly get the job done . FYI the cyclo is a long throw polisher at 16mm . It was long throw before long throw was even mainstream . The cyclo may not be the most powerful but for your uses it will be perfect and it's easily the smoothist polisher out there . If u wanna have just one polisher imo it the best

Agreed on the swirl killer polisher. Good combination or value and performance. You can get the combo of SK and SK Mini for just about what I paid for one of my polishers. Definitely a good deal.

I would choose the swirl killer because the price is not crazy expensive, and you do not need the best polisher if you are going to be polishing only 1 car every few months.
