  1. When I still lived on the east coast, I LOVED road trips on Lincoln Hwy!
  2. Took the Camaro to the Pavilions Cruise Saturday night. "That Camaro is SO shiny!"
  3. I ordered the new two step and pads today. Can't wait to try it out.
  4. The AZ twins were at a show together today. Guess which one gets Adam's.
  5. If you are not happy with the repair, do not accept the vehicle, and do not sign anything. Stay in the rental. It is the body shop's duty to return the vehicle to pre-loss condition and the other party's insurance company must fairly compensate the shop to accomplish the repair. Looks like someone smeared some seam sealer in that joint. What does that area of the other side of the vehicle look like? I doubt it looks as sloppy as the repaired side. My guess is the shop has been short paid on some of the repairs, so they are taking some short cuts. That door handle condition is absolutely ludicrous! So much for quality control. You may have to contact the insurance company yourself. Remind them the vehicle has not been returned to pre-loss condition and if they will not authorize the proper repairs, you will seek compensation from their insured for the subsequent repairs needed. Again, sign nothing!
  6. Took this photo at Cruise On Central in Phoenix this weekend. My Chevelle was looking REAL good! I've learned a lot on this forum.
  7. Before we moved to Arizona, we lived in a 2000 SF rancher in northeast Maryland. We installed a pellet stove in the basement. We would set the feed rate and the blower rate at a 'middle' level and about 85% of the house would be heated. On colder days, we would raise the settings. The master bedroom was on the other side of the house and would not get as toasty as the rest of the house. During a cold winter day, the heater would not even fire up. During the night, the heater would fire up very infrequently. Never did the math, but the pellet stove did save on our heating bills. We would burn about 1.5 tons of pellets a winter. At the time, premium pellets were $170/ton delivered to our door. So every other year, we had to buy two tons. You do have to clean the pellet stove. Not a full detail, just remove the ash and clean the glass.
